BTW, I started writing this before Elon Musk bought twitter…. And before the Will Smith slap (this comment will make sense at a certain point; I guess chalk the lack of drama in the fic to the fact that Stede is white?)

Also, and this is important, if you do a ‘character makes a vid of them covering another artists song and then that artist sees and falls in love’ plot is it kind of a YOI AU?
