Chapter Text
Hinata kisses his partner deeply, wrapping his arms around his waist. Komaeda hums in approval, shoving him against the wall of his cottage, trailing his fingers down the brunet's chest.
"Which dessert did you enjoy better, Hinata-kun?" Komaeda whispers, "Seeing as you opted to focus on the coffee I brought rather than the delicious gummy creatures you just so happened to have, I'd say this 'dessert' is your preference."
"Do you always babble when someone is trying to make out with you?" Hinata growls, to which Komaeda shrugs.
The brunet tries to ignore the growing pain of guilt in his stomach as he tries to focus on Komaeda. His entire body feels like it's on fire-who knew someone as fucked as Komaeda could turn him on so much.
"Your mind is wandering, Reserve, darling. I want you to focus only on me."
Ever since getting out of the Funhouse, Hinata's lover (was that the right word for their peculiar relationship during the killing game?)had been acting strange. He had been snippy and judgemental towards all of the Ultimates after the Final Dead Room and quite hateful to Hinata, resulting in a couple of rounds of angry sex (but in his defence, Komaeda had apologized profusely in the morning), but that's life.
The remaining survivors were terrified that Komaeda would try to kill again or do something even worse, so they desired to lock him up until they figured out the way out of here. So they had asked Hinata to drug his food so that he would be easy to restrain.
The Reserve feels incredibly guilty for tricking his. . .whatever this badly, but surely he'd understand in the long run, right?
"Are you feeling alright?" Hinata asks in a whisper, "Still feel normal?"
Komaeda kisses his forehead, taking his hand and leading him over to the bed. "Fitter than a fiddle, Hinata. But what about you?" He cutely tilts his head to the side, eyes wide and curious, "Do you still feel normal?"
"If you mean am I turned on, then yes."
'Any moment now, he'll start to falter. . .'
Hinata's vision briefly blurs, and he takes a moment to steady himself, gripping Komaeda's shoulders.
"Is something wrong, Hinata-kun?"
"Y-Yeah, just give me a second."
'Any minute, Ko's eyes will start to droop, and the others will be here to take him away. . .But why do I feel so awful? That's not what's supposed to happen. . .'
Komaeda squeezes his hand. "Do you feel okay? Perhaps you feel a little. . .strange?"
Hinata is confused for a moment. And then his eyes widen in realization.
"You. . ," He gasps, "What did you do to me?!"
Komaeda's eyes narrow. "Don't think I didn't know about you guys' little plan to have you drug me. You didn't even touch the gummy creatures, but I ate plenty, right, aha! But how sad, I'm fine."
"H-How?"
"Same way I've made quarters disappear when I was younger. But you sure enjoyed the coffee, didn't you?"
Hinata's body sways, and he groans. "I. . .So sleepy. . ."
Komaeda smiles as he stands, scooping Hinata up with surprising strength and heading towards the door. "You rest. I've got to get you out of here before the final show! I'm so excited to hear what you think!"
That's the last thing Hinata registers before he passes out.
