"George, are you sure you can handle it?" Ron looked at his brother who was tidying his shop carefully, "I can stay a little longer if you need."
George shook his head, patting him on the shoulder, "I'm pretty sure Hermione is waiting for you." He raised an eyebrow as Ron hit him on the arm.
"Oh, please, shut up." He mumbled and George chuckled, leading him to the door.
"See you tomorrow. Don't be late, please." George begged as Ron gave him a little hug and left.
He Apparated home after a few seconds and put the hands on his pockets, "Fuck! Fuck! My keys!"
He knocked and waited a few minutes before he saw Hermione's face right in front of him, "Hey, sorry. I forgot my keys this morning."
She shook her head and moved to the side to let him enter, then left a kiss on his lips and went to the kitchen, "How was work?" She asked as he followed her.
"Fine. It's just... Sometimes there are too many people. Too many kids. They drive me crazy."
Hermione felt her heart split up in two, "Oh." She put a plate in front of him as he sat down and started to eat.
"Are you okay?" He asked, noticing her lost look.
"Yes." She said, giving him a weak smile but he grabbed her hand.
She tried to push him away but he got up and stepped closer, "I'm not. I'm just tired."
"Did you eat? Do you want to go to bed?" He gave her a worried look and she couldn't help but let out a small giggle. "You're scaring me."
She shook her head, "I'm fine really. Just tired. I'm going to bed, join me when you're done."
He followed her as she made her way to their bedroom, "What is it?"
"What?" She turned around and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath.
Just tell him already, she thought.
He placed his arms around her and hugged her from behind, she smiled and turned around to face him.
"I love you." He kissed her forehead.
"I love you too." She said.
They laid in bed, holding each other tightly, until she sat down and looked at him, "Do you... Do you like James?"
He looked at her confused, "What? Of course I do! It's my nephew! Look, if he told you I taught him some bad words, I'm sorry alright?-"
She laughed and shook her head, "It's not that, although you shouldn't have done it. I just... You are really good at dealing with him."
"Hermione, I work in a joke shop in Diagon Alley. Do you know how many kids do I have to deal with every minute of my life?" He sat down too.
"Right, sorry." She looked down, "You are probably tired of them."
"Not really, I love kids. I thought you knew." He giggled as she looked at him, surprised.
"You do?" She sat on his lap and smiled as he put his hands on her waist and she put her arms around his neck.
"Honey, do you have... Your period? You were acting all weird just now!" He looked at her confused as she kissed him angrily and smiled more.
"Do you like kids, Ron?" She asked again between kisses and he nodded quickly.
She pulled away, "Good, because we're about to have one."
He froze. Everything froze. He looked at her in the eyes as he let some tears fall down his cheeks. He didn't move, for a good amount of time. Hermione looked at him, trying to define his expressions.
"Y-Y-Y-You're pregnant?" He asked after ten minutes, his voice was shaking like his hands and the rest of his body.
She nodded and started sobbing as he put a shaky hand on her belly.
"O-Our baby is in there?" She nodded again.
He kissed her, going up and down all her face as she laughed.
"Ron, Ron, stop it!" She said as he kept kissing every inch of her face.
He left one last kiss on her lips and pulled away.
He looked at her belly again, "I-I have no words. Fuck, I'm the worst at these situations. You made me the happiest man alive, Hermione. I can't believe our baby is in there."
She smiled and wiped off a few tears from his face, "I thought you didn't want one."
His eyes opened widely, "Are you mad? Are you completely insane? We are having a baby! Fuck! I want to scream it at the world."
"I'm glad I made you happy." She squeezed his hand, which was still shaking.
"You always make me happy, every day. Tonight, you just made me even happier. Fuck, a baby! Can you believe it? We're having a baby!" He grinned and lowered himself to her belly, he pressed his lips on it.
"Hey, hey baby. It's dad here," Hermione smiled, trying to hold back sobs, "Merlin's sake, I'm already in love with you."
Hermione rubbed his hair, "Ron, it's too soon for that."
"I don't care, I'm having a fucking baby!" He stood up and opened the window, "My wife's pregnant! I'm going to be a dad!" He yelled and then closed the window again, taking a deep breath.
"Ron! Would you stop it?"
Ron lifted her and kissed her softly, "I love you. I love you so much. I love you. I love you. I'm so in love with you. Thank you for this."
He pulled away and started sobbing, she put her hands on his cheeks.
"Are you okay?"
He nodded, "Yeah, totally. More than ever. I just... am i dreaming?"
They both chuckled and Hermione shook her head, "No, you are not."
"I'm so in love with you." He pressed his lips to hers once more, "I'm pretty sure the baby is going to look like you. I wish they do. When do we know if it's a boy or a girl?" He lowered again and put his head on her belly.
"It's too soon, Ron."
"What is going to happen to you? I mean... You will be okay, won't you?" He squeezed her hand.
"Well, I'll have lots of bad days, crumbs, backache, my belly will be like a balloon. I'll probably be stressed, tired, I'll be taking a bunch of days off-"
"I'll take care of you, you know that right?"
"I know, that's why I'm not scared."
