Sarah sighed. “So much for Hollywood.”
Hanna sidled up beside her. “May as well make the most of this.”
They wore the dresses they bought to look nice for auditions: Sarah in blue, Hanna in red. They walked down the beach, with Hanna tugging along camera and tripod, looking gorgeous and feeling ridiculous.
“This looks like a good spot,” said Hanna, stopping. She set up her camera while Sarah watched the sea.
“Time for your debut, Sarah!” Hanna laughed. Sarah went out into the sea, with every shot a little deeper. She felt the waves washing her dreams behind her.
