All she felt was a slight resentment that he’d slept well, and she hadn’t. When she got to his quarters, Matt wasn’t there, so she took full advantage of the private space while he was gone. She pulled the blinds, turned off the lights and lay down on his cot. As soon as she lay down, however, she was reminded of how queasy lying down really made her feel. She snapped upright and put her head in the palm of her hand. What the hell was wrong with her? She never got sick.
Alternate Universe where Matt is placed in the foster care system after his mom kills his dad. He's bounced from home to home before eventually being placed in a small town the summer before his senior year.

After Brett takes a step back from Casey so he can figure out his feelings and what he wants, Stella shows up ready to take her best friend out for a girl's night with Hailey Upton and Kim Burgess. Their night out takes an unexpected turn when the new night club they're at becomes the latest target of a serial bomber, leaving the girls and everyone inside trapped and severely injured. Putting their own injuries aside to help the victims and keep them alive, things take a turn for the worst and the girls are put to the ultimate test in the fight for their lives. On the outside, having seen the bombing on the news at Molly's, Casey and Severide, along with Jay and Adam, rush to the scene but when the unthinkable happens, further trapping the girls and putting their lives in even more danger, the guys are left on the sidelines feeling angry and helpless.
