    Summary

This is a long Tudor-Valois-Habsburg-Medici epic, written with authentic historical detail, plausibly blending facts with fiction.

Anne Boleyn makes an impulsive decision. She and a few others are entrapped. The Duke of Norfolk meets with a secret French messenger. Anne discovers something that makes her situation more dramatic, and she sees Henry VIII for the first time in years.

Exiled from England, Anne Boleyn enters into a political marriage to King François when France is ravaged by the Habsburg invaders. The deadly intrigues of the Tudor, Valois, and Habsburg families and courts are entangled with drama, passion, and wars.

This story is a long series of many historical novels about Henry VIII's queens and the Edwardian era while keeping Anne Boleyn alive. There will because a sequel much later where those who are destined to rule after Henry and François will take power.

    Summary

No one ever thinks it’s going to be them. No one thinks that they will be the unlucky ones. Everyone clings onto that hope, that they’ll never feel the prickle in their throat, the weight in their chest. They think:
    It won’t be me.
    I’m normal.
    My soulmate loves me.
    I’m not like them.
No one thinks they’ll die of flowers.

When Anne Boleyn sails back to England, she meets Catherine of Aragon. What happens next becomes the stuff of folklore and fairytales. The tale of how love lived on, even in death.

The author writes the hanahaki historical AU that absolutely nobody asked for, while taking serious creative liberties with the historical accuracy in the name of Araleyn.

She is the Daughter of Spain, the Queen of England... and Catherine of Aragon would be damned if she let Anne Boleyn take the Crown she fought seven years to wear.

    •••

Everyone said Anne Boleyn’s ambition would be her downfall. And it was.

Everyone also said that the Queen could no longer give the King his heirs... maybe they weren’t right that time.

An AU to S2E18, the episode 'Lady in Waiting.’

The old chapters are rewritten in Lady Perseverance’s new style.

Queen Anne Boleyn discovers King Henry kissing with Lady Jane Seymour, and her grief results in her premature labor. The unfading glory of death in childbirth after giving her husband a much-desired son seems too appealing to a distraught Anne.
