Summary
It has been a year to the day since Judy Hopps and Nicholas Wilde first met, and the two have grown ever closer as each day has passed... though they are still on a 'friend' basses, Nick thinks that - with some gentile prodding - it's about time they became something more. But when the city falls into chaos, will the strength they lend each other be enough for them to survive?

Choppy paced story and often slow. Not much fluff. Storywise it starts okay, but it is degrading.
Nick's character comes off with too heavy loaded criminal past. The story becomes better in the middle.Boge characterized quite well. This is because most often we get to know him by his acting and speaking.
Finnick and also Nick are bent into some really shifty and characters with a sinister and crime loaded back story and that makes them less likable.
Changing Fin into a drug dealer as well as committing a heinous crime will likely aggravate fans, and it also makes him an unlikeable character.
I think the fluff-tag is somewhat false marketing. Not much fluff in this story.
Descriptions of the city and some background and events are often long and elaborate. Overall I think this story is way too slow told, except for the few action episodes that on the other hand are sometimes choppy and short.
One of the villains henchmen seems to be a cyborg and that does not really fit the story.
This is also one of the many characters and events that are left without any explanation or resolution. The writer has no clear goal on where to go with this story.
The ending is a disaster and it leaves so many loose ends hanging and is very unfulfilling. Sequel makes it even worse and no resolutions in sight.
