Summary
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful vampire who lived in an abandoned, decrepit castle all by his lonesome. But it was alright; he had friends, and one day, he even had a small puppy who lived with him. He loved the puppy, caring for it and playing for it when it had no one else to turn to. They lived together in loving peace, until one day, the puppy was gone.
No notes, no explanations, no traces of it were left in sight, and once again, the vampire lived on his own. But as an immortal, the vampire knew people would always come and go out of his life before he could help it. So, he moved on, even if his heart continued to pang with sorrow and worry every day.
Then, years later, tales of a ravenous beast on the loose spread throughout the forest, and Todoroki Shouto found old memories dredging up like the worst drug. But maybe, just maybe, there is more to these tales than just injured townsfolk and slashes on trees.
