Comment on From Allies To Lovers

  1. I'm so impressed of how you have written a one shot fanfiction in just...a couple of hours? And also I'm impressed that what inspired you has been my result regarding that funny test! XD By the way I think you described in a very good way the timeline between Jodie and Shu: they started as colleagues/partners (and Jodie was already tired of his bullshit at that time XD), then they became friends and then idiot-Shuichi finally realized that Jodie is God and so they started to date and became a couple.
I was surprised about this sentence in particular:
"since Shuichi breaks things off in order to infiltrate the organisation and Jodie is sure she won’t ever forgive him for dumping her for that woman"
I've asked myself many times how Jodie could have felt when Shuichi dumped her, but of all the options that came in my mind I've never thought that Jodie could have felt like "I will never forgive him". But maybe this is because I think Jodie loves him at the point she can forgive him all the bullshit of this world, so it's just my opinion. I was just surprised that you thought about this possibility :)
Last but not least, let's talk about this part:
"They end up having reconciliatory sex right then and there. It would take them some time to go back to how they were before, but finally, finally, Jodie and Shuichi are certain they are back on track for their own happy ending"
Since I told it also to Cinnamoncountess in her last fanfiction, I will suggest it also to you: can you please send the above mentioned part to Gosho Aoyama? Because that's what we need to see in the next files, not Shu who calls Jodie just to bring him his tablet and write "Asaca Rum" on it XD
Thank you so much for dedicating this story to me! ♥

    1. Thank you so much for your comment! <3

Yes, well, since I'm successfully ignoring everything I should do at the moment, I'm bored to death and therefore able to write... (There it is, I've told you my secret about my writing habits.) As for the inspiration, for me it's usually just there, I don't really have to think about the words when I write - that's how I wrote this in a bit more than an hour... (Thankfully Böckchen is there to call me out on my mistakes, and at the moment I keep her busy with my other story XD )

The thing about Jodie and forgiveness is that, as we all know, she'd forgive Shuichi everything. But I think in that moment - when he puts the case above her (something she would do as well if the tables were turned) and a part of that is because another woman is involved - she is hurt and heartbroken and bitter (because hasn't life thrown enough in her way by now) and she just can't stand it and it makes her angry and of course she's sure she won't forgive him - like ever. But deep down she knows that she's already forgiven him - she just can't admit it to herself at the moment because then she would have to deal with the emotional pain of their separation... At least that's my take on it.

Unfortunately I don't think Gosho Aoyama listens to me... We'll just have to write more fanfiction to make up for the lack of RedStarling material in the manga!
(I totally agree, that scene was so annoying. But, on the plus side, we did get to see them in the same place at all? Because that implies they're interacting even when Conan isn't there to drag them into some case.)

You're welcome. Thank you for the idea!!
