Bed of Blood

Work Text:

Jimin had his fair share of one-night stands, of which some went well and some went horrible. He’s neither really fond of them because you can never say if it is going to turn out well but he’s also not against them because they have served their purpose well enough when he was horny and felt like he’d just combust if he didn’t have sex. That’s why his opinions on one-night stands very. If there is one constant when it comes to one-night stands, is that each time Jimin intends on taking home the hottest guy he has ever seen and would give him an excellent orgasm. That combination obviously isn’t always possible but on some days Jimin can tell just by looking at someone that he will be great.

This night has been a night where Jimin is fairly horny and is free the next day, so he decided to go to a club impulsively with Seokjin. Drinking had happened and so had flirting that hadn’t lead to much other than dancing on the dancefloor and getting some free drinks, and it had frustrated Jimin. The real turn of events happened when Jimin had met eyes with him, a dark-haired stranger on the other side of the club.

Now, Jimin usually isn’t too shy to approach men he likes when he notices he has to be the one to make the first move, but this one is different. This one made him shudder just with one look and had made him so incredibly horny. If Jimin had to tell the story now, he couldn’t. Even the next morning it will be impossible for him to recall how exactly he landed in the stranger’s arms and then later in his own bed with the stranger balls-deep inside him.

The stranger – Jungkook, if Jimin remembers correctly but he can’t be too sure with how deep the man is inside him – is a dream. Over the course of the night Jimin had grown even hornier, had probably grinded a lot against Jungkook in the club and had maybe tried to suck him off while he was driving them to Jimin’s.

Usually Jimin doesn’t take them to his apartment. After some fiascos, Jimin doesn’t like taking strangers to his apartment anymore but Jungkook had to suggest it only once and Jimin agreed without any hesitation, too eager to get into bed with Jungkook to care about anything else.

Jimin hiccups when Jungkook thrusts into him again, hips relentlessly fucking into Jimin, further burying his cock inside the man. Jungkook has crossed Jimin’s arms over his chest and is keeping them firmly there with one arm, while holding himself up with one arm, draped over Jimin back and fucking into him from behind. As if Jungkook’s strength to hold him up with just one arm isn’t overwhelming enough, it feels as if his cock is growing bigger with each thrust, filling Jimin until he feels like he’s going to burst.

Jimin is crying. Hot tears rolling down his cheeks, and he wants to reach back with both hands to stop Jungkook’s hips from moving, wants to beg Jungkook to stop, to take it slow, but he doesn’t. It feels too good. The way he’s so full, feeling Jungkook’s cock drag against his walls, the burn of his abused hole; he loves it all too much to make Jungkook stop. He even wants more of it, even after this being their second round.

Jungkook pants hotly against Jimin’s ear, grunts with each thrust, the noise making Jimin’s gut coil. Jimin didn’t know that anyone could sound so hot making noises like that but he is quite weak for the way Jungkook sounds. Trying to meet Jungkook’s thrusts midway, Jimin attempts to push his hips back because despite Jungkook ramming into Jimin at an unforgiving pace, Jimin can’t get enough. The high, throaty moans that escape his lips with each exhale are just another evidence of it.

Jimin cries out when Jungkook hits his prostrate dead-on, sending tingles down his legs, gut tightening. Looking down, Jimin feels something akin to shame when he sees how his cock is curled against his abdomen, leaking so much cum that one would say he had already come were it not for how hard it is. And he feels immodest when he sees his cock flap in the air.

His eyes shift from his cock to Jungkook’s, or more like the outline of Jungkook’s cock inside Jimin. He whimpers when he sees Jungkook’s cock protrude from his stomach, it forming a noticeable bulge. Though Jimin feels how big Jungkook is, he had been unaware to how big he really is, Jungkook having told Jimin he doesn’t do missionary and had pushed Jimin onto his hands and knees as soon as they were on Jimin’s bed.

An agonizing and consuming urge fills Jimin, and he feels as if he’ll combust if he doesn’t touch the bulge, doesn’t feel for himself how big Jungkook’s cock is. Jungkook is only holding him with one arm. Jimin should be able to get one hand free and touch his lower stomach but it doesn’t seem to be as easy as Jimin assumed it would be, wriggling in Jungkook’s arm, more and more the longer it takes but he’s unable to free himself. Jungkook doesn’t even seem to notice Jimin’s struggle, continuing to thrust into Jimin and grunting his ear. Only when Jimin whimpers, does Jungkook’s pace falter, coming to a slow halt.

“What’s wrong?” Jungkook asks in a husky voice, pressing a kiss below Jimin’s ear.

It sends shivers down Jimin’s spine, and were it not for the fact that Jungkook’s kisses feel loving, then Jimin surely would be too scared to speak up. “W-want to free my hand.”

Jungkook tightens his grip around Jimin’s upper body, presses his nose against the side of Jimin’s neck, inhaling deeply, and gyrates his hips, head of Jungkook’s cock rubbing right against Jimin’s prostate. Jimin gasps, writhing in Jungkook’s arm.

Jimin hadn’t expected Jungkook to ask about that and is now at a loss for words. He doesn’t want to say out loud what he was about to do, how much he loves how big Jungkook is.

Why?” Jungkook repeats, this time growling.

Jimin mewls, his cock twitching and leaking a few drops of cum.

“Wan-want to touch my stomach. Feel your cock,” Jimin admits. Now he’s happy that Jungkook is fucking him from behind and that there’s no mirror in front of them. That way Jungkook can’t see the shame and embarrassment on his face.

Jungkook straightens his back, taking Jimin with him until he’s basically sitting on Junhkook's lap, right on his cock. With his left arm still holding Jimin, Jungkook leads his right hand to Jimin’s lower stomach, touching right where he can feel the bulge of his cock. Jimin’s breathing fastens, shame making his gut coil. But Jungkook’s hand on his stomach also feels good, so he isn’t going to complain.

“You’re quite the cockslut, aren’t you?” Jungkook breathes into Jimin’s ear, hand caressing Jimin’s lower stomach. Jimin whimpers, biting on his lower lip. “Do you like how big my cock is?”

Jimin nods, hips automatically fucking himself back on Jungkook’s cock to see it move inside him.

“Look at you,” Jungkook whispers and sucks Jimin’s earlobe into his mouth before releasing it, “So desperate for cock although I’m already balls-deep inside you.”

“Please,” Jimin begs, “Wanna touch.”

“All right,” Jungkook agrees, letting go off Jimin’s arms. Jimin would’ve fallen face first onto the mattress were it not for Jungkook holding onto his upper arm.

The shock is only there for one second before Jimin’s attention is brought back to Jungkook’s cock. Now that Jimin is free to touch the bulge, the spot where Jungkook’s cock so beautifully protrudes, Jimin is a bit hesitant, mostly bashful. He keeps his eyes on the bulge as Jungkook waits patiently, hand slowly coming up to rest on his stomach and finally feel it.

Jimin gasps, the sensation a bit overwhelming. He presses into his stomach and keens when he feels the slight resistance Jungkook’s cock offers, feels more of it against his hand. An embarrassing squeal slips from his lips when Jungkook starts thrusting into him again. Jimin throws his head back and rests it on Jungkook’s shoulder, grabbing Jungkook’s wrist to have something to hold onto. He just lets himself go then, too close to his orgasm to care about being careful of the stranger he has in his bed. He’s too preoccupied with the cock inside him and the way it makes him feel to think of not being vulnerable in front of Jungkook.

With one final thrust against Jimin’s prostate, his orgasm washes over him. It makes him moan loudly, his body shaking and toes curling from the pleasure as Jungkook comes inside him. Jungkook lets go of Jimin who lets himself fall onto the bed, exhausted and panting, but when ten minutes later Jungkook wraps his hand around Jimin’s cock and starts pumping, he doesn’t protest, just faces Jungkook and pulls him down for a kiss. Jungkook smiles and breathes into his mouth.

Jungkook isn’t there the next morning. Usually Jimin isn’t surprised when one of the few one-night stands he brings home isn’t there the next morning. He even personally sees to it they leave his apartment after having sex and putting their clothes on but he’s sure Jungkook had still been there when he fell asleep. He’s convinced Jungkook had wrapped his arms around Jimin and cuddled him and Jimin had let him, and in hindsight, a small part of Jimin had hoped last night Jungkook would still be there the next morning. But he’s not and there’s also nowhere a note to be found that coincidentally would have Jungkook’s number on it.

Jungkook obviously didn’t want to meet Jimin again so Jimin tells himself not to waste any time on the man and just go on with the day but that’s hard when all he can do is think about the man and last night, the way Jungkook touched and fucked him.

“Stop,” Jimin chastises himself once he feels his cock stir at the dirty thoughts of the night before. The last thing he needs right now is getting hard again, still too exhausted from the three rounds with Jungkook. He still has to finish showering.

He doesn’t even know why he’s – still – so horny. It hadn’t been that long since the last time he has had sex but for some reason Jungkook doesn’t want to leave his mind. Maybe it’s also because the man made Jimin let himself loose. Jungkook didn’t even have to say anything and Jimin almost spilled all of his dirty secrets and kinks to him, ready to beg Jungkook to stay all night and do all the things Jimin liked to him, but miraculously had held back.

Jimin slaps himself on the cheek when he notices that he’s thinking about last night again and turns his back to the water jet, the water pouring down his back to his ass. He’s reminded of how much Jungkook came inside him, how deep he did so, and blushes once again.

Suppressing a whine, Jimin lathers his ass with soap, careful of disturbing his aching hole. Slowly, Jimin slips his fingers between his cheeks, cleaning away the remainders of lube and Jungkook’s cum, slipping two fingers inside slowly to thoroughly clean himself. When he feels no resistance, he adds another and a fourth, breathing speeding up the more he notices how loose he is. He pulls them out abruptly after his hole stings too much, leaning his forehead against the wall and cursing under his breath. The rest of his shower is done under cold water and fast so he doesn’t get any nasty thoughts again.

While eating a light brunch, Jimin has to tell Seokjin everything that happened the night before he goes crazy thinking about it.

“Did you just seriously say three rounds or did I mishear?”

“Yes, three rounds,” Jimin grits out. Now that his friend is making him say it out loud, he feels even more embarrassed but at least Seokjin isn’t there to see his red face.

“I don’t knooooow,” Jimin says, voice high due to his embarrassment. “It just happened. It was like I just couldn’t stop. I just wanted to go on and on. At first I couldn’t even decide whether I wanted suck his dick or have it up my ass or both at the same time.”

“Was he some type of incubus that made you a sex addict?” Jin asks, sounding indignant after hearing Jimin’s words, which doesn’t help Jimin’s embarrassment at all.

“Who knows. All I know is he wasn’t earthly. It literally felt like his dick kept growing in me.”

Jin scoffs. “That’s scary. Really scary.”

“But so good,” Jimin moans, feeling his hole clench at the memory.

“Ew, shut up. When are you coming over?”

“I’ll be on my way soon. Just let me finish eating.”

Jimin is about to hang up when Seokjin’s speaks up again. “Hey, but if he really was magical, could he impregnate you?”

Jimin snorts, bending over as he starts laughing, Seokjin’s loud laughter only making him laugh harder.

“I can’t believe I did that,” Jimin whines and then harder when he hears Seokjin laugh, “Hyuuuuung, stop laughing.”

“I-it’s too funny n-not to,” Seokjin stutters in between laughter. His attempt to stop only ends up with him spluttering a second later.

“It’s embarrassing,” Jimin protests.

“Embarrassing for you but funny to me,” Seokjin corrects. “Come on, you would be laughing just as much as me if in your stead I had vomited all over my hot one-night stand.”

Jimin groans when the still lively memory of him vomiting over his hot one-night stand springs into his mind again. He hadn’t even drank that much alcohol so it couldn’t be that, and it was all going well. From the point of them hailing a taxi to them stumbling into the guy’s bedroom while pulling at each other clothes to take them off. Somewhere in between of taking off their clothes and Jimin straddling the guy’s hips after he had laid down on the bed, Jimin had suddenly started feeling nauseous before he threw up right on the hot guy’s very sexy six-pack.

Truth to be told, Jimin had been feeling nausea a lot of times over the course of the past days. It had been little at first but has been getting worse and worse, hitting him out of nowhere at random times during the day. On top of that, he has cramps sometimes too.

“I’m still feeling sick,” Jimin notes, looking at the empty cup of tea next to him. It did little to tone down the nausea but at least it helped.

“Maybe you should go to the doctor,” Seokjin says, finally having stopped laughing. “You’ve been putting it off for too long.”

“I’ll be fine.”

As a matter of fact, Jimin does not end up fine. Though the cramps go away, the nausea gets worse, riding the bus, train or cars making it only worse. He has bad heartburn, and the worsening fatigue only worsens his mood swings. Sleeping through is impossible and that’s why getting up in the morning is harder. It doesn’t help that he has this sudden aversion against some foods, even their smells just making him gag.

And then he has those really mean thoughts. Jimin is kind and patient. He tries his hardest to be understanding of everyone, even during fights where he’s being treated unfairly. He’s no saint. He does lose his temper and wishes people bad from time to time but he also immediately feels guilty and asks for forgiveness from whoever is responsible for these things. But lately he has been feeling particularly mean.

At the slightest inconvenience that is caused by others, events that Jimin usually would’ve brushed off with a smile in the past, Jimin is close to snapping. His usual bright smile is now replaced by a forced one and the “it’s no problem” is replaced by “be more careful” or a bit more respectful version if it’s a sunbae he’s dealing with.

The last straw is when he snaps at Seokjin in the middle of the supermarket simply because the man pokes his protruding stomach and makes a joke about him gaining weight.

“Can you not?” Jimin almost yells at the top of his lungs.

That’s the moment he should be feelings bad now. He just not only yelled at his hyung but also his best friend. He should be feeling awful and beg him for forgiveness, but for some reason, he just doesn’t care. No. He feels his anger is valid, and it may be but is his outburst?

“Woah,” Seokjin breathes, disbelieving, and that does make Jimin a bit sheepish. “Look at you yelling at me like that.”

Jimin averts his eyes and plays with his sleeves. “Don’t touch my stomach,” Jimin mumbles with a pout, and he knows he doesn’t sound apologetic at all but he can’t make himself do so yet. “I hate it.”

Seokjin scoffs and rolls his eyes, picking up the nearest thing, which happens to be a can of tuna, and raises it in the air, pretending to be throwing it at Jimin. “Look at you being this shameless to your hyung. You should be apologizing.”

Jimin lips automatically jut out in a pout, frowning. “Sorry.”

Seokjin grumbles under his breath and glares half-heartedly at Jimin but puts the can away and folds his arms over his chest. “What’s wrong?”

Sighing, Jimin finally has started feeling some of the remorse that should’ve come instantly after yelling. “I don’t know. My body is still weird and I don’t know why my stomach is getting bigger. My diet is normal, like I always eat and I’m also going to the gym regularly, even if I slack off at times.”

“You should see a doctor,” Seokjin says, voice getting softer. “You’re having cramps all the time and are nauseous and your stomach is growing although you’re saying your diet is as always. That’s not normal.”

“I will. Tomorrow. I promise,” Jimin reassures and then looks at Seokjin through his eyelashes, gripping the hem of his jacket nervously. “Hyung, I’m sorry. Really. I mean it.”

Seokjin snorts and slaps his hands away but then wraps an arm around his shoulder and leads the cart to the register with one hand. “Just go to the doctor.”

“I will.”

They get their groceries and walk together until they have to say goodbye because they have to take a different direction. Jimin can’t wait to get home and just lay down, bones feeling heavy from having worked the whole day and finally eat because he’s hungry. So hungry. At least he doesn’t have to cook something. There is leftover meat from the day before that he can heat up, cook some ramen and make a bit of rice, and the feast will be ready. Should he order some more meat? He feels like eating beef. Or maybe pork belly.

He’s still debating over whether to order some chicken maybe when someone stands right in front of him, blocking his way. He stumbles back when he almost walks into the person, annoyance rising in him at the fact that the man won’t look where he’s walking. Sending the man a glare, Jimin inhales to calm himself down and steps to the side to go on his way but the man steps in his way again.

“Where to, pretty one?” the man asks, folds his arms over his chest and smiles at Jimin impishly.

Jimin scoffs and smiles disbelieving. He can feel something ugly boiling up his insides but after the outburst from earlier, he just swallows it down and steps to the side again to walk past the man, hoping this time he’ll get the hint. The man doesn’t but instead of stopping Jimin, he starts walking by his side. That unnerves Jimin a little, since it’s late and the streets are empty. His apartment is also close but that doesn’t mean that’s a good thing. The man could follow him there and he doesn’t want to lead a man like this one to his apartment.

“Can you leave?” Jimin says and stops walking, facing the man.

The man makes a show of looking left and right and puts on an innocent mask. “I’m just walking.”

“Don’t walk in the same direction as me.”

“Maybe you’re walking in the same direction as me.”

Jimin scoffs again but decides not to argue any further but to walk on the other side of the street and take a detour to his apartment. The annoyance only grows bigger until it has him almost shaking so he really hopes the man won’t follow him again, unsure what he’ll do if he does.

Jimin is in the middle of the road when he hears the footsteps behind him and readies himself to turn around and yell at the man, maybe punch him, but freezes when his ass gets slapped, the man winking at Jimin as he walks past him, and that breaks his patience. One second, he’s still standing in the middle of the road with his groceries spilling from his fallen bags, and next second, he his hands on the collar of the man and has pushed him against the nearest car.

“Feisty,” the man says in the most disgusting voice Jimin has ever heard. It makes his blood boil and makes him growl. Not just scream but growl, like an animal. He lunges forward, bears his teeth and then sinks them into the junction of the man’s shoulder and neck. He puts more force into the bite until he can feel his teeth dig into the man’s skin and a thick fluid is filling his mouth, swallows once and then bites harder, intent on getting a good chunk of flesh out but then he’s hit in the face.

It’s as if he wakes up but instead of his nightmare ending with his eyes opening, it starts. He becomes aware of the situation, finally hears the screams the man is letting out, and becomes aware of himself. Jimin gapes, hands coming up to cover his mouth but pulls them back when they become wet. He gasps when he sees the blood, only then noticing that blood is pouring from the man’s shoulder. Jimin stands there for a moment, glued to the spot, and then he runs. Away from the man and the blood but the taste and smell follow him, cling to him so he runs faster, until he has reached the building and runs up the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator.

Luck seems to be on Jimin’s side this time and he doesn’t meet any of his neighbours as he run into his apartment, immediately running up to the mirror in the hallway to look at himself. A dry sob escapes his lips when he sees the blood around his mouth, on his chin and clothes. Jimin rubs his mouth with his hands and tries wipe the blood away with shaking hands but it has dried by now.

Running into the bathroom, Jimin turns the faucet and splashes his face with water, washing his hands too. When he sees the blood on his shirt in the mirror, he takes it off and tosses it inside the laundry basket, and then freezes.

He drank the man’s blood, Jimin notes, gasping at the realization. He definitely did swallow. Did he only bite the man or did he also bite out some of the flesh? Did he swallow that too? Jimin tries to remember what exactly happened and what he did but it’s all a blur and he can’t make sense of it.

He didn’t. He definitely did not eat that man’s flesh. Or did he?

It’s not the thought that he might have eaten the man’s flesh that horrifies him but the lack of disgust at that thought. By now, he should be so nauseous that he should be vomiting already but there’s no reaction. At the end, that is what makes Jimin open the lid of the toilet, lean over it and stick two fingers deep into his throat. He gags, stomach churning but nothing comes up. He tries it again but fails.

Tears spring into his eyes and he leans away from the toilet, finally accepting defeat. He sits there for a long moment until he’s reminded of the man again and then jumps to his feet.

The man is probably still there, if no one has already heard and called the ambulance, and if no one has then the man might die and that would make Jimin a murderer. Jimin shivers which sets him into motion. He gets a clean shirt from his room and jogs to the front door. He has to save the man. It was just an accident. He never meant to. That’s not what Jimin does. That’s not who Jimin is.

Jimin has his shoes only half on when he rips the door open and pauses. For a second, he believes the man is standing in front of him or maybe his ghost, and he wants revenge, but then he takes a proper look at the man’s face and he sighs. Relief fills him, fresh tears springing into his eyes again, and then he’s running into the Jungkook’s arms, letting his tears fall freely and sobbing. Jimin doesn’t know why he seeks comfort from Jungkook, doesn’t even have it in him to question it, but it feels right.

Thankfully, Jungkook doesn’t question it but leads Jimin inside his apartment and to the living-room, seating Jimin on the couch and sitting beside him as he holds him and lets Jimin cry. No word is said as Jimin cries and shakes and desperately holds onto Jungkook until his sobs subside and Jimin becomes too tired to cry anymore.

“Are you alright?” Jungkook asks once Jimin becomes silent and leans back to look at Jimin’s face.

Jimin sniffles and nods, accepts the tissue Jungkook offers him.

“Are you sure? You cried a lot? Are you dizzy? Or nauseous?”

“N-no. I’m fine,” Jimin assures, finally noting the situation he’s in and lets go of Jungkook, inching away from the man as embarrassment fills him. “What are you doing here?” Jimin asks, finally realizing how odd it is that Jungkook was just outside of his door days after their one-night stand.

Jungkook smiles so brightly at Jimin that it makes his whole face light up, and it takes Jimin off guard. Jimin looks down confused when Jungkook takes his hands into his own and then looks at Jungkook again who is leaning in closer as if he’s about to share a secret.

“Because you have something of mine,” Jungkook whispers, almost sounding choked up.

“I-I don’t understand.”

Jungkook hums and squeezes Jimin’s hands lightly. “More like someone.”

Jungkook casts his eyes towards Jimin’s stomach, Jimin looking at it too as if it has all answers to the secrets of the universe, and looks up again.

Sighing, Jimin removes his hands from Jungkook’s and sits upright. “I don’t get it. What are you saying?”

“Relax,” Jungkook says and then continues. “This might sound weird but just listen to me. You’re pregnant. With my child. The reason you’ve been feeling so unwell lately are symptoms of the pregnancy but heightened because it’s a demonic baby, which is also why you attacked that man earlier like that.”

Jimin waits a moment, trying to process the words, and then bursts out laughing. He can’t help it. He laughs and laughs and looks around the living-room, expecting his friends to jump out from their hiding spots and tease him about how well they pranked him. He stops after a few seconds and wipes his tears, inhaling deeply.

“That was a good one,” Jimin sighs and sits back comfortably. It was all a prank. The man is fine and Jimin didn’t kill him and it was all just a stupid prank.

Jungkook just smiles, knowingly but also amused, as if he’s watching an ignorant child be fascinated by the simplest things.

“I mean it,” Jungkook says and pokes Jimin’s side. “You’re pregnant with my baby.”

“I’m a man, Jungkook. I can’t get pregnant,” Jimin says exasperatedly. After that rollercoaster of emotions, Jimin doesn’t have it in him to deal with this shit.

“Yeah that was before I slipped something into your drink that changed your body and made it possible for you to get pregnant.”

Jimin whips his head around, gaping at Jungkook. “You slipped something into my drink? What the fuck? No wonder I was so… so out of it that night. You fucking psycho.”

Jungkook laughs and shakes his head. “You weren’t out of it because of the drink. That drink did nothing but change your body so you can get pregnant. All that kinky shit was you even if it was a reaction to my true form.”

“To your true form?” Jimin repeats and gets to his feet, walking to the other side of the room so there’s more space between him and Jungkook. Meanwhile Jungkook watches him with a taunting smile. “I think it’s time for you to go.”

“I can’t leave you alone with that child. You just witnessed what he did, what he made you do. Even though you’re his parent, you can’t control him.”

Jimin chuckles humourlessly and shakes his head. How did he manage to get himself into this mess?

“Leave before I call the police.”

Jungkook smiles and gets to his feet, Jimin taking a step back. “I don’t think I can do that. I have to keep my child safe. Others will be lured in by his powers in the later months and you’ll both die if I leave, and I will never allow that to happen.”

Jimin watches Jungkook for a second, sighing when he sees that he is serious. Remembering his phone, Jimin takes it out and starts typing in the police’s number while keeping his eyes on Jungkook. Jungkook smiles, Jimin blinks, and then Jungkook is gone. Jimin blinks repeatedly, eyes flitting from one end of the couch to the other, to the corners of the living-room but Jungkook is nowhere to be seen. He cries out when someone appears right next to him and were it not for Jungkook grabbing him last second, he would’ve fallen to the ground.

“H-how did you-?” Jimin stutters, unable to finish the question.

“That’s just who I am,” Jungkook whispers, smirk present on his face.

“And what would that be?”

“For simplicity’s sake, lets say I’m a demon. That’s what I get called sometimes.”

Jimin pushes Jungkook’s hands away and takes a step away. “Stop shitting me.”

“Well, then, will this do?” Jungkook asks and raises his hand. At first, Jimin doesn’t know what that means, staring intently at the hand, but inhales sharply when he sees the skin turn to a reddish colour and raw, as if it had been burned. As soon as it has come, it also goes away but it’s enough to make Jimin question everything he has been knowing so far. “Is that enough?”

Jimin exhales shakily and grabs his head with both hands. The world spins for a second and then there’s darkness.

Jimin opens his eyes, blinking a couple of times because of the sunlight shining in through the window, feeling calm and well-rested. He doesn’t remember the last time he has slept this well, usually being awoken multiple times because of various reasons. This night had been different though.

The stranger and blood courses through his mind, and then Jungkook and his red hand, and he smiles. What a wild dream it was, a very lively one at that, but at least it had no effect on his sleep and rest. He should get up now though and get ready for work.

Swinging his legs out of bed, he wiggles his toes and thinks how weird it is that he slept in his boxer shorts and a shirt, not remembering when he put them on. That’s when he hears a noise coming from the kitchen and freezes for a second before he runs over, gasping when he sees Jungkook standing there. All the things that happened the night before flood Jimin’s mind, overwhelming him and making his knees buckle but before he can fall, Jungkook is there and holding him up.

“You woke up,” Jungkook says with a smile. “Good morning.”

Jimin pushes him away and steps back a few steps, trying to gather himself. “What are you doing here?”

“Making breakfast. Figured you’d be hungry since the baby overstrained you yesterday.”

Jimin scoffs. Right. That he had completely forgotten about. “Baby?”

Jungkook looks at him with wide eyes and nods. “Yeah. Baby.”

Jimin inhales shakily, feeling a sting in the back of his eyes. “How?”

“Like I said yesterday, I mixed something into your drink that would change your body and make it possible for you to carry a child. A potion from a warlock, to be precise.”

“You what?”

“I’ll assume that’s a rhetorical question,” Jungkook says and goes back to the stove, stirring a spoon in the pot.

“So, you thought it would be okay to fuck with my body and make me pregnant?”

“That doesn’t really phase me. Probably because I’ve seen so much worse but for you this must be pretty bad. Sorry.”

Jungkook looks at Jimin and nods, turning back to the pot. “Yeah. Sorry.”

“Well, if you really are sorry, then get rid of it. Or I’ll just get an abortion.”

Jungkook freezes as soon as Jimin says those words and turns around slowly. He regards Jimin with a look that sends a chill down his spine.

Jungkook is as handsome as ever with his black hair and sharp features but now he's also cold, and it does scare Jimin a little.

“I never want to hear you say that ever again. Understood?” Jungkook says in a low voice.

Jimin gulps, finding it difficult to move but does manage to speak. “You can’t expect me to carry the child of a person I don’t know when I was never even supposed to carry one. Especially not a demon's child. It’s my choice.”

Jungkook chuckles humourlessly, the air around them turning cold. “It’s not your choice. We may have a connection now that you’re carrying my son but he’s my priority, and I’m willing to do anything for him. You have to give birth to this child.”

Jimin blinks, not believing the words he is from the man standing in front of him.

All Jimin expected from a one-night stand is good sex. Okay. More than that. Outstanding sex. Sex that he’ll remember for a lifetime, that will make him limp and feel the pain for at least the next twenty-four hours. And obviously he expected the sex to be with a man handsome enough to steal his breath. Both of these things he got from his last one-night stand, which made the sex quite memorable. What he did not expect from a one-night stand is to get pregnant.

Jimin doesn’t know whether it’s a wise decision to challenge a demon, it most probably isn’t, but he’s also not willing to accept this just like that. “I won’t.”

Jungkook smirks, sinister. “We’ll see about that.” Turning back to the pot, Jungkook adds, “This pregnancy will go by a lot faster than a normal one. By human calculation, you’re already almost three months. You’ll soon have to resign from your work.”

“I won’t do that,” Jimin protests, not believing what Jungkook is saying.

How did Jimin manage to get himself into this situation and with someone as unbearable as Jungkook? How does Jungkook just not understand how wrong all of this is? But then again, he's a demon.

“You’ll do it yourself once you’ll be in your later months. Sit down. Breakfast’s ready.”

“I’m not hungry.”

“You shouldn’t skip meals when you’re pregnant,” a voice behind him chimes in and Jimin flinches, hands coming up to rest on his chest.

It’s man with sharp features that make him look stunningly beautiful and raven black hair. He’s wearing baggy clothes that are many sizes too big on him and he has an innocent smile plastered on his face that usually would make Jimin at ease immediately but after what happened last night, he doubts he can trust anyone, especially someone who appears in his apartment out of nowhere.

“Did I scare you?” the man asks and takes a seat on one of the chairs at the table as Jungkook puts the dishes on it. “Sorry.”

“Don’t scare him again,” Jungkook says in a low voice that sounds all types of dangerous, but the man simply smiles at him brightly, teeth showing and eyes turning into crescents.

“This is Taehyung,” Jungkook introduces the man, taking a seat himself. “He’s a warlock and he’ll be keeping an eye on you and the baby.”

“Warlock?” Jimin mumbles to himself, remembering Jungkook’s words from last night. “You’re the warlock who gave Jungkook that potion to mess with my body.”

Taehyung smiles brightly as if Jimin complimented him on something right now and isn’t furious. “It’s a complicated potion. Not many can do it.”

Jimin scoffs at the pride he senses in Taehyung’s voice and shakes his head. “That’s nothing to be proud of. You shouldn’t be messing with my body. You have no right.”

Taehyung shrugs his shoulder, couldn’t seem any less bothered. “Was supposed to be happen.”

“What do you mean it was supposed to happen?”

“That it was destiny. It was supposed to happen to you or it wouldn’t have.”

“That sounds ridiculous. This is no excuse for you to be this shitty.”

“Come eat,” Jungkook chimes in.

“Fuck you,” Jimin swears, Taehyung choking on the soup and spitting it back out again. Jungkook just stares at him wordlessly. “I’m going to work and when I come back, I want you both gone with a potion on this table that will reverse all this.”

Jungkook’s jaw tightens and Jimin is sure he’s about to warn him again but he doesn’t stay to hear any of it. He goes to his room to change into work clothes, slamming the front door shut on his way out.

Surprisingly, Jimin’s day is as normal as on every other day even if he’s consumed by his thoughts and Seokjin worries over him, urging him again and again to go to a doctor. Jimin wants to confide him in, wants to ask his hyung what to do but only now does Jimin fully realize how surreal the events taking place since last night are.

Is he drunk? Is he imagining it?

It would explain what has been happening to Jimin. Giving it a second thought, the symptoms Jimin is having are symptoms of a pregnancy. He googles the symptoms for the different stages of a pregnancy, and if Jungkook’s words are true and the baby is growing much faster than a normal human baby, then the symptoms do fit the different stages. That would also explain why his tummy is growing although his diet is normal and he has been working out regularly.

Jimin feels sick thinking of all of it.

At the end of his shift, he can’t wait to be back home. The thought that Jungkook and Taehyung might still be there make him nervous but it’s not like he has any other choice. He’s so deep in his thoughts that Jimin doesn’t realize he took the same route home he took last night and ends up in the street where he attacked the man, his fallen groceries all gone by now. Jimin freezes on his spot, eyes fixated on the spot where him and the man stood last night. He never found out what happened to the man.

Was he brought to the hospital? He must have survived it. The bite wasn’t that deep.

No, no. Jimin shakes his head, chuckling nervously. He never bit the man. It must have all been imagination. He’s no monster.

With shaking legs, Jimin walks to the spot on the road where he was standing with the man and turns the flashlight on his phone on to see better in the evening sun. The more time Jimin spends not finding anything, the more relieved he gets. He's about to stop and go to home he sees a brown spot next to the tire of the car. Jimin gasps and stumbles back, starting to shake. That definitely is blood.

Jimin did attack the man. He didn't imagine any of it. The man may be dead by now or has called the police and they're now looking for Jimin. If the baby made him attack a man and maybe kill him this early in his pregnancy, then Jimin doesn't know what else the baby will make him do. What if next time he loses his temper, it's his family and friends that Jimin hurts?

No. That can't happen. Jimin has to get rid of it before it makes him do anything worse. He has to get an appointment with a doctor now.

Turning around, Jimin runs in the opposite direction of his apartment and to the bus station. It will be weird to explain to a doctor that he as a man is pregnant but it might not that weird. Jimin has heard of stories of men being able to get pregnant because they have necessary organs to do so. He can just pass it off as something like this.

Jimin sits anxiously in the bus, feeling like a ticking time bomb. What if the baby knows what Jimin is about to do? Will it fight back? Will it hurt him or the doctor? And what if it's out? How hideous will it be? Jungkook is rather handsome but as he has let Jimin know and shown to him a bit, he has a true form, probably his demon form. Why should his spawn be any different?

Jimin can already see the headlines that he'll make. He'll probably get disowned by his family and shunned by society, maybe get killed by some religious fanatics that think the baby is the antichrist.

Oh my god. What if the baby is the antichrist?

Jimin shakes his head to get rid of the thought and stop himself from becoming even more anxious, and in the worst case scenario, alarm the baby.

As soon as Jimin is out of the bus, he takes the backside of the clinic to enter the building, find it too much of a hassle to walk around the building to the front entrance. He enters the alley that will take him to back of the clinic, fastening his pace when the white building comes into view. Relief floods him at the mere thought of going back to the way his life used to be.

He gasps when he's suddenly pulled to the side. One moment he's scared and in the arms of someone who's face he can't see and next he's nauseous and kneeling hunched over on the ground.

"I told you to wait for me," someone says in the background. Jimin can't recognize who, too dizzy and the ringing in his ears too loud. It feels as if his head is about to burst.

“I couldn’t wait anymore. He almost went inside the hospital.”

“You could’ve held him there for ten seconds so I could open a portal.”

“Just heal him.”

Jimin only feels sick for a few seconds longer and then it’s all gone.

“You okay?”

Jimin looks up, seeing Taehyung squatting next to him, and next to Taehyung is Jungkook, glaring at him. Once he sees that Jimin feels better, he grabs Jimin by his upper arm and pulls him to his feet.

“What the hell were you thinking?” Jungkook asks through gritted teeth, panting hard.

Jimin pushes his hands away and takes a few steps back, Jungkook looking at his every move with hawk eyes. He would like for it to be an act of anger but, to his dismay, there’s more fear involved. “How did you know where I was?”

Jungkook smirks but it only looks sinister. “Someone told me.”

“Someone told you?”

Jungkook nods.

“Did you hire someone to follow me around?” Jimin asks incredulously, taking a step towards Jungkook and forgetting his fear for a moment.

“I don’t have to hire anyone. I just have to give an order and there’ll be millions of creatures begging to let them to do it.”

Jimin inhales sharply at Jungkook’s choice of words. “Creatures?”

“Don’t concern yourself with that,” Jungkook says and takes a step towards Jimin, using his height to frighten Jimin. “I told you, if you even think of killing my son I will not hesitate to do take all means necessary to save him. You can decide whether you want to live a normal life the next month before you have to be watched twenty-four-seven or if you want to be locked into a room from this moment on.”

Jimin wants to protest. He wants to scream and yell at Jungkook and tell him that he can’t do that but as Jungkook has pointed out, it’s not like he can do anything. If Jungkook’s words weren’t enough, then Jungkook’s latest performance of power definitely served as a wake-up call. There is nothing Jimin can do, and that’s just confirmed when he sees the warning look Taehyung is giving him.

Jimin still wants to scream but his legs give out and everything turns black.

When Jimin wakes up it takes him a while to notice the roaring headache he has, too busy trying to remember the dream he had. The only thing he can remember from it is the comfort he felt and that someone was there. Jimin groans, hands coming up to grab his head as he gives up on trying to remember the dream and tries to sit up.

“You’re awake,” a voice chimes from his right. It’s Taehyung sitting on a chair that usually isn’t Jimin’s room or his apartment. Taehyung must have brought it.

Taehyung is watching Jimin with the corners of his lips slightly raised and brightly shining eyes, and his fancy, coloured suit makes it seem as if he’s going to a party.

“Are you finally leaving?”

Taehyung’s jaw falls and he puts a hand on his chest, tone affronted, “This is what I get after helping you. Okay.”

“Help? Did you get this thing out of me?” Jimin asks, wincing when a piercing pain shoots through his head from the rise of his voice.

“Yah!” Taehyung whisper yells and looks at the door nervously and then back at Jimin. “Don’t let him hear you.”

Jimin scoffs. “Are you even too afraid to say his name?”

“He’ll know when you do. That’s how you can call him when you need something.”

“He has his lackeys apparently everywhere anyway so what does it matter?” Jimin huffs, pulling the blanket away so he can get himself a glass of water.

Taehyung snaps his fingers, making Jimin scream when a glass of water appears in front of him out nowhere. He watches the glass warily.

“Do you think I’d have the nerve to hurt you and kill Jungkook’s child? Just take it.”

Sighing, Jimin takes the glass and empties it one go.

“You’ll feel better soon. Those are the side-effects of travelling with Jungkook. My magic can’t help too much with his powers.”

“Is he some kind of super demon or why is he so powerful?” Jimin asks, feeling better after drinking the water but now he’s getting annoyed.

If it wasn’t bad enough to be impregnated by a demon, it actually had to be a really powerful one on top of that.

“You could say that. As a high warlock there aren’t many things I have to fear in this world but if there is one, then it’s Jungkook. And you should too”

“Well, since I’m carrying his child, I guess I’m safe.”

“Yeah but for how long?” Taehyung asks and leans closer to Jimin. “And just because you’re safe, doesn’t mean your family and friends are.”

Jimin gulps, breathing out a shuddering breath when he thinks of how reckless he has been in front of Jungkook.

“He may have been lenient with you for now but he’s still him. Don’t anger him. I can’t promise that your bond with him will keep you safe. You must be hungry. You should eat.”

Jimin blinks from the sudden change of topic, almost falling off the bed when a tray full of different dishes appears in front of him on the bed. Jimin wants to refuse but after smelling the delicious dishes, his stomach growls loudly. It’s better to just accept his fate and eat.

“What’s this bond you two always mention?” Jimin asks he picks up the chopsticks and starts eating.

Taehyung raises his eyebrows and turns the chair away from him, standing up and going to the bookshelf Jimin has in his room. “Just… You know,” Taehyung mumbles as he flips through a book.

“No, I don’t. That’s why I’m asking.”

Taehyung sighs and sits back on the chair with the book still in his hands. “I may as well tell you. If someone like Jungkook wants to procreate, especially with a human being, then he has to breathe a part of his soul into you to create the child. It doesn’t just work with his sperm. Then it would be just a demon and not half-human and half… Jungkook. It makes the child more powerful and connects him to Jungkook but since the process works through your body, you get connected with Jungkook too. That’s why you’re bonded.”

Jimin smiles faintly, joy filling him at the information. Next second, he shakes his head and bites his lower lip. How can he be happy at that thought?

“But that will end after the pregnancy, right?” Jimin asks, putting down his chopsticks.

Taehyung shakes his head with an apologetic smile. “You’re bonded for life. Jungkook can choose to make you immortal too by breathing more of his soul into you but you can also die a natural death since you’re still half-human. If you want his soul gone, you have to breathe it back out but that will kill you.”

“Ha-half-human? What do you mean? I’m fully human.”

“Not after Jungkook breathed part of his soul into you.”

Jimin groans, feeling his eyes burn. “But that makes no sense.”

“You’re still you. It will have a small effect on you. You will change but not that much.”

“What do you mean ‘not that much’? Just the other day I bit a man like a wild animal and probably killed him. I’m turning into a monster.”

Taehyung’s lips form an ‘o’, eyebrows raising. “That wasn’t you. That was the baby. And the man did die but only because of Jungkook. He couldn't let him live and call the police on you.”

Jimin groans, burying his face in his hands. His headache is slowly getting worse. He opts not to waste any time thinking on what Jungkook did. “How do you know?”

“Because Jungkook’s power, his soul is inside you and he's not inherently evil.”

“And can I do something with that power?”

“Well, you definitely can’t kill him with it if that is what you were thinking," Taehyung says and clicks his tongue "And you can’t do much with it since you were just a passage. You’re more resistant to demon-attacks, your body isn’t as fragile anymore and you’ll have a free pass in hell even without Jungkook on your side.”

“Is there anything that can kill him?”

“Other than god? There are a few who want him dead but can't really do it. And you don't want their help anyway. They'll kill you too just to get back at Jungkook. He'll lose his child and the part of his sould that's inside you forever.”

“Is he the royal highness of all evil or why can’t he be killed that easily?” Jimin asks mockingly, rolling his at how ridiculous it all sounds.

Taehyung stops flipping through the book and turns to Jimin with a smile on his lips, one that Jimin can’t decipher and that isn’t the usual mischievous smile. It’s almost innocent. “You don’t get it, do you?” he says.

“Get what?” Jimin asks, suddenly nervous.

“He’s Lucifer. Jungkook is Lucifer.”

“You’re, like, the ultimate personification of evil. Heck, fuck personification. You are evil. Not as in a character trait but you are the thing, the evil.”

Jungkook stares at Jimin incredulously. All he has been doing since Taehyung revealed Jungkook’s true identity to Jimin is watch his nervous breakdown, him pacing and stuttering and trying to cope with the fact that he has had sex with the devil. The devil.

“Does that mean god exists?” Jimin suddenly asks, stopping his pacing to look at Jungkook with horrified eyes. “All his rules are real too and I will land in hell for having had sex before marriage? For having had sex with you? Oh my god. Wait. Am I even allowed to say that?”

Jungkook snorts, which infuriates Jimin.

“Can you stop laughing? This is serious. I may have to rot in hell forever. What made you think you had the right to fuck me and impregnate me? Why do you even wanna be a dad?”

“Felt like it,” Jungkook says, picking up the remote and switching through the channels. Now that Jimin has stopped pacing, Jungkook apparently has no interest in watching him with hawk eyes.

“You felt like it? What do you mean you ‘felt like it’?” Jimin questions, standing in front of Jungkook and blocking his view.

Jungkook watches Jimin with round eyes, as if he doesn’t understand Jimin’s question or why he’s making a commotion. “That I felt like it. I felt like becoming a dad.”

Jimin throws his head back and groans loudly before he looks back at Jungkook. “And why was it necessary to mess with my body and impregnate me? Couldn’t you have impregnated one of your hot demon subjects? I’m sure they would’ve loved carrying the devil’s child.”

Jungkook puts the remote away, having given up on watching TV and dedicates his attention fully to Jimin. “What makes you think demons are hot? We’re creatures of fire. And it’s no fun to create a child with them.”

“What is that supposed to mean now?”

“It doesn’t piss him off.”

Jungkook sighs, rolls his eyes and says through gritted teeth, “God.”

At that, Jimin groans again. He stomps to the couch and lets himself fall onto it next to Jungkook. “So what? Are you a rebellious teenager? If you didn’t like getting thrown out of Eden, you should’ve listened to him. Grow the fuck up.”

If Jimin hadn’t been afraid of Jungkook so far, then the glare he directs at Jimin in that moment is enough to root him to the spot and keep him scared for a lifetime. He looks like he’s going to murder Jimin. Or throw him into hell and have him tortured there for the rest of eternity. Surprisingly, Jungkook does none of it, but he does speak up.

“You don’t deserve him,” Jungkook hisses, eyes cold. The tension rises and the temperature in the room changes. “None of you ever did, and you prove it every single day. I, his best student, was supposed to bow to Adam? A human being? If he was so good, then why did you all turn out this way? You’re all a mistake. You do nothing but disappoint him.”

Jimin gulps audibly, and he knows he should keep his mouth shut – it just can’t be a good idea to piss of the devil – but he can’t help it. Not when he sees more pain in Jungkook’s eyes than anger.

“So you really are a fallen angel?”

Jungkook snorts, turning his head to the TV again. “Please. Angels have no free will. They’re just servants, there to obey every single word of his. They have no choice but to follow him, but I? I followed him on my own volition. You humans are supposed to do it too but you’re too busy disappointing him.”

“Well, then, if I disappointed him and you disappointed him, then maybe you and I are more alike than you’d like to think,” Jimin says, and he should stop. Especially after the way Jungkook glares at him again, but again, he can’t. “And maybe it was never about bowing to a human being. Maybe it was about obeying him. Maybe your obedience meant so much more to him because you would’ve done it on your own volition. And maybe the fact that you willingly chose to disobey him is the reason your punishment was this hard.”

Way too late does Jimin notice how Jungkook is shaking, is seething, breathing fast and ragged, jaw tense, and gaze murderous. It wouldn’t surprise Jimin if Jungkook were to turn earth into hell right that instant but instead Jungkook just disappears. There’s a sudden cramp in his stomach.

Jungkook disappears and doesn’t appear for a few days. Taehyung seems to have replaced him, the warlock always on Jimin’s side and never letting him do anything that Jungkook wouldn’t let him do because it could be harmful for the baby. Other than that, he simply ignores Jimin or maybe acts like he does but he always has his head down in some books or pots or something else that Jimin doesn’t bother to check on.

Jimin doesn’t mind. He goes to work and tries to live his life as normally as possible with a high warlock in his apartment brewing all kinds of demonic things and tries to accept the fact that he’s pregnant but it’s hard. Never before did Jimin think he’d hate an innocent baby. If the child of Satan can even be called that.

Jimin groans after calling Jungkook Satan which makes the whole ordeal seem even worse than when he calls him Lucifer. Satan the devil sounds so much worse than Lucifer the fallen angel, even if Jungkook said he wasn’t an angel.

“What’s wrong?” Seokjin asks, poking his head out from the cubicle. Recently, that’s all what the man has been doing: asking Jimin what’s wrong because Jimin can’t stop sighing and worry about him.

Jimin hasn’t told him. He has thought of doing so multiple times but he’s afraid he’ll put Seokjin in danger if he does so. But he’ll have to tell him anyway. He’s showing more. Soon he won’t be able to hide it anymore and he doesn’t want to disappear on his best friend like that.

“What did the doctor say?” Seokjin asks, ripping Jimin out of his thoughts.

Jimin bites his lower lip, watching Seokjin intently as the man waits for his answer patiently. The worried expression on Seokjin’s face forces him to make up his mind.

“I’ll tell you later over dinner at yours,” Jimin says, at first wanting to go to a café because that takes less time and Taehyung has been nagging him about not spending too much time outside because of Jungkook, but it doesn’t seem like a wise choice considering how sensitive the topic of their talk will be.

The frown on Seokjin’s face deepens but he nods, going back to work.

After work, Jimin is anxious the whole way to Seokjin’s apartment – having texted Taehyung, who surprisingly uses a mobile phone, where he’s going. He waits until they have eaten the majority of the food when he puts his chopsticks aside and looks at Seokjin directly.

“So, I know this will sound crazy but don’t freak out and listen properly, okay?” Jimin says, waiting for Seokjin – who looks more and more concerned – to nod before he goes on. “Remember my last one-night stand?”

“The one you barfed all over?” Seokjin asks with a smile while Jimin glares at him.

“No. The one before that.”

Seokjin hums in thought and says, “The one you had three rounds of sex with?”

“Yeah. Remember… how we joked he’s magical and basically supernatural?” Jimin asks uncertainly, feeling more and more discouraged by the confusion on Seokjin’s face.

“Yeah, so?”

“Well, he kind of is?”

Seokjin shakes his head. “What?”

“Okay,” Jimin says, finding new determination and looking straight at Seokjin. “Just listen. That guy is actually Lucifer and put a potion in my drink that would change my body and make it possible for me to conceive a child and now I’m pregnant with his child.”

Jimin breathes out long after the confession, smiling at how much lighter he already feels. He feels so much lighter that he doesn’t even mind the completely confused and weirded out look on Seokjin’s face.

Seokjin is silent for a moment, then licks his lips and shakes his head. “What? Are you okay, Jimin? Did someone put something in your drink today?”

Jimin laughs. “No. I’m serious. Look, I’m even showing because the baby is growing twice as fast as a normal human baby,” Jimin explains and raises the hem of shirt.

Seokjin gasps when he sees Jimin’s stomach, eyes widening and mouth falling open. Jimin pulls his shirt down before his friend gets a heart-attack.

“That’s why I also had been sick the past weeks. They were symptoms of pregnancy.”

“B-but how?”

“With the help of a high warlock who gave him a potion so that my body would change.”

It surprises Jimin how easily he can talk about this and how much it has lost its weirdness to him over the past days.

“So that fucker messed with your body and impregnated you without your consent?” Seokjin’s confusion has turned into anger. Seeing his friend be so concerned about him makes Jimin tear up.

“Basically, yeah.”

“And you’re carrying this child why?”

“I tried to abort it but that’s hard when you’re just a normal human being and you have to not face just any supernatural creature but Lucifer who is basically the king of hell and has all kinds of demons and warlocks working for him.”

Seokjin bites his lower lip, multiple emotions showing on his face: anger, determination, confusion and then defeat. It’s silent for a while until Jimin speaks up.

“I wanted to tell you before I have to resign because I’d be showing too much but also allegedly because of a risk of getting attacked by his… I don’t know. Enemies, I guess.”

“Resign? You can’t.”

“I have to, hyung. I don’t have much of a choice.”

Seokjin scoffs, leaning back against the couch and looking at a loss for words.

“I’ll be fine. I have a high warlock and the king of hell doing everything for me. And it’ll just be for a while before I come back and beg the boss to give me back my job and it’ll be like before.”

“You want to let him have the baby?” Seokjin asks with furrowed brows and a tone that makes Jimin feel small.

“Yeah,” he mumbles, playing with his nails because he can’t look at his hyung.

“But that’s your child too.”

“It’ll be basically half-demon, hyung. It already made me attack a human being and I’m scared of what else it’ll make me do. I can’t take care of it anyway.”

Seokjin sighs, rubbing his face with his hands. Jimin feels bad for having unloaded so much on his hyung at once.

“I have to go now. He worries when I’m gone for too long.”

Seokjin smiles but it’s not a happy smile and shakes his head. “Call me if you need something, okay?” he says as Jimin is putting on his shoes. “And don’t disappear on me. Always stay in contact.”

Jimin nods and gives Seokjin a tight hug. He leaves with a smile on his face and also reaches his apartment like that.

“You’re quite happy,” Taehyung sing-songs when Jimin arrives at his apartment.

Jimin just smiles at him, going straight to his room because he’s exhausted.

“He knows,” Taehyung calls out before Jimin can close the door.

“What?” Jimin asks as he walks back out.

Taehyung looks at him, leaning against the table, arms crossed over his chest.

“He knows you told your friend.”

Jimin scoffs, feeling anger rise in him. “His stupid lackeys?”

Taehyung nods. “He doesn’t mind though but said you better not tell anyone else.”

Jimin just slams the door shut and, after a relaxing but small bath, goes straight to bed.

He dreams. It’s a weird dream, unlike the rest that he has. Nothing big happens and Jimin feels like he’s fully aware of himself, like it’s reality and not really a dream.

He’s in a clearing, full of sunshine that warms his body. Someone is there with him, Jimin can feel it, and is calling out to him. In his dream, Jimin smiles fondly, fastening his pace to reach the voice. His smile widens when he hears the voice calling out to Jungkook too and turns to his right where Jungkook is standing and already looking at him.

Jimin opens his eyes and spots Jungkook standing at the foot of his bed. He sighs, wondering why he woke up and feeling saddened that he did so before he could reach the voice. It takes his sleep-riddled mind a bit to process what’s going on.

“What are you doing here?” Jimin asks when he realizes that he isn’t dreaming and that Jungkook really is standing in his room in all his handsome glory.

“You called me,” Jungkook says, eyebrows furrowing slightly. “Are you all right?”

“I didn’t call you,” Jimin says.

“Yes, you did. You must have called me in your asleep. Did you have a nightmare?”

It’s weird. The look on Jungkook’s face almost makes it seem like Jungkook is worried about him. Jimin would think a bit more about that if he didn’t suddenly remember the small voice he heard in his dream, the one that at first called out to Jimin and then… Jungkook. Jimin’s eyes widen and casts a glance at his stomach, then looks at Jungkook.

Jungkook’s expression falls as if he just read Jimin’s mind and then he’s sitting on Jimin’s side, pulling the man into his arms. Jimin hates how he relaxes in Jungkook’s arms but has no energy to fight it.

Jungkook starts spending more time at the apartment. It’s natural how he appears more and becomes a part of Jimin’s daily life, and Jimin accepts it without any complaints. Jungkook is also nicer to Jimin, fulfilling the smallest wish of Jimin especially regarding his ravenous appetite. Even that morning, there are ten different pastries laid out on the breakfast table just for Jimin.

There have also been more dreams in which he hears the baby's voice and in which also Jungkook appears a lot. He never sees the baby but Jimin knows he's there, and he always wakes up smiling afterwards and bit too fond of Jungkook. It took Jimin a few days to realize that it's the baby who's influencing him.

“Is something wrong?” Jungkook asks, raising his eyebrows.

Jimin startles, a blush rising up his neck at being caught staring at Jungkook so shamelessly. He doesn’t even know when he started doing it. “No.”

Taehyung turns a page in the magazine he’s reading.

Jimin rubs his chest, sighing when he feels the pain in his pectorals again. It has been going on for a few days and is getting worse.

"Is everything all right?" Taehyung asks, Jungkook turning to Jimin too.

Jimin sighs again. Maybe it's best to tell Taehyung. "My chest hurts. Since a few days now and I don't know why."

Taehyung puts the magazine away and turns to Jimin. "Where exactly?"

"My pectorals. They seem to be getting bigger too. At first I thought it was because I'm gaining weight but they're hurting too."

"Aaah," Taehyung hums and picks magazine back up again, smiling relaxed. "You're about to lactate."

"I'm WHAT?" Jimin shrieks, slamming his hands on the table.

"Lactating. You're giving birth. Your body is preparing for the baby. It's a normal process."

Jimin huffs and bites his lower lip, looking down at his chest. Lactating. Never in his life did he think this would be it. When he looks up, he sees Jungkook staring at his chest with a dazed look but looks up when he notices Jimin's stare. Jimin's cheeks heat up and he averts his gaze, arm coming up to shield his chest, stomach tingling weirdly.

Taehyung turns a page in his magazine.

Jungkook clears his throat and gets to his feet, Jimin jumping up with him. “Where are you going?”

Jungkook looks around confused. Taehyung turns another page in his magazine.

“Can I call it work?” Jungkook says.

“Don’t you have your lackeys to do that for you?”

“Not when it comes to managing hell.”

“Did you need something?”

Heat rises up Jimin’s cheeks and he shakes his head. “No. Just saying.”

Taehyung turns another page in his magazine.

“Okay. I’ll be off then. Let Taehyung know if you need anything.”

“Yup. That’s what I’m here for,” Taehyung says in a monotone voice.

Jimin nods and pouts when Jungkook disappears. He’s brought back by Taehyung’s voice.

“Just saying,” Taehyung mocks with mischievous smile.

“Just read your magazine.”

Since Jimin has resigned a few days ago, it leaves Jimin with a lot of time on his hands, time he has started spending talking to his baby. Seokjin visited him and was hit on by Taehyung all the time. He was told not to visit again for his own safety so him and Jimin mainly text.

Jimin is once again putting oil on his growing stomach that is stretching his skin too fast too much to stop stretch marks as good as he can, and he’s telling his baby the story of when he fell from a tree and broke his leg, when there’s a movement inside him and then a kick. Jimin stops massaging his stomach, frozen, and then he’s smiling brightly, moving his palm on his stomach to feel the baby move again.

“Come on. Do it again,” Jimin whispers, breathing turning fast, body becoming giddy with energy. “Come on, baby,” Jimin repeats when the baby doesn’t move and laughs out loud when the baby kicks again.

Never would he have thought that he’d be so ecstatic about something related to his baby, had thought that each reminder of the baby being inside him and growing there would only serve to sadden him and bemoan his fate, but here he is, delighted to a point he feels like he’ll burst.

His baby moved, a sign of physical strength and healthy growth, and he has to tell someone before he explodes.

“Jungkook!” Jimin is calling out even before he knows what he’s doing. It’s an instinct that he can’t stop, and surprising because usually he always wants to tell Seokjin everything first.

Jungkook appears out of nowhere like always and sits down next to Jimin, a worried frown on his face.

“Are you okay?” Jungkook asks and goes on without giving Jimin time to answer, “Is my baby alright? Are you two hurt? Should I call Taehyung?”

“I’m fine. I’m fine,” Jimin interrupts Jungkook before he can bombard him with even more questions. “We’re both fine but look.”

Jimin takes Jungkook’s hand and puts it on his stomach, right where he felt the baby kick. Jungkook’s eyes go wide and he inhales sharply.

“Did he move?” he asks, crouches in front of Jimin and puts his other hand on Jimin’s stomach too.

Jimin nods enthusiastically, both of them waiting for the baby to kick again. Jungkook is waiting patiently, eyes on Jimin’s stomach as if that will make the baby move again, and somehow Jimin finds that too adorable. If he weren’t so impatient Jimin would give a second thought to him thinking the devil is cute but for now he just wants the baby to move again.

“Come on,” Jimin whispers and pokes his stomach softly with his pointy finger. “Move.”

Removing his hands, Jungkook says, “Guess he doesn’t feel like it anymore.”

And that’s exactly when the baby kicks again. Jimin grabs Jungkook’s hands again and presses them to his stomach. “Oh. He just did it again. Say something.”

“Like what?”

“I don’t know. Just address him.”

Jungkook blinks and licks his lips but turns his attention to Jimin’s stomach. “Hi, baby. Oh.”

Jimin laughs when he sees Jungkook freeze up after the baby kicks, eyes wide and gaping, and then he’s smiling too, inching closer to Jimin and pressing a little harder against his stomach.

“He moved,” Jungkook breathes.

Jimin nods. “He reacts to you.”

Jungkook’s smiles falls and he stares at Jimin wide-eyed, and then he laughs a bit breathlessly. “I guess he does. My little baby.”

Our little baby,” Jimin corrects with a smile. It's a reflex, something out of his control. His smile falls when Jungkook’s smile turns tense.

He removes his hands from Jimin’s stomach and gets to his feet. “Our?”

“Well, he’s my baby too,” Jimin murmurs, a pout on his lips, adjusting his shirt and placing one hand protectively on his stomach.

Jungkook scoffs, in no way amused but rather mocking to a certain degree. It unnerves Jimin. “Yeah. The baby you wanted to murder.”

Jimin inhales sharply, heart sinking to the floor. He can’t believe Jungkook went there. “Well, that’s your fault. I was never supposed to be carrying a child, and then you appear out of nowhere and mess with my body and impregnate me without my consent. The baby made me attack someone and you killed him because of it, and you revealed to me he’s a literal demon baby. How was I not supposed to be scared and want to abort him?”

“I don’t care about any of that. He was never supposed to be yours. You were only supposed to carry him and that’s it. He’s mine and I’ll take him with me as soon as he’s born.”

“No,” Jimin says and Jungkook turns to him with narrowed eyes. “He’s my child too and you won’t take him away from me. Sure as hell not to hell.”

Jungkook laughs, voice dripping with taunt. “And how do you intend to stop me?”

Jimin shuts his mouth, feeling his eyes sting. Jungkook is right. There’s no way he can stop Jungkook from taking his son away from him. He’s just a human being and Jungkook is the basically the king of hell with supernatural powers and probably millions of demon serving him.

“You can’t do that,” Jimin says, choking up at the end.

To Jimin’s surprise, Jungkook doesn’t instantly protest, and for a moment he looks like he wants to say something completely else but opts not to. “I can and I will.”

Bone-chilling fear grips Jimin and that’s what makes him scream although he doesn’t want to. “You have no right!

“Right? That’s so funny. You don’t even know what to do with him so stop making this difficult.”

“You-” Jimin starts but suddenly has to stop as he bends over in pain.

It’s sudden, comes out of nowhere, with no warning, and makes him instantly cry. Jimin moans, knees buckling, and Jungkook is there to catch him and carry him to Taehyung. Fear for the baby makes him cry harder and Jimin finds himself not minding even more pain as long as his baby is safe.

“What is it?” Jungkook asks Taehyung after he has finished his check-up and he has subsided the pain.

Jimin rests on his bed, exhausted, holding onto Jungkook’s hand.

“It’s the baby,” Taehyung explains.

“The baby? What?”

“He’s not a normal baby. Aside from being a demon child, he’s much more intelligent and aware. He knows you’re his parents and he’s aware of what’s happening around him so he knows when you’re fighting and he most probably doesn’t like it. I think that pain was him telling you both to stop.”

Jimin glances at Jungkook who looks conflicted. Jimin thinks he can see guilt on his face and maybe remorse but he could also be imagining it.

“Both of you should stop fighting. Especially for Jimin’s sake. You’re human, Jimin. The baby was too much for you just a few weeks in and now you’re four months in which means eight months for humans. The baby is too powerful for your body, and I’m afraid if one day he shows a too strong reaction to something happening around him, you won’t survive it. Though he wants you safe and probably vaguely knows what that means, I don’t think he’s aware you’re human and that it means that you’re so much weaker than him. He could kill you.”

“He won’t,” Jungkook chimes in before Jimin can even process that information or think about what it means. Jimin looks at Jungkook, surprised by the determination on his face. “I won’t let that happen.”

How did this happen?” Jungkook screams and Jimin suppresses a whimper. The air around him flickers, bits of red peeking through as Jungkook’s true form fights to break through.

“I don’t know. I made sure to cover every little corner of the apartment with protections spells.” That’s Taehyung.

They have been arguing like this since Jimin’s apartment was attacked and one of the demons made it through the protection spells. Had Jungkook not appeared right in that second, then Jimin would be dead and so would be their baby. Jimin has been crying since, flinching at the smallest noise.

It was a higher demon, one that could instill fear into people and make them freeze once they look into his face. Jimin has been shaken up since.

“It’s just protection spells. Aren’t you supposed to be the best at them?” Jungkook yells again.

“Stop,” Jimin whines when his body shakes with another shudder.

Jungkook instantly stops and is at Jimin’s side. “I’m sorry,” he whispers soothingly and carefully takes Jimin’s hands in his.

Fresh tears roll down Jimin’s face and he throws all inhibitions out the window, wrapping his arms around Jungkook’s neck and hugging him. Jungkook wraps his arms instantly around Jimin’s waist, presses him closer and coos reassurances and sweet nothings into his ear.

Jungkook has been so much nicer to Jimin since Taehyung told them the baby doesn't like it when they fight, and Jimin has been shamelessly basking in the attention, not wanting to think about what that means.

They end up cramped in Jimin’s bed, cuddling while Taehyung renews the protection spells and asks another warlock named Raphael to help him. With Jungkook next to him, it’s much easier to forget the demon and fall asleep. Even the baby feels safe with Jungkook there.

He wakes up during the night for no reason, a little lost when he doesn’t find Jungkook next to him. For a moment he thinks the demon from before got to him but it subsides when he hears the voices coming from the kitchen. Taehyung and Jungkook are standing there, talking about something that Jimin doesn’t bother to listen to, Jungkook covered in blood and dirt from head to toe.

They freeze when they hear Jimin approach, Jungkook looking guarded when Jimin looks at him, as if he’s waiting for Jimin to explode, and maybe Jimin should as he looks at the blood, but they wanted to kill his baby.

“Are you coming to bed?” Jimin asks and Jungkook nods. “Come back fast,” Jimin adds and waddles back to his room, sighing contently when Jungkook finally slips under his bed blanket after taking a shower.

Sleeping together becomes a nightly thing, with all three of them welcoming the change, and when one day Jimin’s small bed gets replaced by a bigger one, then he doesn’t say anything, just smiles.

“Stop moving,” Jungkook groans, tightening his grip around Jimin. “Sleep.”

Jimin would do just that if only Jungkook weren’t holding on to him so tightly. It’s not like Jimin is uncomfortable. On the contrary, he’s a bit too comfortable, and he doesn’t want Jungkook to notice how much the baby and him are liking the fact that Jungkook has been sharing their bed for the past nights. With each passing day, Jungkook has been growing more nervous but Jimin doesn’t complain because he likes having Jungkook around, especially now that the man has stopped being a dick.

“Why are you here? I thought you didn’t need sleep?” Jimin murmurs.

“I’m technically a living being so I do need bits of basic things. And besides, I can feel the baby likes it.”

Jimin grumbles under his breath, pouting when Jungkook shushes him but still willing to stop and cuddle into Jungkook’s side. If Jungkook asks, he can just blame the baby but thankfully he doesn’t.

He tries to sleep. He really does but sleep won’t come. The more time Jimin spends with Jungkook and the baby, the more he doesn’t want to lose any of them, the more the thought of that happening unnerves him.

“Jungkook-ah,” Jimin whispers and shuts his mouth instantly after, fearing Jungkook will get angry. Jungkook opens his eyes but shows no other reaction so Jimin sees that as a sign to go on. “About Jinwoo-?”

Jungkook blinks and tightens his grip around Jimin. “You gave him a name?”

Jimin feels his cheeks heat up, glad that it’s dark in the room. “Yeah. You don’t like it?”

Jungkook’s eyes flit over Jimin’s face, Jimin growing anxious with each passing second. “I like it. It suits him kind of.”

Jimin smiles and nods, glad that Jungkook approves of the name, of a name given by Jimin.

“So what about Jinwoo?”

Jimin’s smile widens when Jungkook uses the name, lowering his eyes shyly. When he remembers his question, he turns serious again. “Will you really take Jinwoo away from me once he’s born?”

Jimin barely finishes the questions when feels the baby kick, a bit too hard, and whimpers, one hand coming up clutch his side.

Jungkook puts his hand next to Jimin and says, “Did you see that? Do you think he’ll let me take him away from you?”

Jimin sighs relieved, smiling again and looking fondly at his stomach before he looks at Jungkook again. “He won’t, won’t he?” His voice drips with pride and happiness.

Jungkook smiles too and it takes Jimin’s breath away. He looks so innocent when he smiles. He turns serious when he says, “And I don’t want to separate us. Haven’t been wanting to do that since a long time.”

“Really?” Jimin asks, suddenly insecure. That’s when he realizes how desperately he wants to be wanted by Jungkook too, not just by their child.

Jungkook nods and cups his cheek with one hand. “That wasn’t the plan from the beginning but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think of it after finding out you were pregnant. We’re bonded after all but I wanted it even more after seeing you grow fond of Jinwoo. You’ll love him a lot.”

Jimin wants to say that he wants to love him to but his heart is pounding too much and his tongue feels too heavy.

“Now go to sleep,” Jungkook mumbles and presses a kiss to Jimin’s forehead.

Jimin’s stomach makes a summersault.

Affections becomes a normal part of their daily lives after that. Jungkook allows himself to touch Jimin, to rest his hand on the small of his back when Jimin is walking or on his thigh when they’re eating at the table or, his favourite spot, on his stomach whenever he can, which is also what they’re doing now.

Jimin is leaning with his back against Jungkook’s chest, shirt ridden up and stomach on display while Jungkook rubs a soothing oil onto it softly. Jimin should be embarrassed by the scene playing out but he’s far too pleased that Jungkook is taking care of him and their baby so well to be feeling anything other than pride. He has all of Jungkook’s attentions and he intends on enjoying. Lately, he kind of grew desperate for it.

Jimin can also feel how much Jungkook wants the baby, how excited he is and impatient to have him in his arms, and more than ever before, does Jimin want to give birth to their son, wants to give birth to him for Jungkook’s sake.

Jimin loves how Jungkook’s warm breath ghosts over his neck, almost feeling like a kiss. Jimin traces the vein on Jungkook’s lower arm with his forefinger.

“What does your true form do? Why are you never in it?”

“My true form brings out the deepest desires in people. It’s what I use to whisper to them and make them sin.”

Jimin’s finger tracing Jungkook’s vein falters, stopping mid-air.

“Are you scared now?” Jungkook whispers, lips faintly moving against Jimin’s ear.

Jimin turns his face towards Jungkook and meets with a guarded expression. It’s quite ironic, how the devil can look this insecure when he’s the source of all evil.

Jimin shakes his head, his forefinger coming up to trace the line of Jungkook’s jaw. “I don’t think I can ever be scared of you.”

Jungkook tongue darts out to lick his lips and Jimin stares shamelessly, licking his own lips too and leaning in a bit.

Suddenly, Jungkook grabs Jimin’s wrist, startling Jimin. He gasps when he’s turned around and forced to lay on his back while Jungkook hovers above him. Jungkook’s eyes move to Jimin’s wrist that he’s still holding and back to Jimin.

“Once I hold on to you, I won’t let you go,” Jungkook breathes, Jimin huffing, heat coiling in his gut. “This is your chance if you want to an out. I won’t offer it again.”

Jimin bites his lower lip, the hand that Jungkook isn’t holding on to coming up to cup the back of Jungkook’s neck and pull him down. Jungkook growls and presses his lips to Jimin’s. Jimin lets out a moan, insides instantly flaring up with want, reciprocates the kiss and opens his mouth for Jungkook. Jungkook hums pleased, licking into Jimin’s mouth and nibbling on his lower lip.

They kiss and kiss, until Jimin is whining needy and grabs Jungkook’s belt to unbuckle it. Jungkook stops his hands and Jimin feels so hurt by it that he tears up.

“We can’t,” Jungkook says, voice low and soothing.

“Why not? I want to,” Jimin whines and grabs Jungkook’s belt again but is stopped once more.

“You’re nine months pregnant. It’ll hurt too much.”

Jimin pouts but doesn't want to relent. "Please. I'm so hard already."

Jungkook huffs, eyes flitting to Jimin's crotch and on his way back up, the stop at Jimin's chest, right where his pectorals are. Jimin looks down and sees the wet spots on his shirt and whines. For once he's no wearing the bra and cotton pads Taehyung gave him after he started lactating because it's uncomfortable to wear it but now he regrets it. Shame courses through him and he uses his arms to cover the wet spots.

"Don't," Jungkook growls and removes his arms. "I'll get you off but you won't hide."

Jimin gulps and closes his eyes when Jungkook lets go off his arms and grabs the hem of shirt, revealing Jimin's chest slowly. Jimin tries to find something to hold onto as his breathing turns fast and ragged but there's nothing on the ground so he grips his own hair. A shiver runs down his spine when the cool air hits his chest, nipples hardening after being exposed. Jimin can feel Jungkook's warm breath on his chest and it makes his cock twitch. He barely suppresses the whimper when Jungkook finally cups his breast, arching into the touch.

Jungkook takes his time to caress Jimin's breasts, jaw tense from how hard he's holding himself back. He squeezes the pectorals, cursing under his breath when milk leaks out.

Jimin cries out when Jungkook suddenly leans in and wraps his lips around his nipple and sucks, using his hand to squeeze more milk out of him. Jimin can feel the milk leak out and enter Jungkook's mouth, the wet heat sending tingles all over Jimin's body. Since he has been lactating, his nipples are a lot more sensitive.

Jungkook sucks harder, humming when gulps down the milk, hand playing with Jimin's other nipple.

"Fuck, it tastes so good," Jungkook groans after letting of Jimin's nipple to suck on his other one. Jimin moans and buries his hands in Jungkook's hair, pressing him closer and arching into his mouth.

Jimin's cock twitches each time he hears Jungkook swallow his milk, leaking in his pants already. It hurts after a while, nipples sensitive, but he doesn't want Jungkook to stop, wants him to keep on drinking from him, even after it hurts from how hard he is.

"Don't stop," Jimin pants when Jungkook lets go of his nipple and pulls away. He sees the tears rolling down Jimin's temples and wipes them away. "Keep going."

Jungkook smiles and kisses Jimin once. "Next time. I'm full now."

Jimin whines, legs shivering from want.

"You look so good like this," Jungkook hums, hands rubbing Jimin's side and then his stomach. Jimin blushes but is pleased that Jungkook likes him like this. He hiccups when Jungkook cups his crotch, pressing down on his hard cock.

"Please," Jimin begs and arches into Jungkook's hand, chasing the friction and release.

"You've been so good. I guess you deserve it."

Jimin nods enthusiastically and raises his hips when Jungkook pulls down his sweats. Jimin should be embarrassed now that Jungkook is staring at his cock so intensely but he's too hard to care about this now. He's just wants to come.

A sigh escapes his lips when Jungkook wraps his hand around Jimin's cock, pumping up and down instantly. The sigh soon turns into pants and those into moans, and he almost screams when Jungkook teases his rim with one finger.

"Please. Please fuck me," Jimin begs, panting and writhing.

Jungkook shushes and kisses him, pumping harder. Jimin grips Jungkook's shirt, pulling at it as he's overwhelmed and gets closer to his orgasm. He wants to stop Jungkook and just hop on his dick but he's too breathless and out of it to form any sentences.

In the end he comes like that, writhing under Jungkook and moaning into his mouth while pulling at his shirt. It doesn't feel as fulfilling as it could've, feeling the emptiness in his ass, but he's content anyway because it was Jungkook who made him come.

Jungkook milks Jimin for every drop of cum, pumping lazily, and stops once Jimin whines. Then Jungkook kisses him. They kiss and kiss until Jimin feels warm and tingly all over, until his lips are burning and swollen.

Then Jungkook picks him, puts him into tub and starts filling it warm water. He helps Jimin take off his shirt and then takes his clothes off. Jimin stares at Jungkook's cock that is half hard and wonders whether Jungkook will let him suck him off, can almost taste it. When he looks up, he sees that Jungkook is watching him with a dark gaze and Jimin blushes, averts his eyes and bites his lower lip.

Jungkook sits behind him and makes Jimin lean against him, hands finding its place on Jimin's stomach.

“Why me?” Jimin asks after a few minutes of relaxing in the warm water, Jungkook massaging his back and shoulders.

“You’re one of his favourites.”

“Yeah,” Jungkook croaks, hands stopping on Jimin’s shoulders. “I can see why.”

“Why won’t you say his name?”

There’s silence and then Jungkook wraps his arms around Jimin and buries his face in his shoulder. “It hurts.”

Jimin turns as much as possible in the tiny bathtub and faces Jungkook. Jimin didn’t think it’d be possible to see this much pain in the devil’s face and, again, insecurity. The air around Jungkook’s face flickers and bits of red and raw skin shines through. Jimin gasps and Jungkook turns his face away, shielding it with his arm.

“It’s okay,” Jimin whispers and wraps his hand around Jungkook’s wrist, attempting to slowly remove the arm.

Jungkook waits until he seems to be more in control of himself and then lowers his arm, his eyes too. “I wasn’t always like this. I used to be beautiful. It was like… like his light was reflecting on me. I changed once I disobeyed him.”

Jimin’s heart breaks at the pain he detects in Jungkook’s voice and wraps his arms around Jungkook as well as he can. “I like you the way you are.”

Jungkook chuckles sadly and shakes his head. “That’s the baby influencing you.”

Jimin pulls backs and looks at Jungkook. “I guess I have to convince you somehow in the years to come.”

Jungkook’s eyes widen. He looks puzzled by Jimin’s words.

“What? You said you wouldn’t let me go. You have to hold on now.”

This time, Jungkook’s smile looks happy. “I guess I do,” he mumbles and wraps his arms around Jimin and kisses him. “Gosh, I can’t wait to fuck you properly.”

Jimin smiles into the kiss.

The contractions come as a complete surprise. They come during the night and wake Jimin up with the stinging pain in his abdomen that renders him useless. He can barely breathe after he wakes up, let alone move his hand to wake Jungkook up. In the end, Jungkook wakes up himself, instantly on Jimin’s side and calling for Taehyung.

“Jimin, what’s wrong?” Jungkook shakes Jimin lightly but Jimin just moans, wrapping a hand around his stomach. Jungkook seems to pale at that but he gets the hint and gathers Jimin in his arms, whispering sweet nothings into his ears when Jimin’s moans get louder, the pain increasing when he’s moved. Jimin wants to beg Jungkook to wait for Taehyung because he doubts he can bear being travelling with Jungkook but then Jungkook has already done it, Jimin screaming when the pain increases by a ten-fold.

“He’s not due yet,” is the first thing Taehyung says when he walks into his living-room, helping Jungkook put Jimin on the bed he prepared for Jimin, multiple machines next to it that are supposed to monitor Jimin.

Jimin whimpers when the baby inside him moves and hits one of his ribs, tears flowing down his face.

“He’s premature. Where’s Raphael?” Jungkook growls and holds onto Jimin’s hand while putting his other hand on Jimin’s stomach.

“Won’t be here any time soon. I have to do it without him.”

“No!” Jungkook protests. “He has to watch over Jimin while you perform the c-section.”

Jimin cries out, grabbing Jungkook’s hand harder when he feels the baby move inside him again. He’s impatient.

“Unless you want that baby to tear his way out of Jimin, you have to let me do this now,” Taehyung says, waiting for Jungkook’s reply. He’s not as collected as he looks. His hands are shaking.

Jungkook looks at Jimin’s pained expression and then to the hand print he can make out on Jimin’s stomach and nods with a sigh, Taehyung immediately preparing everything.

“I’ll be right here,” Jungkook whispers as he holds onto Jimin’s hands and brushes his hair away from his wet forehead. “I’ll be right here.”

A tear rolls down Jimin’s temple and he nods, unable to make any noise other than whimper.

Taehyung gives him something to numb him from the pain but sighs when the baby moves again.

"I have to start now even if you'll feel pain. Bear it."

Jimin nods. He doesn’t remember much after that. There’s pain, everywhere but especially in his lower abdomen. There are screams, Taehyung’s and Jungkook’s but mostly his. And there’s blood. So much blood. Jimin can feel the stickiness of it, can feel how it seeps into the sheets and mattress, how they suck all of Jimin’s blood right up.

Jimin looks down on his stomach and faintly notices how red everything is but is preoccupied with Taehyung’s hands on his stomach. There are unexpected complications. They make Jungkook yell louder. It makes the lights flicker and the building shake. The next day, there will be reports all over the news about an earthquake right in the inner city of Seoul.

Jimin wants to tell them to save the baby. That it doesn’t matter what happens to him as long as the baby survives. Jungkook has wanted the baby so badly and, just like Jungkook said, Jimin wasn’t supposed to have the baby anyway. He was never part of the equation. So it’s all right if only the baby survives. It’s his right to live and it’s not his fault that Jimin’s body is too weak for him.

Tears flow down Jimin’s face when he hears Jinwoo’s cries, sighing relieved and smiling weakly when he faintly makes out the form of Jinwoo in Jungkook’s arms. Jimin’s body sags against the bed, no longer tense. It only lasts for a few seconds, Jimin’s heart clenching painfully and making breathing impossible. Jimin believes to hear Jungkook call out to him, believes Jinwoo does too but it could just as well be his imagination, his last wish not to get forgotten before darkness swallows him.

Jimin never spent any thought on whether he’ll go to paradise or to hell once he dies. Subconsciously he may have believed he would go to paradise since he’s rather a good human being. The first time he truly believed he would land in hell was after finding out that Jungkook is a Lucifer and he had sex with him. Before marriage.

Would that mean he’ll join Jungkook and Jinwoo in hell? Will they be there? And will he be permitted to be with them? Even if Jungkook is the king of hell, it was still invented by god and may only work by his rules.

This doesn’t feel like hell though, Jimin thinks as he takes in his surroundings. He’s at the clearing again, the feeling of comfort there too although this time he doesn’t feel anyone’s presence. He feels lonely.

Is this his personal hell? Spending eternity in this clearing alone for bringing Jungkook’s child into the world, for loving the idea of doing so and being happy about it? It would be cruel. It would be fitting.

Would Jungkook visit him here?

Jimin startles when he hears someone call out to him, turning every way and hoping to get a proper look at his son. He hadn’t even met him. How cruel it is that he had to go before he could even hold his son. He’s nowhere to be seen.

The voice calls out again and Jimin wakes up with a gasp, sitting straight up in the bed. Someone is instantly on his side, putting his hands on Jimin’s shoulders and shaking him. Jimin takes in his surroundings, not recognizing the room and for a moment he believes he really is dead but then two arms wrap around shoulders, warming him up. Jimin sniffles when he recognizes Jungkook’s scent and hugs him back tightly.

“Are you all right? Are you hurt? Do you need anything?” Jungkook fires question after question once he pulls back and Jimin only chuckles.

“Don’t stress him,” Taehyung chastises and hits Jungkook on his arm. “And don’t be so loud.”

“I missed you,” Jimin croaks, voice rough from not being used for so long. “Where were you? You weren’t there.”

Jungkook’s relieved expression is replaced by guilt. He takes Jimin’s hands in and kisses them. “I’m sorry. I tried to look everywhere for you, sent everyone out but you were nowhere to be found and I had to stay here to guard your body and him. I’m so sorry.”

A cry is heard from the other room and Jimin pulls away from Jungkook, heart pounding and eyes set on the door. “Is that him?” Jimin asks. “Let me see him.”

Jungkook nods and leaves and it makes Jimin’s heart ache painfully. What if this is a dream too? What if this is his personal hell and the scene will change just as Jungkook is about to enter the room with his son and Jimin will never get to see him?

Jimin whimpers when Jungkook appears next to him and he sees the small bundle in Jungkook’s arms. Jinwoo is awake and whimpers when he sees Jimin, holding his hands out to him. Jimin takes him into his arms and kisses his cheeks, his nose and forehead and eyes and his small hands too that grab for Jimin's face. Jimin can’t believe he finally has him in his arms.

“He couldn’t wait to meet you,” Jungkook whispers and presses a kiss to Jimin’s head.

“How did I survive?” Jimin whispers later on when it’s dark outside and Jungkook is cuddled in his side while Jinwoo is laying on his chest. Jimin presses a kiss to Jinwoo’s head who makes a content noise.

“I breathed in more of my soul into you after you had the heart-attack.”

“You what?” Jimin almost yells, both him and Jungkook cooing when Jinwoo whimpers.

“I had to,” Jungkook says once Jinwoo is calm again.

“But isn’t that dangerous for you?”

“It was worth it.”

Jimin manages a shaky smile, Jungkook rolling his eyes fondly when he sees Jimin shed some tears. “Don’t do that again.”

“I won't have t," Jungkook says hesitantly and adds. "You're immortal now, Jimin. That was the only way to save you."

Jimin gulps and smiles shakily. "Is Jinwoo immortal?"

Jungkook nods.

"That's great then, right? We'll be together forever. All three of us."

Jungkook smiles and repeats. "All three of us. Just like a family.”

Jimin smiles and looks at Jinwoo and back at Jungkook and nods. Jungkook reciprocates his smile and leans down to kiss him. This is all that matters.
