    Summary

An Arthurian themed AU featuring characters from Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series of books and the Lord John Grey stories.

The enduring love triangle of Arthur, Guinevere and Lancelot retold with a different twist. Expect canon to be used and abused, mythology to be woven in as desired and for there to be scenes of an explicit nature.

This is neither Outlander nor Arthurian legend as you may know it, or accept it, but it’s a story that called to me many months ago and I shall endeavour to write it. The characters are fictional and I’ve put them in an indeterminate time, so there will be less historical accuracy than my previous long story.

    Summary

I'm terrible at summary. I have tried for the last hour to write something good that could make you a little interested in reading this. Which I evidently have failed to do.

Paint my heart, is about Kira Bennett and her rocky path to healing. It is filled with lots of drama (emotional chaos), sexual tension (explicit scenes), dark suspense (abusive and manipulative ex-boyfriend).

    Summary

What if the unthinkable happened? What if in the first book when Jamie escaped the Black Watch and was looking for Claire and Murtagh, then he rounded a hill and the six dragoons that -in the story- captured him, had instead killed him?

Before you get ruffled feathers, the side of me not writing fiction is rather pragmatic and logical. In writing fanfiction where anything is possible, then everything is possible and this situation should be considered. I am very glad this is not the way the novels are written! When contemplating different writing cues my brain insisted this had to be acknowledged.

Let’s move on from my personal angst.

If Jamie had died when he rounded that corner, he wouldn't have to go through the painful torture, but he would be gone.

He would’ve died fighting, like the highland warrior we all recognize.

There was no deal with Dougal because Jamie was already gone.

In this story we pick up after Jamie is buried at Lallybroch.

(Don’t forget though, Claire can time travel, hint, hint, hint)
