It's the week before Valentine's Day. You don't think you'll be getting any gifts - which is fine, that's humanity's loss - but you definitely don't expect a daily slew of anonymous threats.
You wish you could say it started off small, or innocently enough, or- hell, some other nicely worded descriptor - but you're no liar, so you don't.
It starts off terribly. It ends terribly. Everything is terrible.
