Remember these reasons (Jake Centric)

Summary:

🪐

Right after the Orange Blood comeack, Jake injuries his back. The scary and traumatic experience only gets worse for everyone as Jake's injuries are uncertain, just like his future life and his roll in Enhypen.

He is now in a position where the members have to help him do the most basic things, causing tension and compromising their fragile relationships.

[Chapter 1 has two versions of the accident, in case it could trigger you, please choose one wisely. The rest will be the same.]

.
(Idea inspired by Blink of an Eye fic in this platform)

Notes:

Note/Warning:
-This is medically innacurate.
-I am by no means trying to romanticize accidents/injuries/disabilities/impairments.
-I only get to know a bit of this experince because of my own cervical spine injuries, which are by far as bad as these will be. I only live with chronic pain and some other symptoms born from the lack of treatment/medicine/medical support, but I know that itself already took part of my life.
-I do this because we (CPTS children) love to feel anxious and sad, hence the angst and emotional pain in some of my fics, which in this case I'll create from an accident.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: IMPORTANT NOTE, MUST READ

Chapter Text

CHAPTER 1: THE STAGE
[Don't read if you are triggered by falls. Injuries due to a fall]

CHAPTER 1: THE AIRPORT
[Don't read if you are triggered by crowd crushing. Injuries due to crowd panic, slight crowd crushing]

This is the only chapter that will have two versions.

Feel free to read both if you aren't triggered by any of these (or simply don't care), I did my best in both.

However, the rest of the whole story will be a bit more tilted towards the THE STAGE version, but injuries and the outcome in general is the same with both scenarios. In case you don't read THE STAGE and there comes to be a moment that makes little sense, it's because of this, but you can ask.
