Chapter Text
The theatre was embellished by red, white and blue stripes with a touch of white stars. Kaoru Seta did not know how they celebrated Patriotic...no Thanksgiving Day in America but she had to wonder. Did they work on that day?
Sat on her chair and donning an outfit more approriate for 18th Century America, Kaoru scanned her script one more time. She had memorised all her lines by now- how many times had she played ‘Thomas Jefferson’ in the Japanese production of Hamilton. But it never hurt to check your lines one more time before the start of every show. And tonight was a special night. Hamilton on Thanksgiving. Again, Kaoru wasn’t sure on the specifics. If this was the right play for a ‘Thanksgiving’ Day. From what she remembered of American history, Hamilton felt more appropriate for ‘Independence Day.’
“Kaochan, are you almost ready.” Came the voice of her fellow Hamilton star Chisato-playing the man himself “We need to be on stage to ‘forgive’ the Turkey”
“Why of course” Kaoru said in reply, ignoring that dumb nickname “The stage needs it’s main star.
Kaoru followed Chisato outside the door. Taking her lead the two took a left down the artificially lit hallway where they came upon a bird in a cage. Large, black and fluffy and holding her head up in pride. Kaoru could only presume this was the ‘Turkey’ to be forgiven. One of America’s many strange ceremonies. On a night where everyone was eating Turkeys they always tried to let one go uneaten. Though one wondered what the spared Turkey would have thought- seeing other Turkeys roasted and on the table while they were a survivor. It was, truly a drama worthy of Caesar.
And as Kaoru stared at the Turkey she couldn’t help but be taken in by it’s majesty. There was something about the eyes. Or perhaps how the Turkey looked stern even while trapped in a small cage. Kaoru took a step forward-reaching out its hand to touch.
“KAOCHAN DON’T!”
“EEEEK”
Kaoru dropped in shock as Turkey squawked and tried to bite her fingers, ruffling her wings in rage. She could see the Turkey biting at the cage as if it wanted to tear through the mesh just to gouge out Kaoru’s eyes. Shaking in fear, Kaoru did not notice the spreading warmth in her pants not the stream flowing from her panties downwards onto her butt and the floor.
“Kaochan, you, you.”
Her heart still beating Kaoru took a look down and recoiled in embarrassment. She saw the patch, the pee, the puddle. Her fear turned to humiliation as she realised she had peed herself.
“Kaochan” Chisato giggled “I did warn you not to touch Levia. He is quite a biter”
“You-you could have told me that earlier” Kaoru blustered, no longer in character, as she tossed an accusing stare towards Chisato.
“But I did. Even the director said so” Chisato said matter-of-factedly as the serial killer bird calmed down “You just never listened. Come on, let’s clean you up. You need a new costume before the show”
The night went on and at the ‘forgiving’ ceremony Kaoru stood as far away from the Turkey as possible. She could swear Levia was glaring at her the entire time.
