Summary
Fresh out of a short lived relationship, stuck in a job that she hates and with parents that somehow manage to be overbearing and distant, Beatrice is having a rough time of things.
The fact that it's almost Christmas certainly doesn't help matters.
But a chance encounter with an old friend leads to an invitation to spend the holiday in a sleepy little town that she had never even heard of.
She certainly wasn't looking for the true meaning of Christmas or anything like that.
