"We'll take a cup of kindness yet for days of auld lang syne."

Happy end of the first year, dear Fandom Games fans and Victors.
Let's review what has happened in the Capitol and in the Arenas in 2015.
The end of January saw the Tumblr Revolution and the secession of part of Wales from the UK to form the country of Fandomia, where our gracious Capitol has created the Fandom Games to appease the people.
The Head Game Maker is hobbit4lyfe, and the three most common Game Makers are realizin-g, trademarknickersoncharm, and. Special guest Game Makers from Round Three were tumb1rprincess and theartofeheheh.
The Training Week at the end of February, leading up to Round One, nearly didn't happen. Some Tributes ended up dropping out and being put back in the pool for Reaping again, and until Xenia Doukas and Charlotte Thornton were Reaped, it was looking like the Games would end up being canceled.
This greatly concerned our Head Game Maker, who had spent about five basically sleepless nights, mostly over one weekend, and countless hours before her regular job, and scribbling notes during spare moments at work, to get all of the information posted for the Tributes and to plan the Arena.
The First Fandom Games started with a bang on March 1st, 2015, and what a wonderful start to the whole thing. With two amateur Game Makers leading the way, nobody expected so much drama and excitement from Tributes who had no idea what they were doing.
The Arena set in a ghost town surrounded by forest was both eerie and beautiful.
The first ever death in the Arena was Charlotte Thornton. It was sad to see her go, after her persisting in trying to survive so long.
It was also disappointing to see Princess Eilonwy and Mickey Smith die. Everyone had high hopes for the two of them.
The Alliance of Pavel Chekhov, Lucy Pevensie, and Alexei Markovic was either the best or the worst Alliance of Round One. It was great to see the cuteness between Pavel and Lucy, and how Alexei saved them from the Weeping Angels. But it all went wrong for them when Alexei started killing everyone.
At that point, it was shocking to see Mr. Chekhov snap and kill both Alexei and Xenia.
The end of April saw the Training Week for Round Two.
We were all curious to see if anything would happen between Sonny and Bess, or between Savannah and the Marquis de Carabas. Sadly, nothing ever did.
Sonny Joon was a fan favorite here in the Capitol, with his crazy antics for studying how to play the Games based on Round One footage, and his fashion trend with the taped-up eyelids.
The Second Fandom Games started on May 1st. With an interesting set of Tributes and a Wonderland-themed Arena, this round had the potential to be great.
But then it fell short, having dragged on for six weeks.
It was shocking to have two underdogs win in a row, with Bess Marvin winning this time.
The Third Fandom Games was originally going to start in July 2015, but due to scheduling conflicts, it started on August 1st.
It was really interesting to see angels in the Arena.
The two Capitol fan favorite Alliances were Dagny, Dave, and Soren, and Spencer, Agent DiNozzo, Ryan, the Doctor, and Magnus.
There were so many exciting moments involving these Alliances, like the parts in Blackmoor Manor, the Beech Hill Museum, Castle Finster, the Golden Gardenia, Shadow Ranch, Wickford Castle, the safe house, and the Drew home.
Everyone was expecting the sweet Eighth Doctor to win, but in a shocking twist at the last second, it was Magnus who won.
The Fourth Fandom Games started October 1st, and it started out strong.
The Arena was set on Isla Nublar, and things started out exciting with the Master helping to release the Indominous rex into the Arena. It was exciting to see the Tributes try to survive not just each other, but the dinosaurs.
The ending for the Fourth Round was as shocking and as sad as the Third Round, with Spock and Thanos giving themselves up so that Rose could win. This month, the Fifth Fandom Games started.
I don't want to give away too much, since it will still be ongoing into the new year.
But the most shocking part of the round so far was the Christmas Truce gone wrong.
This has been a special commentary from Caesar Flickerman. May the Odds be Ever in Your Favor into the New Year.
