Medrak reached into the oven bare-scaled, and withdrew the searing hot metal of the iron cask he had filled with silver to melt. Upon seeing it, he smiled in satisfaction. The silver had liquified perfectly.
He turned to the rough mold of a circlet he had laid out on the table, and slowly poured the molten precious metal into it. Several drops landed outside of the mold, which the cleric brushed into his palm and gently placed back in the bucket once he had finished pouring. He returned the cask to the oven and began to cool the metal gently.
