Summary
Walking the corridors of Lightcliffe High again after 11 years felt weird but Ann was just happy enough that she had the opportunity to do what she thought she should be doing with her life (even if her family argued that she didn’t have to do anything with her life due to her inheritance). It felt like she had taken back a bit of her freedom even if she was working for her cousin’s wife. But she feels like her life is being turned upside down again when she hears that Anne Lister is also returning to the school. Maybe that schoolgirl crush hadn’t died down. And maybe Ann would be able to have her chance with her.

Summary
ADDITIONAL CHAPTER ADDED.
‘John Walker’s eyes take Anne in, quickly assessing her appearance. Her slightly androgynous look is further emphasized by the faded jeans, t-shirt and work boots. He’s heard stories about Anne Lister, his mysterious neighbor from Shibden Hall. The rumors of her being the female version a libertine, a lothario rum rampant throughout Halifax, precede her. But he’s also heard about her reputation as an outstanding project manager and a clever businesswoman. He’s willing to forego his personal opinions on the rumors of her sexual prowess if he can get a quality product out of her. Besides, he has nothing to worry about with his daughters. After all, the eldest is married, and the youngest all but engaged.’
The AU where Anne Lister is a construction manager and builds a house for Ann, paid for by her father, John Walker.
What could possibly go wrong? :-)

Summary
Ann Walker has always been an avid reader. But, you see, the problem is that Ann could never see herself in those stories; they were all about a woman falling in love with a strong, handsome man. She’s always wondered if there was something, anything, that would make her heart beat faster, and it was then, on a warm afternoon that she found Helen’s Diary.
Anne Lister was a bitter and lonely woman, even though she'd been married to Mariana for almost 15 years. Writing was the only thing that kept her from going crazy, and that's how she became a very successful writer, publishing The Secret Diary of Helen Foster.
But neither of them knew that their fates would collide and put them at risk.
A slow burn with a happy ending. Lots of angst, drama, dirty secrets, bitter and snappy Anne, sweet and cute Ann, the disgusting tribe and Mariana being Mariana, as usual. You've never read a story like that before, I promise.

For all of you waiting on a chapter from one of my stories, thank you, but for various reasons, I cannot devote the time or energy to posting at this time. I apologize if this is disappointing. While I do not intend on deleting my account, I want to let people know that I may be leaving the unfinished stories as is for the foreseeable future. It seems like there have been other writers posting more recently, so that's a positive thing. I wish you all the best!PM

Summary
AU: This is an alternate version of Anne Lister that is a character introduced in Stealing Time. It is set in medieval England. The character is intersex and the story is written from their POV. I am writing it as the backstory for the character because I think it will help when writing and reading Stealing Time. It could also be a stand alone AU, although it may make make sense if you read Ann Walker's Time Machine and Stealing Time first. Anyway, I have no idea if anyone will want to read it, but here it is. Let me know what you think!
