Work Text:

Jimin was a bit on the timid side. Not really, but somewhat. At least enough that the fact that he’d finally managed to ask out his so called ‘crush’ was quite the achievement to him. It was nothing special. He’d just suggested getting some tea in the nearby Starbucks, since he didn’t know any other cafes, just to get to know the guy.

As sad as it may be. Jimin had been pretty prepared to be rejected. After all he’d hardly ever talked to the guy, always sat in the back of the class and was just quiet overall. It would have been surprising if he even knew his face. Especially since the guy, the infamous Kim Taehyung, was one of ‘those’ guys. Someone everybody knew or had at least heard of.

He did a lot of charity work. The teachers loved him because he was uncomplicated and handed in his assignments on time, the students loved him because he was always willing to share his knowledge of school related stuff that others might not have understood. Not that he was good at everything, but he at least tried to help where he could. He was polite towards everyone, even people that made Jimin’s skin crawl. It was almost impossible not to like him.

At this point Jimin was convinced that either Taehyung had to have some sort of dark secret or he was a fucking angel hiding in a human body.

Now, with all that information, the fact that Taehyung knew his name came as quite the surprise, but what came as even more of a surprise was that he actually took Jimin up on his offer. Jimin had expected to be rejected. In probably the sweetest and most well natured manner possible, to the point where he might not even have felt dejected by it, but nevertheless rejected. That expected rejection never came.

When Taehyung said ‘sure’, Jimin was already halfway about to say that it was okay and that he just wanted to ask, when he realized that Taehyung had not said no. Admittedly not having taken into consideration that that might have been a possible outcome, Jimin had no idea what to say afterwards.

He just spluttered something about being grateful, which he regretted quite a bit afterwards, because who the fuck is grateful that someone says yes to hanging out, but he actually did have the brains to ask for Taehyung’s number so they could meet up.

Not even ten minutes later, Jimin was back on his seat and simply stared at the new contact in his phone. It took about another two hours for him to convince himself that he really wasn’t going to wake up any second and realize that it wasn’t real after all.

So now Jimin was on his way home to quickly change clothes before picking Taehyung up, who had sent him an address the day before. He was staring at his phone again. Taehyung had sent him another message. Kim fucking Taehyung, who now had his number, had sent him a message and it wasn’t just that it. It wasn’t a normal message. No ‘ hey let’s meet there .’ ‘ Sorry, am running a bit late ’.

It was one sentence. One sentence that made Jimin’s heart flutter in his chest. He knew he was being overdramatic. He hardly knew Taehyung in person. He’d just gotten to know Taehyung through watching him in class. Taehyung was exactly what Jimin liked in a person. A bit unique, but not in a forced way, well natured and just so energetic and enthusiastic. Of course he was hot too, but that actually wasn’t the reason Jimin had noticed him.

It was the fact that Taehyung was sweet to everyone, didn’t judge someone based on their looks and was so open to everything.

Now to the part where Jimin was being overdramatic. He was so in love… and yeah blah blah you can’t love someone you don’t know. He was working on that alright?

His eyes fell back on the messages and blood rushed to his face.

Taehyung
Looking forward to our date<3

He contemplated what to text. He didn’t want to sound like a teenager, but he felt like squealing right now.

Jimin
Me too:)

God he was awkward. Who even used those smileys anymore.

You more into sexy or moderate outfits?

Jimin choked on his own spit before coughing a couple of times. When he quickly checked his surroundings for any witnesses of him almost dying from nothing, he made eye contact with very familiar black ones. So deep that he felt like they were deep black holes and there was actually nothing apart from black inside of them.

Anxiety built up inside of Jimin. Jeon Jungkook. Jimin hadn’t really seen him in person that many times. Just his back sometimes when he entered college and the inked boy stood in front of the building, talking to some of his friends that looked even scarier than him, and smoked.

Even so Jimin had heard quite a couple of rumors, ranking from him having beaten some kids up who had dared to pick a fight with him, to him being part of a gang or even mafia in the area, even further straying to him actually being a demon that sucks the soul out of his victims by staring at them long enough.

If he was being honest, Jimin knew people talked a lot and he didn’t like judging people based on their appearance, but Jimin was rather safe than sorry. He had no intention of befriending someone who probably spent most of his day drunk at bars or smoking weed in empty parking lots. That wasn’t Jimin’s usual crowd. Not that he really had many friends here yet, he’d just moved here recently and aside from Hoseok, who he shared a dance class with, he hardly knew anyone.

So the Jeon Jungkook stood there, a cig clamped between his lips, hoodie pulled over his head, leaning against the wall, black ripped jeans with chains over the rips, which would have looked pretty attractive if it weren’t for the glare he sent Jimin’s way. Something cold ran down Jimin’s spine and he quickly averted his eyes and forced himself to keep going forwards. He had to pass Jungkook to get off campus or he could take a much longer way, but that seemed kind of ridiculous even to him.

He was pretty sure Jungkook wouldn’t go around beating up people just because. He probably had his reasons for the things he did, if he had actually done them, Jimin wasn’t going to judge, but he also wasn’t going to stop and talk to the boy.

When he finally was through the gate and on the sidewalk he let out a silent sigh of relief. See, that hadn’t been all that bad. Now he was looking forward to his date. Fucking god, it was a date. Taehyung had recognized it was a date.

After Jimin had quickly slipped into something presentable, a white t-shirt and jeans as well as some silver earrings, and had fixed his hair, he grabbed the keys for his car, a black Honda Civic. Not the best car, but Jimin was proud of it. He had worked for it himself and after saving some money from his Saturday job for three years he had finally been able to afford it. His mother had offered getting him a better one, but it felt good to buy something with his own money so he had declined.

Even so he did feel somewhat embarrassed when he knocked on the door of Taehyung’s apartment at the thought of Taehyung seeing his poor excuse of a car, but those worries were quickly forgotten when the door swung open and the person opening it was not Taehyung.

The first thing Jimin saw was, well, a muscular upper body, with tattoos winding all the way from his chest and arms down to where they disappeared in the seam of wide gray sweatpants that hung way too low for it not to be absolutely sexual. They revealed a strong v-line and a small trail of hair that lead down to… Jimin forced himself to look up and his heart almost stopped in his chest when he came face to face with Jungkook again.

The boy was leaning onto the door frame, not giving a fuck that he was half naked, mustering Jimin up and down, his eyes devoid of any emotions. The only way Jimin could have described it was that Jungkook looked mean. Scary even. And bored. Also like he was annoyed that Jimin was here, but instead of going all scary and saying something to Jimin, Jungkook simply turned around.

“Tae, that kid is here!”

“Coming!” Came back from inside and Jimin didn’t know whether to feel offended for being called a kid or not, but he didn’t have long to think about it because Jungkook stepped through the door, towering over Jimin, and for a second Jimin expected him to hit him or something like that, but then Jungkook simply slipped outside, grabbing a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and walking down the hallway of the dorm, still half naked. Jimin wasn’t going to be the one to point that out.

Instead he turned around again, relieve washing over him when Taehyung’s face appeared in the doorway. “Jiminie, you’re early.”

Jimin blushed at the nickname. “Sorry. If you want me to I could…” He pointed at the hallway, indicating that he could simply leave, but Taehyung simply laughed and shook his head. “No no. Don’t. I’m done already anyways.”

Just then Jimin noticed his outfit. Taehyung was wearing a plain black shirt with long sleeves and white jeans, but in addition with his raven black hair that was a bit too long already and almost covered his eyes he looked ridiculously attractive. Manly, but not in a forced way due to his rather broad build, and overall just comfortable.

“You look good.” Jimin was glad that his voice didn’t show any signs of how fucking nervous he actually was.

“Thanks.” Taehyung grinned, grabbing his jacket. “Let’s go.”

Not long after they were sitting in a small café Taehyung had suggested because Starbucks was quite expensive for broke college students. It was a family run business and Jimin had to admit that he really liked it there. He would have to write down the name of it later, just to make sure he’d find this place again.

“So Jimin, what do you do?” Taehyung asked. It was just small talk but Jimin was glad for the opportunity of telling Taehyung about himself and hearing about Taehyung too.

“Right now I’m majoring business. My interests are actually more in an entertainment industry direction, but that is somewhat unrealistic, so I want to make sure to have a backup plan.”

“Entertainment industry? What exactly?”

“I enjoy dancing a lot… and I sing. Never really took lessons for singing but I spend a lot of time at home singing along my favorite songs…” Jimin explained a bit embarrassed and sipping on his hot chocolate.

Taehyung watched him with attentive eyes.

“What do you do?” Jimin asked.

“Majoring in business and photography. I’m already doing some smallish jobs on the side but nothing big. My goal is being a professional photographer someday.” He explained, running his hand through his hair and god Jimin was so into him. Even the way Taehyung blinked was sexy.

“That’s pretty cool.” Jimin stated, his eyes watching the way Taehyung’s adam’s apple moved when he swallowed some tea. He forced himself to look up at Taehyung’s face again. Taehyung was paying attention to him. He couldn’t just drool over him like he usually did in class.

“I think so too. Did you move here recently? I never really noticed you in class before and I usually know everyone.”

Taehyung had noticed him… again Jimin felt giddy at that piece of information. “Yeah, I did.” Jimin smiled brightly at him. “I was in Busan before.”

“That has to be harsh. Did you have to leave anyone behind? Maybe a boyfriend? Dramatic love story?” Taehyung chuckled, making a circular motion with the glass in his hand, watching as the tea started spinning.

“I wish. Never had one.” If Taehyung was surprised, he didn’t let it show. “And friends I had to leave behind a lot, which is pretty sad, but I hope I’ll make some new ones here soon.”

Taehyung nodded, taking another sip of his tea. “I’m sure you will. You seem easy to talk to.”

Jimin beamed on the compliment. “Thanks. It’s pretty easy to have a conversation with you though. You’re super nice and great to talk to.”

Taehyung laughed. “I’m glad you think so.”

They spent a good hour talking about school and life and told some stories about things that had happened to them. Overall the atmosphere was great, but Jimin couldn’t help but feel like Taehyung wasn’t really opening up. Of course he wouldn’t on their first time talking, but he was being oddly distant.

Jimin didn’t spend too much time thinking about it though, instead just enjoying Taehyung’s presence.

“Jimin?”

He had gotten lost in his thoughts. He quickly averted his gaze from the now empty cup in front of him and instead looked up at Taehyung. “Hm?”

“Why did you ask me out? I mean, yeah, I know that’s an awkward question to ask, but you can be honest with me. I’d just like to hear it.”

Jimin hesitated. “I just… I don’t know. You always stand out next to everyone. Like you’re beautiful and amazing and so nice to everyone. You’re always doing things for others instead of for yourself. And you even said yes when I asked you out… You’re just seriously so cool.”

Unlike Jimin had expected Taehyung pressed his lip into a thin line, leaning backwards in his seat.

“Jimin… just some advice for the future. Don’t idolize people. Like, I know you have a crush on me…” Jimin stopped breathing. “…and you see everything through rose colored glasses but I’m not that great and I really don’t think anyone is that great.”

Jimin frowned. But Taehyung seriously was that amazing. He was just about to interject but Taehyung kept going. “Wanna know why I came here with you? The absolutely nice and totally for you reason?”

Not knowing what Taehyung was about to tell him he nodded. He really wanted to know.

“Because you have a nice ass. And face. Just a good body I could get off to.”

Jimin froze, not knowing what to say.

“I’m not saying that to be mean, but just because I want to be honest with you. I’m in no way looking for a relationship. Maybe a date and then fucking, but that’s about as romantic as it gets. I know that from what you told me about yourself, you’ve never been in a relationship. You’ve never had sex. Honestly I’m not annoyed, because talking to you was fun, but I just want you to know where I stand.”

Jimin could feel adrenaline wash through him. He was being rejected. And he really didn’t know how exactly to feel about it. Because Taehyung was right. What he was saying really did clash with the picture Jimin had drawn himself of Taehyung. The whole nothing romantic concept didn’t seem to quite fit. “I…” He had no idea what to say. What the hell was he supposed to reply to something like that? “You’re not interested in a relationship?” Jimin heard himself ask, before realizing that it sounded different from how he meant it. “Like, I’m not talking about you not being interested in a relationship with me… just nothing at all?”

Taehyung shook his head, leaning back in his seat. “You know Jungkookie? My roommate?”

Jimin nodded slowly. The nickname Jungkookie sounded weird, but he knew who Taehyung meant. A certain black haired boy with scary eyes and a mean mouth.

“We are dating. Somewhat. Open relationship and sometimes we break up, but then we’re together again. It’s a bit complicated.” Taehyung stated and for the first time Jimin felt like he was receiving a bit of openness from Taehyung.

“You know him?” Jimin asked. Of course Taehyung knew him, but Jimin hoped to get an answer on how. More out of curiosity than anything else. The fact that he was being rejected over a existing relationship softened the blow somehow, but there was a heavy feeling in Jimin’s stomach he would have to deal with later, nevertheless.

“Yeah. We grew up together.” Taehyung stated, grabbing his tea glass just to realize it was empty already. Sighing he put it down again. “And we’re roommates.”

Jimin nodded. “He’s kind of scary if I’m being honest.”

Taehyung looked at him for a couple of seconds before his eyes crinkled up. “Jungkookie’s not scary.”

Jimin could tell simply by the look in Taehyung’s eyes when he mentioned Jungkook that he had absolutely no chance against him. Not like he even would have tried, but for some reason that made him feel a bit better. Taehyung just had someone he cared about already… and of course Jimin was being a bit too… shallow, but he was going to work on that.

He was sure whoever he would end up being interested in next he would make sure to talk to properly before, not assuming he already knew them. Getting to know the type of person they were.

“I’m glad that you’re happy with him.” Jimin stated and he really meant it. It always made him happy to see others happy… and he was sure that the two of them would probably work through whatever was complicated and start dating properly.

“You know… Wanna hang out again? I mean, we could just hang out as friends.” Taehyung suggested and Jimin smiled, getting over his ‘heartbreak’ rather quickly. Of course he was. For it to be actually painful he would have had to be in love for real and the longer Jimin thought about it the more he realized that Taehyung had really just been a crush.

“I’d love that.”

Kim Taehyung was a great friend. It didn’t take long for Jimin to learn that anew. Of course he wasn’t as flawless as Jimin had thought he was when he first got to know him. He had a bunch of flaws. One of them being that he was always late, which annoyed the fuck out of the rather punctual Jimin, but Jimin was pretty forgiving too.

Another flaw was that Taehyung was lazy when it came to having to do work. In the past Jimin had always felt like Taehyung actually had his shit together and did everything for school he had to do. Now he wasn’t all that sure anymore. The amount of times Jimin had to drag Taehyung to the library to get things done was comparable to the amount of times the name Jungkookie left Taehyung’s mouth in a ten minute conversation.

Jimin had gotten over Taehyung quite quickly. Too quickly for what he had felt in the beginning to have been even remotely serious. Might have been because Taehyung had been so direct about what he wanted or didn’t want, but Jimin felt like it probably was more because he saw the way Taehyung’s eyes got softer whenever he mentioned Jungkook.

And it wasn’t even Jungkook in a sense of who he was at this moment. They just spent so much of their time together that everything Taehyung mentioned was somehow connected to Jungkook. Because Jungkook’s and Taehyung’s lives were connected so closely that it was hard to separate them. It was always ‘when I and Jungkookie went…’ or ‘Jungkookie told me about this…’.

Jimin still felt a bit skeptical about the fact that Jungkook was cute according to Taehyung, but Jimin had learnt his lesson to not judge a book by its cover. Taehyung was still nice, but in such a different way from what Jimin had thought in the beginning.

He always noticed if Jimin was feeling a bit off. Knew exactly what to do and say to get him in a better mood. Taehyung was attentive and Jimin really felt like Taehyung saw him when he looked at him. He knew that he could trust Taehyung.

But Taehyung certainly wasn’t the perfect husband Jimin had expected him to be in the beginning. Taehyung slept around a lot, smoked weed every once in a while, drank a lot and was overall just a bit unreliable at times. The more time he spent with him, the more he realized how wrong he had been.

The funniest part though was that he kind of liked this Taehyung more. He was not as unimpeachable as he had been before. Jimin no longer felt like Taehyung was some sort of god. Not after he had called Jimin once to ask him whether he could pick him up from a house party and when Jimin did had thrown up all over Jimin’s shoes. Yeah, certainly not a god.

But Jimin loved that boy. In a platonic way. Maybe still a bit more than that, but he had come to terms with Taehyung just not being available. Taehyung was adorable at times. A pain in the ass some others and Jimin had so much fun whenever he was around him. He was okay with everything as it was.

So when, a good three months later, Jimin decided he couldn’t stand being at home anymore, packed his shit and left, Taehyung was the first person he thought of calling. Jimin didn’t like asking people for favors, but he needed a place to crash and Hobi was living in such a cramped space that it was impossible for anyone to stay over.

Taehyung didn’t hesitate to say yes, even though he later asked Jimin to wait a bit longer until he had at least warned Jungkook. Right… Jimin had almost forgotten about Jungkook being there as well. He hardly ever went to Taehyung’s place, because they met outside most of the time or at college. Jimin had been at Taehyung’s only once and that was just because he had dropped him off the night Taehyung had drunk a bit too much.

“Hey Jiminie.” Taehyung whispered softly, opening the door to the apartment. “Jungkookie’s sleeping so shhhh.” He pointed behind him to the living room and Jimin nodded. He really didn’t feel the urge to accidentally wake Jungkook up. Not at all.

“He’s on the couch… let’s go to my room.” Taehyung grabbed Jimin’s bag and arm and dragged him towards one of the rooms. Jimin let himself be dragged but couldn’t help but let his eyes wander into the direction of the living room where Jungkook was probably sleeping.

The door was closed behind him and once it was Taehyung straightened up and sat down on the edge of the bed. “So you finally decided to leave?” Taehyung asked, no judgement in his tone.

Sighing Jimin dropped onto the floor and crossed his legs. “Yeah… I fucking can’t stand that asshole. Whenever my mum’s around he acts all nice and oh my god I’m such a good step father, I’d deserve an award, and once she’s gone he gets all bossy and keeps picking fights with me.”

“Step fathers.” Taehyung rolled his eyes dramatically and Jimin giggled.

“Yeah, step fathers.”

Taehyung offered Jimin to sleep in his bed, while Taehyung would take the couch, but of course Jimin declined. There was no way in hell he would kick Taehyung off his own bed. The couch was more than fine. Jimin could watch TV deep into the night and he enjoyed being this close to the kitchen.

The only downside was that he wasn’t the only one using the kitchen and living room at night. Which only turned into a problem the third night he slept there.

Jimin was sitting on the couch, watching Vampire Diaries and silently dying over how hot Damon was, when Jungkook entered the room looking a bit roughed up. He had a split lip, a red spot on his right cheek bone and his clothes looked like someone might have pulled on them with a lot of force. The neckline of his t-shirt was a bit torn on the front but Jimin wasn’t sure whether that was style or from whatever fight Jungkook had gotten into.

Jimin was still somewhat scared of Jungkook, even with all of Tae’s reassurances that Jungkook was a good guy deep down and just took some time to warm up to new people. Jimin had never talked to him, but he felt like Jungkook was annoyed by his existence every time their eyes had met over the last months, which really didn’t help with how tense Jimin felt.

Which was why Jimin almost felt surprised when Jungkook dropped down onto the couch, casually leaning back and looking at the television. Jimin expected him to ask him to give him the remote or ask Jimin to turn off that teeny shit, but none of that happened. Instead Jungkook simply sat there, with his split lip, man spreading with his ripped jeans, giving Jimin a great view of the tattoos that snaked underneath the fabric of his pants. Jimin couldn’t help but wonder how many Jungkook had. And where they were located too.

Not being able to endure the silence Jimin turned around. “Do you need something for…?” He pointed at his own lip. Jungkook simply looked at him for a couple of seconds, not saying anything. Jimin silently swore at himself for not simply keeping quiet. He really didn’t want to annoy Jungkook.

“Nah, I’m good.”

Jimin stared… that was a surprisingly peaceful reaction. He had expected Jungkook to at least tease him or something. He forced himself to disconnect his eyes from Jungkook, but didn’t miss the way Jungkook’s tongue flicked over his split lip and something glinted in the weak living room light.

Did Jungkook have a tongue piercing? Jimin had to admit that if he had it probably looked hella good on him.

After another minute of silence and not being able to focus on the series at all, and why the hell was Jungkook even watching this with him? Jimin was pretty sure that he didn’t usually watch Vampire Diaries, Jimin got up and walked towards the kitchen to get a coolpack. He was sure that red spot on Jungkook’s cheek could need some cooling even if Jungkook denied any help.

“Catch.”

Jimin waited for Jungkook’s eyes to flicker into his direction before he chucked the coolpack at Jungkook. Jungkook looked down at the blue material, then back at Jimin. Jimin hated those eyes. He couldn’t read Jungkook at all. He always had that stoic expression of his that never showed what was going on in his head.

Maybe it wouldn’t have been all that bad if Jungkook didn’t remind Jimin so much of his step dad. That same cold expression. The tattoos. The alcohol. The willingness to fight. Both were dangerous. Both made Jimin feel on edge.

“Thanks.”

Jimin forced himself not to freeze. To just step forward and move back to his place on the big couch, where he could hug a blanket around himself. “No problem.”

Jungkook’s voice was rough and tired, but unlike his step father’s it sounded human. Jimin hugged his blankets tighter around himself. He couldn’t keep projecting and assume everyone with tattoos was bad. He knew he would keep going back to doing it, but at that moment he silently promised himself that he would try to stop doing that.

Even with how much Jungkook’s presence made him nervous he simply dozed off at some point and when he woke up, probably a good hour later, Jungkook was gone, the TV switched off and he himself was properly lying on his makeshift bed instead of sitting like when he had fallen asleep.

He silently wondered how much of it was thanks to Jungkook.

It was actually kind of funny how Taehyung and Jimin had been pretty good friends for weeks over weeks now and although him and Jungkook were dating, Jimin had never seen even one interaction between the two of them. Of course Jimin had never really made an effort to get to know Jungkook better, because he just felt like Jungkook didn’t like him.

And both Tae and Jungkook had their own circle of friends, so the only time they actually did things together was in their apartment, which was why when Jimin woke up that morning, feeling groggy and still half asleep, it took him a good minute to realize he wasn’t seeing things when he glanced at the kitchen and saw Jungkook standing there, chopping something, probably for breakfast, and Taehyung was right there next to him, watching him with a warm smile, his hand on Jungkook’s waist.

And although Jungkook didn’t really do anything to reciprocate the gesture, he also didn’t block Taehyung off, silently continuing his work. It was weird. Jimin had always taken Jungkook as the type of guy who hated body contact, but judging by the way he didn’t swat Taehyung’s hand away and even went out of his way and tried to stay in reach for Tae when he grabbed something from the fridge, it seemed like maybe Jimin was wrong.

He continued lying there for a bit longer, simply watching, silently thinking to himself how cute and domestic the scene seemed. He had a certain feeling that this might be something casual reoccurring between the two of them.

He sat up, muttering a ‘morning’ that was just loud enough for both of them to hear it.

Jimin watched in amusement as Jungkook slipped away from Taehyung as if his hand had burned him. For once Jimin really didn’t feel scared of Jungkook at all. Not with how much he tried to seem nonchalant but there was the softest tint of red on his cheeks. Jimin couldn’t hold back a comment. “Don’t let me bother you two love birds.”

He entered the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge before waving at them. “I have a class in two hours. If either of you has a class too I could take you. I’m gonna take my car.”

“Jungkookie has a…”

“Can you not?” Jungkook snarled in a warning tone and Jimin automatically felt nervous again, but Taehyung seemed absolutely unfazed.

“What’s the problem? Didn’t you say that…”

“Shut up.” Jungkook growled before turning around and leaving the room.

Jimin followed him with his eyes before turning back to Taehyung.

“Please don’t make him angry if I’m even remotely involved… I’m not… I’m still not really comfortable with him.” Jimin sighed, looking back at Taehyung, who just shrugged his shoulders.

“Sorry. Just thought he might want to because he said he kind of wants to get to know you.” Taehyung stated and Jimin’s eyes widened comically.

“What?” Jimin really couldn’t imagine Jungkook saying that. Not at all.

“Jungkook sucks at getting to know new people. His social skills are pretty much reduced to sassy remarks and mean comments.” Taehyung shrugged his shoulders and grabbed the knife to pick up the work where Jungkook had left it.

“And he said he wants to get to know me?”

“Not exactly. I’m just good at reading him and he’s kind of trying to be nice. If he weren’t you’d know.”

Jimin raised an eyebrow, glancing at the door to the living room, just to make sure Jungkook wouldn’t come back. He was pretty curious but Jungkook didn’t have to know that.

“Jungkookie’s all talk no bite… most of the time. When he doesn’t like someone he’s mean. When he likes someone or tries to get to know someone he literally disappears into thin air because he spends so much time thinking about how to that he ends up not doing anything. It’s cute.”

“Are you supposed to expose him like that?” Jimin asked, not knowing how much he could trust that information. Jungkook still looked at him like he was angry all the time.

“He’ll live. Maybe… I don’t know. You said he makes you nervous but maybe initiate something? End his suffering, as cute as it may be to watch.” Taehyung suggested. “He really likes that bad boy image he has built up around him, but I swear he’s a huge softy inside.”

Jimin raised a skeptical eyebrow. Yeah, towards Taehyung maybe.

“I’ll consider it… but I don’t think I will. I don’t want to piss him off.”

Well, Jimin was scared as shit, but Taehyung had asked him to and he still struggled with saying no to Taehyung. Also he was kind of blocking the couch for both Taehyung and Jungkook. The least he could do was try to get to know Jungkook better.

So when he spotted Jungkook on the balcony of the flat, staring into the distance and smoking, Jimin took his chance and stepped outside too. Jungkook looked up at him and again, nothing even close to an emotion crossed his face.

He just looked Jimin up and down, before pulling the toxic stick out of his mouth. “You need anything?” His voice was rough, just like all the other times Jimin had heard it. Jimin wondered what he might sound like after you had talked to him for a while. Would his voice get cleaner after some time?

“No. Just wanted to… maybe chat with you?”

Jungkook looked at him for a couple of seconds, before turning back to face the view. “Okay.”

Jimin cursed Taehyung under his breath. Jimin was super awkward and Jungkook wasn’t going to make it easy for him apparently. He really wasn’t sure where this was supposed to lead them.

To his surprise Jungkook spoke again after a few seconds. “How’s your situation? Have your parents called?”

Did Jungkook know about him? Had Taehyung told him anything or was he just asking because something had to be wrong if Jimin was crashing at their place? He decided to just ask.

“Did Taehyung tell you about it?”

Jungkook simply shook his head.

“Okay.” Where was Jimin supposed to start? The tattoos on Jungkook’s arms were distracting him too. He was wearing a tank top so all of them were visible. Jimin couldn’t help but let his eyes trace over the lines. There was a huge wolf on Jungkook’s upper arm. It was a beautiful tattoo… what had Jungkook asked again? Right, about his situation at home.

“My mother is on a business trip and my step father forgets that I exist when I’m not there so no calls.”

“You don’t have a good relationship? With your step father I mean?”

Jimin was surprised how soft Jungkook’s voice sounded now that he was facing away. His sharp eyes no longer were piercing Jimin’s. Overall it seemed like maybe Jungkook’s voice had a lot more emotion to it than his face did.

“It’s the worst. He’s an asshole, but great at acting like he’s not. I can’t stand him.” Jimin stepped forward in a moment of bravery and leant against the railing next to Jungkook.

“Sounds tough.”

“Yeah.”

They probably stood there in silence for ten minutes, but for some reason Jimin didn’t feel uncomfortable. There was something comforting in Jungkook’s silence. He couldn’t pinpoint what it was, but it made him feel at ease. Which, even if he wouldn’t say that they were friends at this point, clearly was progress.

And there really was some progress. Some more days passed and Jimin was slowly starting to feel homey. He fell into certain patterns. In the evening he would watch TV and sometimes Taehyung or Jungkook would join him.

The most progressive part was that, although Jungkook still sat down on the absolute other end of the couch, as far away from Jimin as possible, he wouldn’t sit in complete silence anymore. Instead he’d ask Jimin short questions when something happened that had ties to things that had happened in the series before Jungkook had started watching and at some point Jimin simply summarized all of the characters and what had happened so far for Jungkook, which also was the point when Jungkook went from every couple of days to sitting with him every evening.

Maybe Jimin was imagining things but he felt like Jungkook was growing more involved with the series. He’d watch with the same focus Jimin did and Jimin had to admit that he really enjoyed Jungkook’s company.

He still didn’t feel comfortable with talking to Jungkook outside of it, mainly because they were both awkward as fuck, but he no longer felt anxiety rising whenever he locked eyes with Jungkook. He had even gotten used to Jungkook’s glare and realized that was just Jungkook’s face and the boy wasn’t really looking at him with anger. Apparently Jungkook had quite the resting bitch face.

“I’m glad you two seem to get along better now.” So even Taehyung had noticed it.

He and Jimin were sitting in the cafeteria of their college and eating. They had just finished discussing a group project that Jimin was absolutely not looking forward to.

“Me too. I mean, I’m still not entirely comfortable because tattoos just give me anxiety… I mean, they are hot but also…”

“Why?” Taehyung cocked his head to the side.

“Why what?”

“Why do the tattoos give you anxiety?”

“I...” Was Jimin supposed to say the truth? He never really talked about this in detail with anyone. But Tae wasn’t just anyone. At this point he counted Taehyung as one of his absolute best friends. “It’s just full sleeve tattoos. Because my step father has them too. And I’m scared of him so they scare me too, because they remind me of him.”

“But… it’s just tattoos. Not everyone who has a tattoo will behave like your step father.”

“I know that it’s ridiculous. They just have that effect on me.”

A soft sigh on his lips, Taehyung reached out and wrapped his hand tightly around Jimin’s. “It’s not ridiculous. Just know that Jungkook seriously isn’t someone you’d have to be a afraid of.”

“I know. I kind of know what you mean when you say he’s cute now too.” Jimin admitted.

Taehyung grinned. “I’m honestly glad to hear that. By the way. Mind if I join your movie evenings? They seem nice.”

Jimin laughed. “It’s your apartment. Of course you can. You shouldn’t even ask me… by the way, should I pay rent? I really can. It’s not much of a problem. I just don’t know how much longer I’ll block your living room.”

“No you don’t have to. It’s nice having you around. It’s comfortably cramped somehow.”

“That’s not a good thing!”

“That’s what you’re gonna wear? Careful that you don’t get raped.” Jungkook was referring to Jimin’s see through top.

“I’ll be careful. Thanks for worrying.” He snarled back, but in a good natured way, before connecting one of the chains he had borrowed from Jungkook to his jeans so it was dangling on the side. He had to admit that he liked Jungkook’s things.

“You look good.” Jungkook was gone so quickly that Jimin wasn’t even sure whether he had actually heard him say that or if he was just hearing voices.

He met Hobi right in front of the club, where a small line had formed. They had decided to meet there because the music inside was too loud to even exchange greetings. When Hobi spotted him he looked down Jimin’s legs before going right back up to his see through top, giving him a whistle.

“That’s hot. Wait, those look oddly familiar… don’t tell me you stole Jungkook’s chains. Do you wanna die?” Hobi asked with a dramatic gasp.

Jimin laughed. “I didn’t steal them. I borrowed them. He literally picked them out for me.”

“Making friends with the devil, I see. If at some point he decides to take over the world, whose side are you gonna be on?”

“The winning one of course, duh.”

Not long after they were both moving around on the dance floor, Jimin simply enjoying the buzz of the drink he’d had prior and going more for groups of people rather than someone he could flirt with since he had no intention of taking anyone home.

After about thirty minutes, Hobi sent Jimin a message about how this rather flexible girl would be willing to take him home and about how he was a bad friend but what had to be done had to be done. Jimin wasn’t really annoyed anyways. He’d gotten to know some new people and the night had been awesome so far.

So instead of getting angry over his friend doing what was normal at a club, he went to the bar to get himself another drink and ended up having a pretty interesting conversation with one of the girls sitting there. Conversation as in screaming in each other’s ears and not understanding half of it but acting like you did.

They exchanged numbers too, maybe she lived closeby or even went to the same college.

After another few minutes he moved towards the dance floor again, but he started feeling a bit dizzy. Too dizzy for it to come from the small amounts of alcohol he had consumed. His parents had warned him often enough about the side effects of spiked drinks for him to recognize the signs right away. They had also told him exactly what to do if something like this ever happened.

Even though he was having a hard time, he quickly wrote a message he copy pasted and sent it to Hobi, Taehyung and Jungkook, just changing the name in hopes at least one of them would read it.

Then he walked back to the bar since he needed something to sit on, because the whole room was starting to spin. He felt sick to his stomach. Like he had to throw up any second… and pretty groggy.

Nevertheless he managed to order a glass of water from the bartender hoping that it might help with how hot he was feeling. For a while he simply sat there, forcing himself to breathe in and out slowly, trying to clear his head just enough to maybe ask the bartender to get him a taxi or something along those lines. But he couldn’t gather the energy to open his mouth and tell him. The glass of water in his hand felt cool against his skin, but everything else felt like it burned.

And then there was a hand on his hip, someone talking to him. Jimin stared at his mouth that was forming words but they didn’t reach his head. He couldn’t comprehend what he was saying. And then he could feel himself being led out. For a second he felt panicked because where was this stranger taking him, but then that numbness settled over his brain again, making it so hard to focus on what was happening.

Jimin could feel his eyes dropping, when out of nowhere they came to an abrupt halt. Jimin forced himself to open his eyes again. He felt so tired. All he wanted was to just go to sleep.

He noticed Jungkook in front of him. Right there. So close he could even taste his musky smell on his tongue, mixed with alcohol and smoke. There was something soothing about it. He sighed tiredly, stepping forward in Jungkook’s direction just to realize there still was that arm slung around his waist, holding him in place.

Jimin whined tiredly. He wanted to get to Jungkook. He didn’t want to stay with that stranger.

Jimin’s eyes were too slow to follow the actual movement, but suddenly Jungkook moved and the guy next to him finally lost his grip on Jimin and tumbled backwards. Jungkook shook his hand, clicking his tongue, before reaching out for Jimin and grabbing both of his shoulders. For the first time Jungkook’s face wasn’t completely motionless, instead there was worry written all over it.

A wide smile spread over Jimin’s lips as he wrapped his arms around Jungkook and buried his face in Jungkook’s shoulder.

“Are you okay?” He just about could make the words out. He thought about it for a couple of seconds. He felt pretty okay. Dizzy but happy now that Jungkook was here. That creepy guy was no longer touching him.

Jungkook’s tattooed arms were wrapped around him, but Jimin didn’t feel anxious at the thought of those tattoos. Instead he felt save because Jungkookie was here to protect him.

Jimin pretty much blacked out most of his way home. He did remember vaguely that Jungkook had carried him on his back and that he had talked. Not things that were important. Just enough to keep Jimin’s thoughts busy.

Jimin still remembered how he had clung onto Jungkook when they had reached home and Jungkook had tried getting Jimin off his back and onto the sofa. He also remembered that Jungkook gave up at some point, so when Jimin woke up in Jungkook’s bed, drooling onto his black pillow, there wasn’t too much confusion. He had a pretty good idea of how annoying he must have been for Jungkook to give up and let Jimin sleep in his bed.

The thing that was by far the most surprising and admittedly the most pleasant as well was the fact that Jungkook was there too. Rolled up in front of Jimin. They weren’t cuddling but their legs were touching and Jimin could feel his hand intertwined with Jungkook’s underneath the blanket.

Jimin wasn’t really used to a lot of skinship or even the idea of waking up next to someone but he had to admit he kind of liked it. And something he did judge himself for… he also liked it with Jungkook.

It was kind of weird. As if last night had washed away all the remaining fears and simply left warmth and contentedness behind. Maybe it was still the drugs in his system speaking but Jimin really doubted that. Jungkook had been really sweet last night and if there was one thing Jimin knew about himself it was that he had a thing for sweet guys. And as weird as that sounded in his head, apparently Jeon Jungkook was a sweet guy too.

Waking up was a lot less awkward than Jimin had imagined it to be. Instead of acting like nothing happened or being weird about sharing a bed, Jungkook opened his eyes, noticed Jimin, yawned and then ruffled his hair as if they had done it thousands of times before. “Are you feeling better?”

Jimin nodded slowly, enjoying the warmth of the touch. Just like the day before Jungkook’s eyes weren’t sharp and scary, but instead warm. Probably because he had a proper excuse as to why he had to be nice to Jimin, so he didn’t have to feel bad for losing his bad boy image.

“Still dizzy?”

Jimin sat up to test it and yeah, he still felt the slight aftertaste of dizziness.

“A bit.” He closed his eyes, trying to shake that feeling off and get up, but Jungkook pushed him back into the sheets again.

“Stay. I’ll get you some breakfast.” And then he was gone and Jimin would have gotten up, but then he thought about the idea of Jungkook taking care of him and flopped back into the bed that smelt a lot like Jungkook.

Maybe, just maybe, Jimin had a thing for being taken care of and being babied but no one had to know about that. He could just enjoy his breakfast in bed, without having to admit to it.

Jungkook seemed to really have warmed up to him. Just like Tae had promised. He just took his time. The funny thing was, it showed in a rather unique way. He seemed to have less of a problem displaying affection towards Taehyung in front of Jimin.

Before he wouldn’t even let Taehyung touch his shoulder when Jimin was in the room, but now he was full on leaning on Taehyung while they were watching the final episode of the third season of Vampire Diaries.

Jimin still sat in his spot a bit farther away and watched them. For some reason he enjoyed watching Taehyung and Jungkook be cute with each other. Just weeks ago Jungkook was the scary might be mobster of his school no one dared to pick a fight with and Taehyung had seemed so out of reach. But together they were just… them in such a natural, cute way.

Jimin had to force himself to look back at the screen because his staring might have become creepy otherwise.

A couple of days later he got a call. It was his mother, sounding fucking angry and worried at the same time, yelling about how Alex had told her that Jimin hadn’t been home for more than two months. Jimin tried calming her down, but she was so angry and at some point the line disconnected and Jimin was left behind as a distressed emotional mess.

He loved his mum. She was the main reason he put up with that excuse of a man she called her husband, but even he had run out of energy at some point. He couldn’t bear staying in the same apartment as that man for one more day.

No matter how worried his mother was.

He just sat there in silence on his makeshift bed at eight am, feeling sobs and tears building up in his throat but forcing them down whenever they threatened to surface. He wasn’t sure for how long, but then he heard the door to the room open and a tired looking Jungkook in just a wide t-shirt and black boxers entered it, probably with the intention of getting a glass of water, but stopping when he saw Jimin sitting on the bed, a deep frown on his face and staring at the ceiling.

Jungkook knew that strategy to suppress tears. He also knew that face Jimin was making. Even so he went into the kitchen and grabbed two bottles of water, one for himself and one he brought to Jimin, who was not looking at him.

Sighing he ruffled the dark brown locks of his hair, hoping they didn’t stand into all directions too badly, before holding the water bottle in front of Jimin’s face. Jimin looked at it for a couple of seconds as if it was going to bite him, finally taking it although a bit hesitantly and then gulping all of its content down.

Jungkook watched silently before offering Jimin his own bottle. Jimin silently shook his head and Jungkook nodded in acceptance, before slipping into a more comfortable position on the sofa, leaning against the backrest and then closing his eyes.

He had the strong feeling that Jimin wasn’t ready to talk right now. So he would just wait here next to him. It was Sunday anyways, so aside from most of his friends visiting the usual hang out spots there wasn’t anything he had planned. He had all day.

Luckily it didn’t take all day before Jimin slipped closer to him, leaning against his shoulder and closing his eyes tiredly. Jungkook didn’t mind.

“My mum called.” Jimin’s voice was hoarse from swallowing all those sobs.

“Why?”

“Because she’s angry that I left my step father alone at home.”

“Why would it be your job to take care of her pet?”

Jimin giggled at Jungkook’s words. He had to imagine his step father with a leash around his neck. That certainly would have been satisfying.

“It’s just… she doesn’t really know him and he is nice to her at least so I don’t want to ruin it.”

“What does he do usually?” Jungkook shifted a bit before throwing an arm over Jimin’s shoulder and hugging the boy close. Sighing exhaustedly, Jimin leant into the touch, closing his eyes again. He really needed that right now.

“Just… he yells a lot and insults me. Tries to force me to do stuff. Always thinks he knows everything better. It’s not even that bad… he was worse when I was a child, because I couldn’t defend myself properly back then.” Jimin stated, feeling a knot in his throat that made it hard to talk.

“What did he do back then?” Jungkook asked, his grip tightening around Jimin, but there was something soothing to that too.

“He… pretty much the same… the only thing he doesn’t do anymore is… he kind of used to touch me really weirdly.” He could feel Jungkook tensing underneath him. His hand instantly went to Jungkook’s chest to force him to stay in place. “Not like rape. He just… I don’t know, touched me all over. Between my legs and shit like that. I didn’t really know what he was doing back then, but it scared me. He always did it when he was drunk so I ended up connecting alcohol to that kind of stuff. I get a bit paranoid when people around me are drunk if I’m honest… just like with your tattoos.”

“What about my tattoos?”

Jimin realized he had never told Jungkook about this. Just Taehyung.

“My step father has two full sleeves. When I see people who have those too I just end up connecting it to that touching back then, because that’s when I really saw those tattoos and eh. I felt a bit anxious around you in the beginning because of that, but it’s better now…” Jimin stated, reaching his hand out and tracing it over Jungkook’s arm. Jungkook’s tattoos were beautiful, unlike his step father’s.

“Jimin, you shouldn’t just keep that to yourself. You should tell someone.” Jungkook rasped, sounding actually worried, his hand rubbing Jimin’s shoulder soothingly.

“I just told you.”

“Not me. I mean like a psychiatrist, because stuff like that is bound to leave some scars. And you should tell your mother. I bet she wouldn’t feel good about staying with him when her child had to suffer in exchange. You shouldn’t just keep all of this to yourself.”

Jimin let out a tired sigh. “You’re the first person I ever told… I need some time before I can even consider it.”

Jungkook nodded before grabbing Jimin softly and lifting him into his lap and hugging him tight to his body. Jimin sighed at the contact, closing his eyes and leaning his head against Jungkook’s chest. There was something about being held close like this. Being held close by someone who most people viewed as scary and dangerous that made him feel protected and save in Jungkook’s arms.

Especially when Jungkook leant down and started placing pecks all over his neck, ears and cheeks. Jimin giggled at how ticklish that and there was a silent voice in the back of his head that made him wonder how Taehyung would feel about this, but he was sure that Jungkook knew the boundaries of his and Taehyung’s relationship the best.

Jimin didn’t have the energy to even think about what Jungkook’s gestures might mean. Instead he just melted into the touch and let himself be cradled by Jungkook’s strong arms that could be all that soft too.

And then Jimin walking in on Taehyung and Jungkook happened. Over the last couple of weeks he had developed the bad habit of always just bursting into Taehyung’s room. So that was exactly what he did when he remembered that Taehyung had mentioned something about going for drinks that evening. He had offered Jimin to tag along a couple of days ago and Jimin had finally made his decision.

But when he opened the door to Taehyung’s room, it wasn’t just Taehyung inside. They were making out on the bed, neither wearing a t-shirt, Jungkook underneath Taehyung, his hands on Taehyung’s shoulders. And Taehyung’s hands were… in Jungkook’s pants. The worst part was neither of them noticed Jimin entering, too focused on each other. And Jimin simply stood there frozen, his eyes wandering over the scene. He couldn’t tear his gaze away.

He stared and suddenly Jungkook’s eyes met his. Both their eyes widened, Jungkook quickly sitting up and almost banging his head against Taehyung’s.

Jimin felt color rush to his cheeks and quickly left the room again, throwing the door closed behind him.

He had thought about whether Jungkook and Taehyung were fucking regularly when he first started sleeping here, but over time he simply stopped thinking about it because there never were any signs of whatever those two were.

Of course now he had… fucking hell. He looked down at the small dent in his pants. What the fuck was wrong with him. Why did walking in on these two arouse him?

Not willing to face any of them right now, if they decided to come out of their room, he quickly slipped into the bathroom, stripping out of his clothes before slipping underneath the soothingly hot water stream. He sighed in relief.

A bit hesitant he looked down at his semi. Either he could acknowledge the fact that Taehyung and Jungkook were fucking hot and that the two of them fucking was double times hot or he could deny it and simply take a cold shower.

The look on Jungkook’s face flashed before his eyes. How embarrassed he had looked. Jungkook had been underneath Taehyung. Did that mean Jungkook bottomed for Taehyung? It was hard to imagine, with all his muscles, but if he did, fuck, that was hot too.

His hand slipped around his dick. If he didn’t take care of it now he probably would end up remembering pieces every once in a while the rest of the day and end up embarrassing himself.

So to avoid that kind of situation he slowly started stroking himself. His thoughts wandered right away. About how Jungkook had to look stretched out underneath Taehyung. Did they switch? Jungkook fucking Taehyung had to be a sight as well. How big were they? Jimin was sure they would both be above average sized.

How would Jungkook look with Taehyung’s dick resting on his tongue. Jimin’s pace automatically fastened and he spit into his hand to make the glide easier before taking one of his fingers into his mouth to slick it up, circling his rim with it afterwards.

A soft sigh left his lips. What were they into? Did they usually prefer soft sex or did they like their sex more on the kinky and rough side? Jimin certainly would have loved to see both. Jimin imagined walking in on them during the actual act.

He would watch them silently from the door. But his fantasy kept going from there. In that scene, they would notice, but instead of going beet red, Jungkook would wave him closer. He would play with Jimin’s dick only using his hand, while Taehyung fucked into him.

“…fuck…ah…” Jimin moaned, feeling on edge. He pushed his finger that had only been prodding around his rim inside, applying pressure on his prostate. With a couple more hasty strokes he came, gasps and whines leaving his mouth as he fucked into his hand to ride out his orgasm.

An exhausted sigh left his lips as he leant against the wall and closed his eyes. He’d have to move out again soon. He was living with a couple that treated him almost like he was a part of their little home. He really would have to leave before he got too attached.

Which of course didn’t mean he’d end the friendship with Taehyung. He just needed more distance. After all he was doing everything with the two of them all day long. It was inevitable that he would grow to like them more than he was actually supposed to.

He washed off all the traces of what he had just done, before grabbing a towel and drying off. He didn’t bother blow drying his hair because he liked the way it fell after air drying more. When he opened the door to the shared area he was glad that apparently those two hadn’t let themselves be bothered by Jimin and were still in their room.

He grabbed his phone from next to the sink and opened Reddit because why not. He just wanted to pass some time.

The first one to leave the bedroom was Taehyung, who grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge before disappearing in the room again. Yup, at least that day Jungkook had bottomed.

Jimin kept scrolling through different types of posts, some amusing, some infuriating, some satisfying and all great for distraction. After another couple of minutes Jungkook left the room in a wide sweater and sweatpants, looking pretty cute. The wide clothes hid Jungkook’s tattoos aside from the ones on his neck pretty well and it gave him a certain innocence that he never radiated usually.

Jimin watched as Jungkook flopped down onto the couch a meter next to him before groaning tiredly.

Jimin scrunched up his nose. “Shower. You reek like sex.”

The glare Jungkook sent Jimin was far darker than those Jimin had been scared of in the past but Jimin had reached that point of no return where Jungkook just wasn’t scary anymore. “Fuck off.” With another exasperated groan Jungkook rolled onto his back. “Whyyy did you walk in? Whyyyyy?”

Jimin could tell by Jungkook’s voice that there was no real anger in it. Just Jungkook being dramatic.

“I’m not all that happy with it either okay?” Jimin shot back, nudging Jungkook with his foot. “I’m glad I didn’t walk in on the real action. Fucking god, that would have been awkward.”

“You’re a virgin, right?” Jungkook asked and the question surprised Jimin. It wasn’t the type of question he’d expect right now.

“Uhm hello, privacy? Why do you care about my sex life?”

A cheeky grin spread over Jungkook’s face. “So a virgin, huh?”

Jimin puffed up. “Can you not?”

Jungkook sat up, running his hand through his hair to get the black locks out of his eyes before pushing his sleeves back. Jimin had to admit that he looked fucking hot doing so. His eyes automatically trailing to Jungkook’s strong hands. As sure as Jimin was that Jungkook had bottomed today he was also sure that he had topped more than enough times too.

“We…uhm…” Jungkook looked a bit hesitant, kneading his fingers. “You… eh… You had a crush on Taehyung in the beginning, right? Like, you asked him out?”

Jimin furrowed his brows. “I did. Why are you asking?” Why would Jungkook want to know that? Jealousy? Didn’t seem like it. It wasn’t like he had anything to be jealous about either. Taehyung was obviously smitten for him.

“Do you still… would you still… be still…” That was the first time Jimin had seen Jungkook fumble for words. There was something adorable to it, but he really wanted to know where Jungkook was trying to go. “Would I still what?”

“Be interested in him like that? I mean- you know me and Tae are kind of dating?”

A nod from Jimin.

“I… We… fuck this shit? Would you be interested in polyamory? Like dating more than one person. I know you’re really into Tae and I’m not really your type but…”

“WAIT wait wait. Woah what? What are you talking about Jungkook? Because I’m really not sure if you mean what I think you mean but-“

“Like me, you, Tae? Dating? All exclusive. I don’t know. It just came up and I kind of want it. Tae does too. I get it if that’s weird for a first relationship and you’re just interested in Tae-“ It was sad that Jungkook could say that with what a straight face. That he’d get into a relationship where the other person didn’t care for him, even though he said he cared.

“Can you stop assuming that you know what I like and don’t like? Because I think I know better what I like and I’m pretty sure I like you just as much as Tae.”

Judging from the way Jungkook’s eyes widened he really seemed to have been sure Jimin didn’t like him all that much. Yeah of course they were somewhat more awkward than Jimin was with Taehyung because Jungkook just had a different character, but Jimin enjoyed the time he spent with Jungkook just as much as the time with Taehyung.

“Seriously?” Jungkook sounded so surprised that Jimin frowned. “You think I’d lie?”

Glancing around he realized that if this was about him dating both of them, which still sounded very unrealistic to him, it shouldn’t just be him and Jungkook talking, but Taehyung wasn’t here.

“Why isn’t Tae here?”

“We just talked in there because we have been playing with the thought for a bit and Tae thought maybe it would be better for me to talk to you about this because Tae was the one you asked out in the first place. To create balance?” Jungkook tried explaining, but Jimin wanted to talk to both of them if they were going to do this. Not just Jungkook. He wanted to hear Taehyung’s thoughts too, coming from his own mouth.

“I wanna talk to Tae about this too though… I…” Jimin hesitated, but he realized he really wanted to give this thing a try. Even if it didn’t work out that would be okay. If he didn’t do it he’d probably regret it for months. There wasn’t really any reason not to do it too. “I’m pretty sure I wanna do it, but I wanna talk to the two of you, not just one.”

Jungkook looked at him for a couple of seconds before getting up and nodding. Jimin watched him leave the room, still in his way too wide sweater.

Was this seriously happening right now? The thought of getting to kiss both of them and at some point do more than that was just...wow. He’d gotten into this whole thing because he had asked out one attractive guy and somehow had ended up getting two out of it. It was even better, because this time he had gotten to know them as friends before ending up with the whole dating idea. He actually knew those two and knew that he could trust them.

When Jungkook came back, Taehyung tagging along, Jimin felt giddy but not in the way he had back then on his and Taehyung’s first date. It wasn’t as intense. It wasn’t all surreal, because it didn’t come out of nowhere. The giddiness he felt was filled with content.

“So… Jungkook said you’re leaning towards a yes?” Taehyung asked softly, sitting down next to Jimin, who nodded, closing his eyes and enjoying the proximity when Jungkook sat down right in front of him too. Usually they’d keep their distance so them coming this close was new but nice.

“It’s just… you two are already having sex regularly and I think I really would rather tackle the whole sex thing slowly.” Jimin stated and both Jungkook and Taehyung nodded.

This time Taehyung was the one to speak up. “That’s totally okay… would it bother you if we keep doing stuff together until then though?” Taehyung asked, rubbing Jimin’s tight. Now that they were sitting here Jimin felt extremely small because he was by far the smallest and they both seemed to tower over him while sitting.

“That’s not a problem at all.” Jimin reassured. He hesitated for a second. “Could I ask why… I mean how did it come to this? Jungkook said something about being exclusive but from what I know you weren’t before.”

“Me and Jungkook have been playing with each other since we were children… in a sexual way. We always got along extremely well but there never was that point where we thought hey, maybe now is the time for us to become serious and start dating each other properly. We just thought that you’d probably feel more comfortable with something stable rather than this mishmash we used to have.”

Jimin nodded slowly. “And when did you decide that maybe you’d try something with me after all?” This time he was just talking to Taehyung. It wasn’t meant in an accusing way. Just curiosity, because Taehyung had made it pretty clear that he was mainly interested in sex and because Jimin couldn’t give him just that, the whole thing wasn’t really up for debate.

“You got along with Jungkookie. When I met you, you were all heart eyes and super shallow, no offense.”

“None taken.”

“Anyways, you actually listened to what I said back then and you actually got to know me. And then you got to know Jungkook and tried being as open as possible, even though even I know that he can be pretty unapproachable. Jungkookie was super into you right from the beginning. Maybe not the beginning beginning, but he warmed up to you really quickly.”

Jimin watched contently when the faintest shimmer of blush covered Jungkook’s cheeks. “That’s cute.”

“Shut up.”

Jimin chuckled happily. “So you two both want this?”

“Yeah.” Jungkook rasped his hand rubbing over Jimin’s thigh and Jimin’s eyes instantly went into his direction. Jungkook always did that thing where he went from being adorable to so fucking hot in a split second.

Taehyung nodded too.

“Okay.”

Jimin stared at Jungkook for a couple of seconds, watching as the younger’s gaze kept flicking downwards towards Jimin’s lip, before he glanced to the side to Taehyung. “Can I kiss him first?”

Jimin felt warmth shoot through his stomach, some of it admittedly setting around his dick, but that he wasn’t going to talk about. Jungkook was asking Taehyung whether he could kiss Jimin and for some reason, that concept was so intriguing and hot.

Jimin looked to the side for a second. He watched Taehyung’s adam’s apple bob up at down.

“If the first kiss is yours, what is gonna be mine?” Taehyung asked, his eyes wandering over Jimin’s body and maybe he would have felt uncomfortable if he hadn’t enjoyed both of their attention so much.

“You can eat him out.” Okay, as much as Jimin liked the attention, what the fuck.

“Guys can you not…?”

Jungkook looked back at him. “But how are we gonna decide on who gets to do what?”

“How about I decide because it’s my body?” Jimin suggested, a skeptical eyebrow raised.

Jungkook glanced at Taehyung before shrugging his shoulder. “Alright, I guess.” He reached his hand out, running it over Jimin’s cheek.

“So what do you wanna do right now?”

“Kiss you.”

“That can be arranged.” Jungkook teased with a smirk, before cupping both of Jimin’s cheeks with his hands and pulling him into a soft kiss. Not a peck, but nothing too intense either. Just moving his lips softly against Jimin’s.

Jimin couldn’t help but sigh into the kiss. Jungkook felt great. His lips were soft and always seemed to be exactly where they fitted best. His hands were stroking along Jimin’s jaw and caressing the sensitive skin of his neck. There was a faint smell of tobacco and cheap cologne in the air, mixed with Jungkook’s natural scent and maybe most wouldn’t have really taken that as a positive thing, but to Jimin that scent was just Jungkook and it made him feel comfortable and relaxed. He liked the way Jungkook smelled.

And then, in addition to all the new sensations that came with kissing for the first time, he could feel Taehyung’s burning gaze on the side of his face, watching his every move. For some reason Taehyung watching him kiss Jungkook and for once not the other way around turned him on. He wondered what they looked like, with Jungkook’s hands slowly moving down to grip his waist tightly and their lips moving in sync like Jimin wasn’t a complete noob at this.

For some reason kissing Jungkook was easy. Because the boy took the lead and Jimin simply followed him. Jungkook didn’t expect too much from him either. It didn’t escalate into heavy tongue fights or even anything tongue related at all.

Kissing Jungkook felt heavenly… in a realistic way. Not in the fake perfect candle light and moonshine way. Just in a down to earth way. Jungkook didn’t taste good. Neither did he taste bad. But he felt good. So fucking good against Jimin’s lips. And his hands that were softly kneading his sides too. They felt good too. Ridiculously good and if it hadn’t been for Taehyung patting his shoulder he was sure he would have continued kissing Jungkook, maybe for hours.

And then he made eye contact with Jungkook. Blood instantly started flowing towards his groin. Jungkook was looking at him with hooded eyes, sucked red lips and his hair was messed up where Jimin had run his hands through it. Jimin had been the one who had caused him to look like that.

“Jimin?”

Jimin turned his head at Taehyung’s voice and then Taehyung’s lips were on his. Unlike Jungkook he was a lot more demanding. One of his huge hands cupped Jimin’s jaw while the other pulled Jimin closer by his waist.

When Taehyung bit down on Jimin’s lip, Jimin couldn’t help but let out a soft whimper. The small choked up sound next to them told him that Jungkook was still watching. His focus still trained on Jimin… or maybe Taehyung. Watching how unlike Jungkook he just took what he wanted, kissing Jimin deeply.

Jimin felt somewhat overwhelmed by everything, the feeling of Taehyung’s tongue teasing over his lips, his hands gripping him roughly and holding him in place. Jimin had always assumed Taehyung would be the softer type when it came to sex and Jungkook would be into the kinky shit, but maybe he’d just have to stop making assumptions based on signs he thought he could read and instead just ask them.

Not now though. He was busy with keeping up with Taehyung. And it was different. So different from when Jungkook had kissed him, but if anyone had asked him, he really wouldn’t have been able to say which kiss he liked more. Because they were both amazing in their own way.

Just when Jimin started feeling dizzy, because he didn’t even get to gasp for air in between Taehyung’s heavy kisses, Jungkook’s voice cut through the room. “That’s enough, Tae. Jimin looks like he’s about to faint.”

When Taehyung pulled back Jimin breathed in heavily, finally filling his lungs with air. He and Taehyung made eye contact. Had Taehyung always looked that manly? Jimin wasn’t sure. Fuck, Tae was hot.

And then Jungkook pulled Taehyung into a kiss too and Jimin couldn’t help but stare at how experienced they were moving with each other. Jimin had a lot to learn but he was glad to do it with those two...
