Nile turns to where Joe is sketching on the couch beside her, hoping to get some enlightenment. Pausing to glance up at Nile Joe shrugs. “Don’t look at me. My heart can be an ornery old man at times,” he remarks blithely, whining when his ear is flicked in retaliation. Rolling her eyes, Nile turns back to her music and sketch. The same man who insists on having the latest sniper rifle model refuses to listen to music on an iPhone. Honestly she shouldn’t be surprised anymore.
