“I need to talk to him,” Kevin said, words out before he could stop them.
Arnold laughed bemusedly. “Why?”
I had a gay revelation while I was dying in his arms, Kevin thought, and immediately silenced the thought. “I want to see him,” he said instead. Shit, Kevin, that wasn’t much better, he realized, and from Arnold’s expression he knew it too. If questioned, Kevin would blame it on the drugs.
