The dragon nips at his finger, golden eyes staring down at him through ebony locks. Baek Saheon swallows audibly under the stare, his face warming up a considerable degree.
It really has an unfairly handsome face.
“Does that ease your worries?”
Baek Saheon seriously wants to cry.
Did the dragon mistake his pale face as a genuine worry that he wouldn’t be able to fulfill his task as a sacrifice? Good riddance.
OR: Noble Baek Saheon is chosen as the next sacrifice for Dragon Kim Soleum, who seems to be having a little bit too much fun tormenting him. But he will go along with its whims and survive long enough to escape. If only he doesn't grow attached in the process.

Kim Soleum blinks and snaps his gaze back up. A mistake because now he has a full-frontal view of a pair of glistening eyes.
No seriously, what is this?
Baek Saheon is still staring at him, face flushed, nose scrunched up like he had swallowed something bitter.
“You. Called. Me. Cute,” the man repeated as if Kim Soleum is an idiot for not answering the accusation.
OR: when Kim Soleum returns after a night-out with his squad, he doesn’t remember anything in particular. So why is the only memory he bears some vague recollection of is to the sight of Baek Saehoon crying and accusing him of calling the man cute?
