Wild Thoughts

Chapter Text

One, two, three.

Todoroki watched as a random women at the end of the bar took three consecutive shots of tequila before throwing her hand up for another, bringing her to a grand total of thirteen that evening alone.

Approaching her, Todoroki plastered on the best smile he could muster.

“Another one!” She demanded, pushing her dark black hair out of her face.

Wow, loud much?

“Don’t you think that’s enough miss?” Todoroki said. “Why don’t I call a cab and you call it a night.”

“No! I will decide when I’m done, Thank you very much.”

Todoroki kept his eyes focused on the woman’s face out of fear they might roll away any minute. “Please, miss. Let’s not make a scene.”

“Fine!” She exclaimed.

Todoroki’s eyes widen. Really?

She leaned over the bar and grabbed a fistful of Todoroki’s shirt, “I’ll go home, as long you come with me.”

Todoroki didn't respond but instead searched her eyes for any sign that she wasn't completely insane. For a brief moment he felt as if he had seen her somewhere before but quickly disregarded thought as he grabbed her wrist and pulled it off his shirt. Her lips parted slightly as she gasped, looking up at Todoroki in bafflement.

“What the hell was that?” She said, the tone of her voice now far from friendly. “I’m giving you the chance to have sex with me and your turning it down?! What kind of man does that?”

Ah yes a man turns down an invitation to have sex from a complete stranger and suddenly he’s the weird one?

“A gay one.” A voice responded in Todoroki's stead. Oh?

Todoroki turned his head to see that Midoriya had positioned himself a few seats down, along with Uraraka and Iida.

“Hey guys. I didn’t notice you come in.”

“It’s okay you were working.” Iida said, taking note of the situation.

"Are you off yet?" Midoriya questioned, ignoring the woman’s presence.

Looking up at the clock, Todoroki lips went agape. “Yeah. Twenty minutes ago actually. I didn’t realize it had already gotten so late.”

Without saying another word to the strange woman, Todoroki made his way over to his friends.

"That’s okay! At least now you can drink with us!" Midoriya exclaimed, "Iida got a promotion today, so we have to celebrate!"

Todoroki laughed as he began taking off his apron, "Yeah I can’t. I have to work tomorrow and the last thing I need is a hangover on top of that."

"Awe! Come on just one drink," Midoriya insisted leaning over the bar and closer to Todoroki.

"Yeah! Come on!" Uraraka chimed in.

"You never know, maybe you can talk to some guys, get some numbers, take someone home?" Midoriya said trying his best to speak persuasively, which only resulted in further laughter from Todoroki.

Pulling out a handful of small paper slips from his pocket, Todoroki set them on the bar.

“Are those?”

“Yup.”

Midoriya threw his hands up in defeat as he sat back down on his stool. "I don’t get it. What do you have that I don’t?”

“Well for starters; he’s tall, he has good hair, a deep voice. Kind mysterious.” Uraraka explained, garnering an unamused glare from Midoriya. “Sorry Deku. You have your charms too.” She relented.

“Really? Like what?”

“Um,” Uraraka stuttered looking up at the ceiling. Twiddling her fingers in the process.

Leaving them to argue Midoriya’s charms, Todoroki disappeared into the back to grab his things. Shoving all his stuff into his bag he let out a sigh at the thought of coming into work the next day.

“Hey Todoroki.”

Speak of the devil.

Todoroki turned around to see his boss standing at the doorway.

“Yeah?”

“I forgot, are you scheduled to work tomorrow?”

“Yeah?”

“What about Sunday?”

“No.”

“Do you-”

“No.” He stated firmly then paused before relenting, “Sorry I cherish my Sundays.” Todoroki offered him an apologetic look. “See you Monday.”

With that Todoroki gave a small bow before leaving the staff room and rejoining his friend at the bar.

"Alright, everyone. I’m leaving, don't get too wasted alright?" He commented as he approached them.

“I’ll make sure they get home alright. So worry not.” Iida stated confidently, holding his hand up as if to pledge so.

Todoroki let out yet another small chuckle, "I’ll take your word for that.”

“Are you sure you can’t stay for at least one drink?” Midoriya pleaded once more.

To which Todoroki respond by shaking his head, “Sorry. I wish I could, but maybe another time.”

“Fine! But your penalty for not drinking with us is that you have to bring Kacchan with you the next time we get together.”

“Oh yeah,” Uraraka started. “Deku told me you two were living together? How is that going.”

“It’s going fine.” Todoroki said simply, more focused on Midoriya’s request. “And as far as bringing him with me next time, I’ll try but I don't think he would come even if I asked."

Midoriya gave a soft smile and small shrug, "You got a better chance at persuading him than me. I mean you guys live together, doesn’t that mean you two are like best friends now or something."

"Not really, no. But-”

"It doesn't matter. If you don't wanna ask that's fine. At least tell him I said hi." Midoriya requested, ending the conversation.

Letting it go, Todoroki nodded. “All right. Will do. I’ll see you guys around.”

Making his way towards the doors, Todoroki couldn’t help but noticed a couple positioned in the corner that was near the door.

Is that?

It was the same women from earlier. She was pinned to the wall making out with some other stranger. Todoroki felt a twinge of guilt in his stomach. Maybe he should of pushed harder for her to go home instead of abandoning her once everyone showed up. Remembering the look in her eyes, Todoroki pondered what could of happened that as a result left her alone in a bar, drinking away her sorrows and prepared to jump into bed with just about anyone. It’s one thing to go out with the intention of getting laid but it completely different if you’re just throwing yourself onto the nearest stranger with no regard for your own morals or safety at all. Shaking his head sadly, Todoroki continued out the door.

Ever since high school Todoroki had always used his walks home as a chance to reflect. Things recently began to fall into routine: go to work, go home, go to sleep, wake up, eat and then repeat. Only occasionally going out here and there. The thought of going out bringing Midoriya’s request to mind once more.

“..bring Kacchan with you next time..”

It had already been eight months since Bakugou and Todoroki started living with each other and for the most part things were going quite smoothly. Though Todoroki was unsure at first, he liked to believe it had brought Bakugou and him closer. Despite not being that close in high school, Todoroki alway did admire Bakugou. He wanted to believe that Bakugou viewed him as a friend. So it made Todoroki happy when Bakugou had decided to open up about being gay with him. Though there was nothing wrong with that, Todoroki found it more or less shocking as he never expected Bakugou of all people to swing that way. Though it was not as if Todoroki had ever questioned what Bakugou's sexual life was like either. Such as the types of kinks he had, the faces he made when he came, or the types of lovers he sought after. Although Todoroki knew one thing for sure and that was that Bakugou definitely wasn't the type to take it in the ass.

Such thoughts quickly evaded his mind as he approached his apartment door. Opening the door he was surprised to find that all the lights were off.

Is he not home yet?

Taking off his shoes, he flicked on the light near the entrance and called out for his roommate. “Bakugou?”

No response.

Peeking into both the living room and the kitchen, Bakugou was nowhere to be found.

Thump .

A small noise drew Todoroki’s attention towards the hallway. Freezing in place, he listened closely for any further sound.

"Fuck! Yes there!" A voice called out.

Todoroki’s hand flung up to his mouth, Is that?

Shaking his head, Todoroki convinced himself it couldn't be. Bakugou had always texted him when he needed the house for the night. That was what they had agreed they would do when they moved in together, he wouldn’t bring someone back without doing so.

Shit !

Slinging the bag off his shoulder, Todoroki dug around in it. Only to find his phone at the bottom, still turned off from when he was at work, and just as he expected the first thing that popped up when he turned it on was a text from Bakugou.

Bakugou: Hey, don't come home anytime before midnight. I need to use the house.

Formal as always during text, Todoroki felt a pit grow in his stomach as he read the words on his screen.

"Yes! Yes! Yes! Right there!" The voice cried out continuously.

Todoroki glanced towards Bakugou’s door, If I leave right now he’ll never know I was here. In spite of Todoroki’s conscience, his legs edged him near Bakugou’s bedroom door.

“Fuck,” Bakugou groaned, breathlessness gaining prominence in his voice.

Before Todoroki knew the full extent of his own actions he had already found himself just outside Bakugou’s door. The two mingling voice now so clear from the other side.

The unknown man’s whimpering, the slight creak of the bed, the light thud each time the headboard hit the wall.

"They're really going at it." Todoroki thought to himself as he laid his his head on the door unconsciously. Though just the light pressure of his head alone was enough to push the door open small bit.

Oh?

Taking a shallow breath, Todoroki stepped back.

This is so wrong.

The more Todoroki tried to convince himself, the more he wanted to look. His heart thumping quiet loudly as the angel and devil on his shoulders fought.

Todoroki took yet another step back, as if talking himself down from a ledge.

"I'm coming!" The man’s sultry voice echoed throughout the apartment.

"No! Not yet!" Bakugou's irritated voice followed suit.

Don't look. Don't look. Don't look.

"Don't squeeze me so tight idiot!" Bakugou demanded, his voice disgruntled.

Todoroki flushed red but it was only momentarily as the heat went from his face to his crotch in a mere matter of minutes.

Okay, just one little peek .

He peered into the room carefully, his eyes widening at the sight before him.

Todoroki didn't recognize the man Bakugou was fucking but for as much as he was seeing right now it was hard to call them strangers. His mouth was wide open as a mixture moans and whimpers escaped his lips. Bakugou's head tilted back in pleasure as he ruthlessly thrusted again and again, the man legs hooked over Bakugou's shoulders as he rammed his dick into him over and over, each time going all the way to the hilt.

Todoroki swallowed hard as he watched droplets of sweat fall from Bakugou's forehead.

"This is bad." Todoroki mumbled to himself, what he did was bad. Everything about this was bad, but why was he getting excited?

Quickly backing away Todoroki shuffled quietly to his room at the other end of the hall. Once inside he fell to the floor, breathing heavily. Taking a look inside his pants, his dick was still slightly erect and his underwear soaked in pre-cum.

"What a mess." He whispered to the empty room. Leaning the back of his head against the door, he recounted everything that had just happened.

Todoroki had never viewed any of his friends in a sexual light, but as of that moment the only image in his mind of Bakugou was of him ramming his dick into someone's ass.

" It looked like it felt good ." Todoroki thought as he remembered the other man's moans.

But that doesn't mean I want to have sex with him.

Todoroki shook his head, frantically pushing such thoughts away. Besides, he had been right about his roommate. Bakugou was a top just like Todoroki so it would never work. Them together that is.

“Wait why am I-” Todoroki cut off his own thoughts before Standing up and making his way to the bathroom that was on the other side of his room.

I should just go to bed and forget any of this ever happened.

As he undressed to take a shower, Todoroki caught a glance of himself in the mirror. Examining his physical features, he once again came to the conclusion that sex between him and Bakugou's could never happen. Todoroki was too tall, his arm were too muscular, and his shoulder were too broad shoulders. Unlike the stranger in Bakugou's bed there was nothing cute about Todoroki's body.

“This needs to stop." He repeated aloud to his reflect. Why am I even entertaining this idea?! It's not like I actually want to have sex with him! Pulling his gaze away from his reflection, Todoroki got into the shower. Trying to use the sound of the running water as a distraction. However no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get Bakugou out of his mind. The memories of what he had seen just kept flashing like pictures inside his head.

Reaching down Todoroki hand's found his cock as he unconsciously began stroking himself. Bakugou's moans replayed in his mind over and over. He couldn't help but be curious. Curious of how many men had Bakugou done it with? Was it always that intense? Was he really as good as it seemed? He could clearly remember the look of Bakugou's flustered face as thrusted his cock in and out of his partners ass.

Fuck.

Todoroki let out a moan as his cum landed on the shower floor and a small bit over his hand. The sensation of such pulling him from his memories.

Todoroki looked down, almost disappointed with himself as he spoke “This is troublesome."

Chapter Text

Bakugou groaned as he stepped out of his room still half asleep. While he had never really been a morning person for some unknown reason his body always naturally woke up early. Making his way into the kitchen he found Todoroki standing at the counter, quietly sipping on a cup of coffee.

"Morning." He mumbled as he walked past him.

"Morning." Todoroki responded promptly.

Bakugou opened the fridge, scanning it for something to eat, only to freeze in place as he could feel a pair of eyes burning into his back. Turning around his gaze met Todoroki's.

Unsure of what exactly was going on he shook his head from side to side in confusion gruffly asking, "Can I help you?"

Todoroki quickly averted his gaze to the cup of coffee in his hands before responding, "No, sorry I was just spacing out."

Despite the odd response, Bakugou shrugged his shoulders before turning his attention back to the fridge.

" The was close ." Todoroki thought to himself.

Feeling slightly embarrassed he kept his eyes glued to his cup, his index finger tracing the rim as he remained in thought.Telling Bakugou that he watched him have sex last night then that he proceeded to jerk off thinking about it while in the shower was not necessarily on Todoroki's to-do list for the day. Though he couldn't deny that was the only thing he'd thought about all night and all he had been thinking about since he woke up that morning. After seeing Bakugou in such a erotic state, it felt almost weird to see him act so normally.

"So what time did you get back last night?" Bakugou asked, interrupting Todoroki's ongoing stream of thoughts.

For moment Todoroki felt his heart sink, like he had suddenly been exposed. "I'm not sure, uhh I was hammered! Yeah… I ended up drinking with Midoriya and oh man I think I had too much. When I got back last night I ended up just passing out almost immediately… You know?" He quickly blurted out in a blatant lie.

"Uh sure..." Bakugou responded, taking a moment to note his friend's shaky behavior. "You know you're being really fucking weird this morning."

"Oh really? Sorry." Todoroki said, desperately trying to act normal.

"So… Um. How was your night?" He asked in an attempt to shift the topic off himself.

"Fine, I guess." Bakugou responded in a suspicious tone of voice, "Why do you ask?"

"Oh… Uh… Well just, you sent me that text saying you needed to use the house so I was just wondering if everything… You know went smoothly."

Bakugou squinted his eyes in confusion, "Okay first of all, since when do you ever ask about that type of shit, let alone care? And second of all, last time I checked it was none of your goddamn business."

Todoroki knew immediately that he had overstepped his boundaries. Although despite knowing that Bakugou wasn't an open person, his sudden outburst brought on a certain level on anxiety. As Todoroki could only imagine how Bakugou would respond if he had decided to tell him what happened last night.

"You know you're right. I'm sorry," Todoroki stated promptly as he got up and placed his cup in the sink. "I'm suppose to meet Midoriya for lunch, so I should probably start getting dress." He lied again.

Without saying another word Todoroki quickly made his way to his bedroom, leaving Bakugou still standing confused in the kitchen.

Grabbing his phone off the nightstand he dialed Midoriya. The first few calls going directly to voicemail. Eventually on the sixth call Midoriya answered in a grumpy tone of voice, "What do you want?!"

"Hey, I need you to meet me at that Cafe across the street from my work in like 30 minutes."

"What?! No! I'm sleeping!" Midoriya exclaimed.

"Just do it! I have something I need to talk to you about!" Todoroki argued through the phone before hanging up without even giving Midoriya a chance to reply.

"Ughh the sun hurts," Midoriya complained as he arrived outside the small cafe.

"Sorry, for making you come." Todoroki apologized, feeling bad because it was obvious his friend was hung over.

"No you're not," Midoriya responded plainly, "If you were actually sorry I would still be sleeping right now. You're buying me some damn coffee."

Going up to the counter, Midoriya ordered some coffee and a bagel while Todoroki opted for a bottle of juice. After sitting down, they sat in silence for awhile before Midoriya finally spoke up "So are you gonna tell me why you dragged me out here at the ass crack of dawn on a Saturday morning? Or what?"

Todoroki fumbled with a bottle cap in his hands, unsure exactly of how to phrase any of this. Hell, he didn't even know what exactly it was he wanted from this meeting or if he should even tell Midoriya about the whole Bakugou thing.

"Midoriya, you bottom right...during sex that is?" Todoroki finally asked with a straight face.

Looking at his friend in shock, Midoriya briefly questioned if he actually was hearing correctly.

"What?"

Todoroki hesitated before repeating himself nervously, "Do you bottom during sex?"

Just about choking on his bagel, Midoriya couldn't help but be confused. Sure he and Todoroki had talked about guys in the past and Midoriya often went to Todoroki for advice but never did they actually get on the topic of sex.

"Why do you want to know?" Midoriya countered.

A silence fell between them as Todoroki pondered why exactly he choose that starting point. Another few moments passed before Midoriya spoke up again, "I don't consider myself a hard bottom. Though I don't really like being on top so I guess I'm just whatever the person I'm having sex with isn't."

"Does it feel good to be on the bottom?"

"I'm not answering anymore of your questions in till you give me an explanation!" Midoriya declared.

Todoroki was in a difficult position; Midoriya had been his friends for years, but a part of him didn't want to tell him about Bakugou and he couldn't understand why. He knew Midoriya would never tell anyone else but for some reason Todoroki still wanted to keep it a secret. Something only he knew.

"I'm thinking about trying it… Bottoming that is." He said bluntly. It wasn't a complete lie, since last night Todoroki couldn't get the idea out of his head. Though he still wasn't sure if he would like it.

"What?" Midoriya responded trying to process in his mind exactly what it was Todoroki was telling him, "Wait. What?!"

"I'm not gonna say it again." Todoroki mumbled slightly embarrassed.

Taking a deep breath, Midoriya couldn't hide his surprise. Feeling a bit agitated Todoroki glared at his green haired friend with discontent.

Letting out a sigh Midoriya looked at his friend apologetically, "Sorry for being shocked. I mean don't take this the wrong way, but you just never seemed like the type to you know… Take it."

"Cause I'm not."

"Then, why are you..." Midoriya trailed off mid-sentence looking for another way to approach the situation before speaking again, "Okay… Regardless of whatever is going on. If you're interested in trying to do… That. Then just go find someone."

"Is it that easy?"

"Well I mean you've never had a problem picking up guys in the past?"

"Yeah but they usually approach me..and plus they're always bottoms."

"Then approach them? Granted you can't always tell if somebody is a bottom or a top just from looks alone but there are some clues that can help narrow it down a bit."

"I can't."

Midoriya was bewildered at this response throwing his hands in the air, "Then I don't know what you want from me! If you wanna get fucked you're gonna have to put in effort!"

His sudden outburst now making them center of attention as people stared in confusion. Todoroki could feel as the heat arose onto his face causing him to sink into his seat embarrassed.

Letting out a sigh Midoriya leaned in so he could speak in a whispered voice, "I'm not trying be mean but in all seriousness, it's not like I have a pocket full of guys with their dicks out ready to dive into you like a swimming pool."

"I know that!" Todoroki snapped back, "Besides I never asked you to help me find someone!"

"Then what was the point of this entire conversation?"

"I just.." Todoroki tried to put the words together in his head but no matter how he twisted it, there was no way it was not gonna come off as weird.

“You just what?” Midoriya pushed.

Though what he wanted to ask was unusual, Todoroki knew if he had to ask anyone, it would be Midoriya.

“I wanted to know...if...it… You know… Feels as good as it looks?” He said sheepishly.

“That’s it?” Midoriya clarified.

“Yeah.”

Fearing the worst reaction Todoroki was surprised at Midoriya's simple response, “Well I guess it kinda depends on who you’re doing it with. I mean if your asking because your scared about your ass possibly being ripped in two, I would suggest finding someone with experience.”

Todoroki nodded, grateful for Midoriya's advice despite knowing it was an obvious answer.

“You know you're still as bad a conversationalist as ever.” Midoriya commented before getting up to buy another cup of coffee.

Left alone with his thoughts, Todoroki was still somewhat unsatisfied with the situation. Though he was aware what Midoriya said earlier was right, the only way to get rid of this curiosity was to do it. However a few questions still remained, who was he gonna do it with and where would he find them?

Chapter Text

Todoroki sighed as he looked back at the clock for the hundredth time since his shift started. It was only eight pm and knowing there was still another four hours left to his shift was stressful. Tonight alone he had already broken three glasses, mixed up a bunch of peoples orders and spilled someone's drink all over them.

"Hey, are you alright?" His boss asked, approaching Todoroki with a concerned look on his face.

"Yeah, I'm fine, it's… Just been a long week." Todoroki lied, trying not to make it utterly obvious that nothing was in fact fine at the moment.

His boss, though not completely confident in Todoroki’s response, decided not to question it any further. "Well, you're off tomorrow right? Just try to make it through these next few hours okay."

Watching his boss walk away, Todoroki let out a groan. Never had he let himself get so distracted at work but no matter what he did, Bakugou was still on his mind and the meeting he had with Midoriya only added to that.

"Flirting… Huh?" He whispered to himself as he began to clean one of the empty booths.

Todoroki had already come to the conclusion that the only way to relieve himself of this new curiosity was to find a decent guy that wanted to, well, put it in. But even though the needed circumstances seemed simple enough, Todoroki was never the type to be approached by such guys and the idea of going from being the chased to the chaser was slightly uncomfortable. He could barely hold a simple conversion with someone he knew, so the thought of hitting on a complete stranger was absolutely horrifying. However, the thought of going home and demanding Bakugou to take responsibility for the situation was even more horrific. Not that Todoroki had ever actually considered doing such a thing.

As he made his way behind the bar, a customer called out to him "Can I get a Highball?"

"Yeah coming right up!"

Pulling out a Collins glass, he began cutting it with ice before he proceed to pour out the excess water a few seconds later. Looking up briefly Todoroki was met with the intense gaze of the customer who stood in front of him.

"Uh hi..." Todoroki spoke nervously, giving the man a questionable look.

"Hi." The man replied simply as he continued to watch Todoroki prepare the drink.

"Is he trying to hit on me or something?" Todoroki thought to himself as he poured whiskey in the glass. "No, no this must be his." He reasoned.

Although without even realizing it, Todoroki found himself taking another glance at the man as he mixed club soda into the drink. The guy wasn't bad looking; broad shoulders, tall, sharp eyes. Todoroki had never considered what his type was but simply felt he knew a good looking man when he saw one.

Topping off the drink with a twisted lemon, he slid it across the counter.

"Guessing this is yours."

The man gave a small chuckle, "Afraid not."

Todoroki's eyes widen in embarrassment as he quickly called out over the bar "Who ordered the Highball!"

A person a few seats away raised their hand and Todoroki walked over handing them their drink in exchange for some cash, before promptly returning himself to his previous position in front of the strange man.

"Sorry about that, you were just watching so closely I thought it was yours." Todoroki laughed sheepishly, trying to not make the situation anymore awkward.

"Nope, I was just admiring the art," The man said bluntly with a smirk.

"Wow he doesn't hold back." Todoroki thought as he pondered what exactly to do next. He tried to remember all the boys that had hit on him in the past and what tactics they had used. Obviously what they do must work to some extent, that was how they got him into bed.

" Okay what was it? " Todoroki contemplated as he tried recollecting the past interactions in his head. There was that blonde boy Todoroki slept with last week who had grasped onto Todoroki's arm outside the bar and introduced himself very cutely. Though Todoroki didn't think it was much of a tactic to be cute or anything, the boy seemed to be naturally that adorable.

Catching his reflection in the window Todoroki looked at himself disappointed, "Not cute at all." He mumbled quietly.

Shaking his head Todoroki took a deep breath, regardless of how he felt about his appearance he didn't want to lose this opportunity.

Gently tapping his shoulder, Todoroki regained the man's attention. Focusing his gaze on the man's Todoroki offered his best smile, "I'm Shou-"

A women's voice called out across the bar cutting off his introduction, "AKECHI!!"

To Todoroki’s surprise the man's gaze tore away becoming focused on the women making her way across the bar. Confused Todoroki continued watching as the scene unfolded before him. Once the girl found her way in front of the man, they embraced each other tightly.

Feeling a bit uncomfortable Todoroki took a small step back, " Wait… Is he not gay? "

The man turned his attention back to Todoroki, "Uh sorry what were you saying?"

"Nothing!” Todoroki blurted out almost defensively, “Just making small talk you know."

The man smirked once more before pulling a small card out of his jacket pocket and handing it to Todoroki, "You know you're quite skilled at making drinks plus you're young too. I think your image would fit in well at one of my Tokyo clubs. If you ever wanna leave this place for bigger and better things… Give me a call."

With that the man left, leaving Todoroki utterly embarrassed and also discouraged. Groaning Todoroki glared at the small card in his hand, "What did I do in my past life to deserve this?”

He couldn't help but feel irritated. After building up all that courage… What does he get? Nothing but stupid job offer he didn’t want. Crumbling the card up into a small ball he shoved it in his pocket. Desperately wanting to forget everything that just happened.

As the night dragged on Todoroki could’t find the courage to try talking to another man as the fear of making himself look stupid again was too great.

“How do people do this so easily.” He grumbled as he wiped off the counter.

"Two Kamikazes!" A woman called out, grabbing Todoroki’s attention from the end of the bar. Quickly making the drinks, Todoroki carried them to over to where she sat only to meet the gaze of a familiar pair of dark eyes, "Ashido?"

"Todoroki?"

The two stared in shock at each other for a bit before Ashido spoke up, "I didn't know you worked here!"

Todoroki face softened as his lips turned upward into a smile, "Yeah..I've worked here for a while now. What about you?! Last I heard, you were in Thailand."

Ashido laughed, "Yeah I was but my little sister's getting married in two weeks so I figured I'd come help her out a bit you know."

"Wow… That's amazing. But wait isn't she only 19 though?"

Ashido sighed at this fact, "Yeah but apparently she loves the poor guy. So it is what it is. Though I have to admit it does make me feel kind of old."

Todoroki nodded in agreement, he was only 22 years old and marriage seemed like such a far off possibility. Not that he could ever actually get married.

"Hopefully though I can get married soon too."

Todoroki's eyes widened at this sudden statement, "Oh, you're seeing someone?"

"Yeah, I met a girl while I was in Thailand. I guess you can say it kind of just happened."

"A girl?" Todoroki started, "I didn't even know you were lesbian?"

"Eh, I identify as pan but to be honest I was surprised too. Like I said it just just kind of happened."

Todoroki smiled, "Well regardless..I'm happy for you."

"Thanks," Ashido smiled sliding over one of her shots to Todoroki and holding up the other in her right hand "To my future marriage?"

Hesitant at first Todoroki picked up the small glass clinking it against Ashido's, "I hope you guys live long and happy."

Quaffing the alcohol down in one gulp, Todoroki pursed his lips together in a straight line until the taste faded from his mouth.

"So what are you up to these days? I heard you got a new place." Ashido asked.

Todoroki nodded as he disposed of the two shot glasses, "Yeah me and Bakugou moved into a nice apartment not far from here little under a year ago."

Turning back around Todoroki was met with a surprised expression, "You and Bakugou? Living together? How did that happen?!"

"Well we-"

"Oh my god don't tell me you guys are dating?!" Ashido squealed.

Todoroki could feel his face suddenly turning hot, "No! It's not like that!"

"Whatever! That's not what your face is saying." Ashido teased.

Quickly hiding his cheeks. Todoroki did his best to correct her, "We're just roommates!"

Ashido covered her mouth unable to stop her seemingly never ending stream of laughter, "Yeah right! My parents also think my girlfriend and I are just roommates."

Pouting Todoroki was unsure of how to convince her. From what he remember Ashido had always been like this. She was never the type to jump to conclusions, she skydived into them.

Deciding to wait it out, Todoroki stood quietly until her laughter finally died down, "I'm sorry..I don't mean to laugh. It's just you guys are such an odd pair. It's hard to imagine."

Her words causing an uneasy feeling in Todoroki stomach. As he smiled his mind only confirming the statement, “ She's right there is no way we would go together ."

"Can we get three beers down here please?" A man shouted from the opposite end of the bar.

Todoroki nodded at them, "Yeah just a moment!"

Turning his attention back to Ashido, she was already standing up.

"Don’t let me keep you from your work. I should be getting home soon anyways." She said with a smile as she stuffed her phone and wallet into her purse.

"By the way, I don’t know if you have my number so I wrote it down for you. Make sure to text me sometime. It's nice to see old faces every once in awhile and I was friends with Bakugou for most of High school so if you ever need some advice I'm here," She continued. "Also! Don't worry, I can tell you don't really want anyone to know about you guys yet so my lips are sealed!"

Before he could respond she gave him a small wave before dashing out the door.

Despite the big misunderstanding Todoroki smiled at the sudden encounter, she was right it was nice to see an old face every once in awhile.

Putting away the last of the clean glasses, Todoroki let out a sigh of relief. The night was finally over and the day was done.

Pulling out his phone it also felt nice to see there were no new notifications. Even though Bakugou never brought home someone two days in a row, Todoroki liked knowing he was going home to one person not two.

Walking into the back, Todoroki retrieved his bag from the employee locker room, slinging it across his shoulder lazily.

"Alright I'm heading out! See you guys Monday." He called out to his co-workers before leaving the bar.

Stepping outside the air was cold and brisk, making Todoroki feel somewhat refreshed. Slumping his shoulders he began to walk home, his mind still trying to make sense of all the events that had happened in the last 24hrs.

Looking at the ground he kicked a small pebble forwards a few feet, "Everything's become so complicated."

"What has?" A voice asked from behind him. Turning around Todoroki was met with the same ash blonde hair and red eyes which had been plaguing his thoughts all day. Unable to respond Todoroki stood frozen as Bakugou approached him.

"What’s complicated?" Bakugou asked, leaning in closely until their noses were not even an inch apart.

" Too close! " Todoroki thought to himself, his mind suddenly sent into a state of panic.

Trying to keep his cool he pushed Bakugou back by his shoulder, "What was it you said again? Oh right, none of your goddamn business?"

Bakugou's eyes sharpened at Todoroki's mocking response but after a moment they softened as a chuckle escaped his lips, "Fuck you. I don't care if you tell me or not anyways."

As Bakugou walked ahead Todoroki picked up his pace in an effort to keep up, "What are you doing out so late anyways?"

Bakugou stared at Todoroki for a while debating if he felt like responding or not before letting out a sigh, "I was visiting someone earlier and decided to grab some beer on my way back home.

Visiting someone? Todoroki's mind wondered at who that person could be. Another man perhaps.

"Oh… Alright, well let's walk back together then." Todoroki suggested without thinking.

Bakugou look at his roommate confused before shrugging his shoulders, "Do whatever you want, let's just get home before I fucking freeze to death."

Chapter Text

"I can't believe you did that!" Bakugou laughed. Todoroki having explained his failed attempt at hitting on someone.

Todoroki shrugged his shoulders trying to hide his nervousness by taking another swig of his beer.

"I didn't think you had in you to be honest. The man was probably terrified." Bakugou continued. His words slurring together, "Just give me one night with him though and he'll never want to go back to pussy!"

Taken aback by his roommates sudden forwardness, Todoroki shifted uncomfortably in his seat. He figured Bakugou probably thought he was looking for a cute guy to bang As Todoroki had knowingly omitted the fact that he was looking for someone to fuck him and not vice versa. Taking another drink, Todoroki finished off what was left of his beer in one go.

"Damn I need to find someone though, I haven't had a good fuck in awhile!" Bakugou complained aloud to Todoroki's complete surprise.

Blinking a few times, he gave Bakugou a confused look as he continued to ramble on in discontent about his sex life.

"I mean my usual hook ups start off good but damn people lose stamina way too fucking fast." Bakugou explained. Him being open about such a topic was unheard of, though admittedly it was probably the alcohol doing most of the talking. Todoroki only being slightly buzzed, was still at a complete lost for words; which left the room to fall into silence as he fiddled with the empty can in his hand.

Todoroki did not have much experience drinking with Bakugou in the past, as it usually only happened for celebratory reasons but he never imagined Bakugou would have such a loose tongue after a few beers.

"It been like four years.. since I.. had good sex.. with someone I was actually..compatible with...you know.." Bakugou groaned, hiccuping every few words. "I'm always..left un..satisfied..you know?"

Though shocked, Todoroki wondered if Bakugou had a first love or who was the last person he felt compatible with. Four years ago? They were just finishing high school. So Bakugou was aware he was gay even then? Was his first time with someone Todoroki knew? or was it with a stranger?

Todoroki's head spun with so many different questions as he reached for another beer, only to find the box empty. Looking around he counted how many he had already drank. Finding just two cans in the area where he was sitting. Which could only mean that Bakugou drank the rest. Concerned, Todoroki crawled over to where Bakugou sat with his head laid on the table. Six empty cans sprawled out around him.

"Don't you think you overdid it?" Todoroki questioned, giving Bakugou a light shove.

Jolting up Bakugou grabbed Todoroki by the wrist, their gazes locking with each other as a strange mixture of sexual tension and anxiety filled the room.

"W-What?" Todoroki stuttered, shaken by his roommates sudden actions.

Bakugou didn't respond, his bloodshot eyes not even blinking as he exhaled. The smell of beer filling the air between them.

Instinctively Todoroki pulled away, expecting Bakugou to release his grip. Though to much of his dismay, Bakugou fell forward. The weight of them combined, causing Todoroki to fall flat on his back. With both of his hands on either side of Todoroki's head, Bakugou hovered over him. Swaying ever so often as he tried to withhold his weight.

"What are y--"

Todoroki words caught in his throat as Bakugou's  body lower slowly as if he was gradually losing strength. His left knee separating Todoroki's legs as he fell on top Todoroki. A tingling sensation spreading throughout Todoroki as Bakugou fell, the forward motion pushing up his shirt just a bit. With his skin now slightly exposed, Todoroki's mind was becoming increasingly clouded as Bakugou's face  got closer to his. So close that Todoroki could feel Bakugou's breath on his lips.

"He can't be.." Todoroki's mind was screamed, every part of him begging for him to push his drunk roommate off of him.

As his lips got closer, Todoroki felt like all the air had been pulled from his lungs.

Bakugou's lips landed just at the corner of Todoroki's mouth before tracing across his cheek. Unable to move, Todoroki laid frozen as Bakugou's mouth found it's way to his ear. A shiver coursed through Todoroki's body as Bakugou bit his earlobe lightly before tugging on it.

Todoroki could feel his face flushing red and his heart picking up in pace.

Suddenly the sensation of Bakugou's teeth where gone and an unanticipated weight overcame him.

Todoroki looked up at the ceiling blankly as his thoughts puzzled themselves back together.

Tilting his head as much to the side as he could, he eyed Bakugou. The blonde boy laid unconscious on top of Todoroki, eyes closed and he breathing gentle.

Taking a deep breath, Todoroki pushed Bakugou off him and to the side.

Looking at his friend in discontent he groaned, "You're really unfair you know."

Although Todoroki had come to his sense, his problem downstairs wasn't letting up and the tent in his pants still very much there.

Feeling a bit guilty Todoroki quickly made his way to the bathroom, leaving Bakugou still unconscious on the floor.

Hastily stripping his pants off, Todoroki's hand slipped down his body and started to stroke himself eagerly. The precum that had already start to spill over the tip of his cock made it easy for him to rub his hand up and down his length with a quickening pace. Feeling all reason slip away Todoroki allowed his imagination to wonder.

Recalling Bakugou's hot breath on his lips, his teeth  pulling on Todoroki's ear.

Images flashing rapidly within his mind, making him feel as if he could replace himself in the situation.

Todoroki began to envision what it would be like to be in that position. To run his palm of hand over his partners back, dig his nails into them. To take them in all the way, be completely filled by someone else. Their warmth, their moans, their everything.

Feeling himself climax, his cum shot up and all over his hand before landing on the floor.

Exhaling heavily, Todoroki stared and the puddle of cum on the floor in disgust. Unable to make sense of his own actions. Grabbing some toilet paper he quickly cleaned up the mess he had made and washed his hands.

Taking a look at his reflection in the mirror, he was disappointed with himself. He had never been the type to be such a pervert or to be turned on so easily. But for the past almost 24 hour his mind had been filled with nothing but sex.

"This has to stop." He said to himself, a strong resolve in his voice.

Exiting the bathroom, he made his way back into the living room. Bakugou still asleep on the floor, a small snore coming from him every once in awhile.

"This is all your fault." Todoroki grumbled, picking up his roommate off the floor and carrying him to his room.

"tiiirii..shit..ma.." Bakugou muttered in his sleep as Todoroki flopped him on to the bed.

"What?" Todoroki questioned Bakugou's indecipherable words.

After covering Bakugou in a blanket he headed towards the door. A gray box on the nightstand catching his eyes. Sagami Original Condoms.

Glancing at the box then at Bakugou, Todoroki quietly walked over and picked it up, pulling a condom out of it. He had heard of the brand before, it was supposedly the thinnest condom in Japan. Though it was hard to find them nowadays, as they weren't made in large stocks anymore.

Hesitant at first Todoroki stuffed one in his pocket before leaving the room.

Chapter Text

With morning having come and gone, the afternoon sun rose and broke through the window curtains. Filling Todoroki's room with overwhelming sunlight.

Groaning, he rolled over onto his back and opened his eyes. Staring blankly at the plain white ceiling above. "One..two..three.." Todoroki whispered, counting aloud the estimated number of hours he had managed to sleep. Today was his day off. Which made him ponder for a bit whether or not it was even worth it to get out of bed at all.

Pulling his comforter up over his head, he shielded himself from the sunlight and laid still for a few minutes before the apartment’s quiet atmosphere was unexpectedly interrupted by a loud crashing sound.

Quickly getting up out of bed, Todoroki peeked his head outside of his room. To which he heard a faint voice echoing from the kitchen. Despite being more than aware that it was probably Bakugou, his troublesome curiosity carried him down the hallway towards the noise. Upon reaching the still dark kitchen, he promptly flicked on the light to investigate.

"Ah Fuck! Turn it off! Turn it off you shithead!" His roommate snapped covering his eyes.

"Sorry, sorry." Todoroki apologized, flicking off the light once more. "What happened?"

"I accidentally dropped a glass mug." Bakugou explained as he angrily threw pieces of broken glass into the trash can.

"Here I'll get it. Just go sit down." Todoroki insisted, kneeling beside Bakugou. The vague smell of alcohol still present in the air between them.

Too tired to argue, Bakugou stood up and walked over to the kitchen table before plopping down onto one of the wooden seats.

"Did you just wake up?" Todoroki questioned, chucking another piece of the broken cup into the trash.

Using his right arm as pillow Bakugou laid his head on the table, "No I have been up for a few hours. Just couldn't bring myself to get out of bed."

"Why so early?"

"First of all. It was like 10am, not really that early. But even if it was, don’t act surprised. You know I always wake up early no matter the circumstances."

"Well regardless, I'm not surprised you had trouble getting out of bed. You drank a lot last night.."

"I only had three beers."

"Correction, all it took was three beers for you to forget the other three that came after."

Squinting his eyes, Bakugou rubbed his face with his free hand trying to shake his hangover. "Did anything happen last night?" He questioned, staring into the kitchen despite not being able to see Todoroki over the counter.

On the other side Todoroki was frozen in fear. “Did Bakugou remember? No, no it's okay, even if he did, I'm innocent. He attacked me..right? I did nothing wron--" Todoroki's conscience tried to reason the situation but was failing miserably. After a few minutes passed he ended up only being able to vocalize a single basic response "No, why do you ask?"

Bakugou paused, hiding his face in his arm as he spoke, "Uh..no reason." He lied.

Though Bakugou hated to admit it, his alcohol tolerance was practically non-existent and in the past it wasn't completely unusual for him to do some crazy things when he was drunk.

Todoroki stood up once all the glass was cleaned up and move the trashcan back to its usual spot by the fridge. He looked over at Bakugou, who still sitting at the table with his head buried in his arm.

"Why don't you go back to sleep if your still not feeling well?" Todoroki asked. With only a quick glance, it was obvious that Bakugou was extremely hungover and tired.

Bakugou groaned and looked up at Todoroki unamused, "Have you ever just woke up and even though you feel tired you can't go back to sleep?"

Todoroki nodded, allowing Bakugou to continue. "Yeah well that's pretty much what’s happening. So I had come out here to make coffee but ended up dropping a the cup and.." Trailing off, Bakugou avoided his roommates gaze. He hated explaining himself to other people, even when it came to trivial things.

"It must be the lingering alcohol from last night." Bakugou thought, placing blame for his clumsiness that morning.

Glancing at the clock, it was ready 1pm. He didn't have anything to do until later that night, which he was thankful for given his current state. However, recently the atmosphere in the apartment had been awkward as if Todoroki wasn't hiding something. Which frustrated Bakugou as he couldn't understand how this feeling had developed and why being around Todoroki was suddenly making him feel uneasy. Setting down a cup of coffee in front of Bakugou, Todoroki pulled the tired blonde from his thoughts.

"Oh uh thanks." Bakugou mumbled, sitting up straight to take a drink. He watched as Todoroki went back to the kitchen briefly before returning with his own cup.

"You got off today?" Bakugou questioned; trying to make conversation. Todoroki nodded, quietly sipping on his coffee.

Not sure how else to continue the conversation, the two fell quiet. The quietness only adding to Bakugou’s irritation; despite having known Todoroki for so long and even living with him these past few months he only now realized how hard to it is to make conversation.

They had always went about their own lives without minding eachother much; merely passing by one another on the day to day. Though honestly, Bakugou preferred it to be that way. Things weren't complicated and it was a good break from all the drama that had ensued with his last roommate but at the same time is also easier than living alone. Although Todoroki wasn't his ideal first choice, Bakugou couldn’t deny the fact that living with him was easy. However Bakugou being self aware of his attitude, wasn't sure that Todoroki could say the same.

As he continued to sip on his coffee Bakugou could vaguely remembered the day him and Todoroki decided to room with each other.

Aggravated, Bakugou slammed the empty glass down on bar. "Fuck!"

"Rough night?" The bartender asked nonchalantly.

"Stay out of my business," Bakugou snapped pushing his glass in the direction of the man. "Just do your damn job and give me refill."

Without say much more the bartender to the glass and walked away.

Letting out a angry sigh, Bakugou took a folded piece of paper out of his pocket. Reading the content of the note once more:

Sorry this is short notice but I don't think I can live with you anymore. If you would of told me you were gay before hand, I would have picked someone else to room with. Please disclose that information to any future roommates as it could save everyone a lot of trouble in the future. Also I am leaving on a trip and wish for you to have your stuff out by the end of the weekend. I hope you understand that I just can’t live with someone like you. No hard feelings.

"Fuck you, you bastard." Bakugou whispered; crumbling the note into a ball.

The bartender returned with his drink a few minutes later and said nothing as he set it down in front of Bakugou before walking away again.

Picking it up, Bakugou brought the glass to his lips stopping mid-way at the sound of his name being called. "Bakugou?"

Following the voice he was met with a familiar pair of heterochromatic eyes. "Todoroki?"

"Wow! It's been so long.." Todoroki started taking a seat next to Bakugou.

Shifting in his seat, Bakugou turned to look at his old classmate. He couldn't understand why Todoroki seemed so pleased to see him. It's not like they were friends in high school or anything.

"What are you doing here?" Bakugou asked, taking a sip of his drink.

"Celebrating."

"Celebrating what?"

"I dropped out of University?"

A small gasped caused Bakugou to nearly choke on his drink, "Is that really something you should be celebrating? Weren't you close to graduating?"

Todoroki nodded, "I was"

"Guess your more stupid than I remember." Bakugou said simply, looking away from the white and red haired boy.

"Maybe.." Todoroki replied; a small smile creeping its way onto his lips. "But I think it's better this way. I want to find my dream, you know?"

"Your dream?"

"Yeah. I mean going into Business was my dad's idea, I never really considered what I wanted to do."

Bakugou looked at Todoroki with one eyebrow raised and questionable look on his face. "So what are gonna do now? How did your parents take it?"

"Well..my dad was furious, no surprise there. But my mom just told me that she hopes I figure things out."

"That cool of her."

"Yeah, but I need to find a job and a get a new place to stay till I figure things out."

Bakugou's eyes widen in surprise, "You're moving out of your parent's house?"

"Yup, not real voluntarily though. Once my dad found out I was gonna take a break from school he kicked me out. Told be come back when I was thinking rationally."

Laughing Bakugou took another drink of his glass, "Guess even people like you can disappoint their parents."

Unsure exactly what Bakugou meant by that, Todoroki let the comment roll off his shoulders. "Yeah, I guess so."

"So have you had any luck finding a place?"

Todoroki rested his chin on his palm before responding, "Not yet. It's harder than I thought it would be to find a one-bedroom in the Tokyo area. I might need to find someone to room with."

Bakugou's conscience begged him not to say anything, that he should simply wish Todoroki good luck and move on. However, something in his gut felt that it was too good of an opportunity to pass up.

"Well you know...I've been looking for a new place too." Bakugou commented.

Todoroki looked at his friend stunned, "I thought you would be rooming on your university campus?"

"I was, but once I graduated I decided to move out and get my own place. Plus, it would be kind of lame for a Graduate student to not have their own place."

"I didn't know you we're already a graduate student. Did you graduate early?"

"Yeah, a year and a half."

Todoroki bobbed his head up and down to indicate he was listening, "Oh, alright. So why are you moving again though?"

Bakugou felt himself getting irritated due to Todoroki's game of 20 questions but tried to remain calm as he answered. "I'm having some difficulties with my current roomate."

"Ah, well would you want to room with me. I think it might work out better because we know each other." Todoroki asked as he reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. After fiddling with it for a bit he showed Bakugou the screen, scrolling through a number of pictures. Each of a different section of some apartment. "I was thinking of something like this."

After looking a few if them Bakugou shrugged his shoulders, "Looks good to me."

“So do you want to?” Todoroki pushed.

Bakugou contemplated for a few seconds, wondering is he should be so rash. But the end of weekend deadline urged him to just do it.

“Yeah, sure.” Bakugou responded, trying not to sound so excited.

Though he couldn’t help but smile, it was a nice feeling to know that things had somehow managed to work themselves out. Yet the feeling was short lived as Bakugou's was abruptly reminded of the crumbled note laying on the counter in front of him.

"There's something I got to tell you first." He stated bluntly. Todoroki looked at his old classmate blankly waiting for him to continue.

Suddenly feeling nervous Bakugou couldn't bring himself to say it. After everything that's happened, if Todoroki would react the same way other did to the news he was gay. Shaking his head Bakugou backed out of the confession, "It's nothing. How fast do you think we can move in?"

With his mind returning to present time, Bakugou glanced over at Todoroki once more. Watching as he sipped on his drink, unable to believe that they’ve come as far as they have. Living together was suppose to be temporary but over eight months had already passed. Bakugou was able to come out and to his surprise found out Todoroki was gay as well. Despite the fact that he wouldn't go as far as to call them friends yet, he couldn't deny that he liked things the way they were and wanted them to stay that way.

"You okay?" Todoroki asked, gaining Bakugou's attention.

"What?"

"Are you okay? You looked like you were spacing out."

Bakugou stood up, taking his cup to the sink. "I'm fine."

Todoroki nodded, turning his attention back to his cup which was still half full. Bakugou for some reason felt a wave of anxiety wash over him but tried his best to shake the feeling. "Are you going out tonight?"

Todoroki without making eye contact shook his head in response, "No I wasn't planning on it."

"Can you go out? For the night that is."

Todoroki tried to hide the shocked tone in his voice, "Why?"

"For the same reason I ever ask you to leave for the night."

Todoroki knew he was gonna bring home another guy and for the first time since moving in found himself uncomfortable with the thought.

"Hey half and half, you okay?" Bakugou asked.

Todoroki struggled to find the words to respond quickly, "I-uh-well-I.."

"Spit it out already!"

"I'm just not feeling good! That's why I wasn't going out...I kind of just wanted to stay home."

A lie for sure. Todoroki was feeling fine and he didn't quite understand what was coming over him but before he knew it Bakugou was standing over him.

"Wha--"

Bakugou reached out, instinctively placing his hand on Todoroki's forehead, "You feel fine to me."

Todoroki now growing concern couldn’t comprehend Bakugou's unusual actions either.

"Wait, yeah I guess you are getting a bit warmer."

Bakugou looked down, meeting his roommate's gaze. The light red hue noticeably visible on Todoroki's cheeks and it was as if a switch finally went off in Bakugou’s head. Suddenly aware of his actions, he pulled back his hand and made a break for his room. "Okay fine! I'll rent a hotel. Just go to bed or something you bastard!"

Chapter Text

Todoroki blinked absently at the table before him. Attempting to process what had just happened.

"Wait!" He shouted, quickly making his way to Bakugou's room. Knocking frantically on the door, "Seriously it's fine! You don't have to go to a hotel!" He called out, he voice echoing throughout the hallway.

"Yes I do!" Bakugou yelled back through the door. Following up moments later with, "Just go away shithead! You are being a serious pain in the ass right now!"

Todoroki stomped his foot in frustration, pondering what to say for a moment before responding with a strong resolve in his voice. "Well, I'm going to Midoriya's tonight so waste you money if you want but the place will be empty!"

That was a lie and Todoroki knew it but it was also the only way he could get Bakugou to stay.

On the other side of the door Bakugou wore an annoyed expression, unable to make sense of his Todoroki's unusual persistence.

"Fine!" He grunted angrily before suddenly pulling open the door causing Todoroki looked at him in surprise. "Do you even realize how annoying you are?"

"That's not nice." Todoroki said with a gentle yet teasing smile on his face.

"Don't patronize me." Bakugou snapped slamming the door once more in Todoroki's face.

Alone once again, Todoroki turned on his heal and made his way back to his room. A light smile still on his face. Though Bakugou's outbursts were shocking for sure, Todoroki had never once found them intimidating or scary. Instead he found them funny, cute even. Todoroki gasped in shock at his own thoughts, which had brought his feet to a complete stop. Cute? Bakugou?  Those two words were ones that Todoroki never imagined would be in the same sentence. Shaking his head as if to shake the thought away too, Todoroki entered his room. Immediately going for his phone, once again attempt to have enlist Midoriya's help in covering up a lie.

T: Hey are you busy tonight?

M: Yeah, a little bit. Why?

T: I was hoping I could sleep over at your place.

M: Sorry, not tonight. I'm most likely not going to be home myself. Is everything okay?

Todoroki let out a sigh, though it was unrealistic to expect Midoriya to always bail him out he did have the smallest hope that would be the case this time. Flopping on to his back, Todoroki laid sprawled out across his bed. Once again staring at the ceiling.

"Guess I'll be the one staying in a hotel tonight." He whispered aloud to himself.

A knock at the door captured his attention but before he could answer to it Bakugou peeked his head inside. His usual glare still present on his face.

"I'm going to the store do you wanna come?"

Todoroki sat up, a puzzled look imprinting itself on his face. "Um..sure? I mean I don't really need anythi--"

"You need medicine don't you?" Bakugou interrupted.

"I..uh.." Todoroki stuttered trying to find a good excuse though none came to mind.

"Just hurry up and get dressed. I'll wait in the living room." Bakugou said before walking away. The tone of his voice indicating that he had said all he wanted to say and it was pointless to argue

Debating if he had time to take a shower, Todoroki decided against it and picked up the same black sweater he had wore the night before, adjusting the third quarter sleeves before throwing on a pair of light washed jeans.

Walking into the living Todoroki spotted Bakugou sitting at the doorway, tying his shoes.

He had thrown on a multi-shaded jacket on top of the white t-shirt he was already wearing.

"You ready?" Bakugou asked simply as he stood up. Todoroki nodded in response, slipping on a pair of low cut doc martens.

"Where are we going exactly?"

Bakugou answered in straightforward tone, "The supermarket? Where else? Its the only grocery store in walking distance."

"Right." Todoroki nodded sheepishly as he followed Bakugou out the door.

The walk to the supermarket what quite and awkward to say the least. Little was said between the two as they walked side by side. Bakugou often looked at each of the passing shops while Todoroki frequently switched between staring at the ground and the sky.

After few minutes passed Todoroki let out a sigh, before turning to Bakugou in an attempt to make conversation.

"How was your day yesterday? Other than the fact that you visited your friend?"

Bakugou face morphed into a quizzical look, "What? How did you know I visited someone?"

"I..uh..you..told..me." Todoroki stuttered.

Bakugou appeared in thought for a minute before nodding, "Oh right."

Silence returned, once filling the space between them.

"So..how was your yesterday?" Todoroki tried once more.

Letting out a aggravated moan, Bakugou stopped in his tracks and turned towards Todoroki. "Okay, enough. I don't know how much longer I can take this."

"Take what?"

"You. Being so damn nosy."

Todoroki turned his head towards the ground and responded in a low tone of voice, "Sorry..I don't mean to pry. I'm just wondering how you are doing?"

"Why?" Bakugou replied in harsh tone.

In a small burst of anger Todoroki snapped back in response, "Why not?! We have been friends for what 7 or 8 years and we live together?! Why can't I ask if your doing alright or How your day was?! Is there really so much distance between us that you can't even answer those simple questions. Do you hate me that much?!"

Now breathing heavily, Todoroki turned his back towards Bakugou and bit his lip eagerly as he waited for Bakugou to respond to his outburst.

Meanwhile Bakugou stood shocked unable to understand what caused Todoroki to be so sensitive and have such a sudden outburst. And while he was angry, Bakugou couldn't deny that it was just as Todoroki had pointed out. Bakugou himself did not understand why it bothered him so much. The blonde boy's face grew more troubled and a soft sigh spilled from his lips, "You've just never cared to ask before."

As low spoken as Bakugou's words were, Todoroki heard them. His eyes widening at the realization yet he couldn't find the strength to respond. Bakugou was right,he had never cared in the past. He had always been fine with nearly passing each other by. Why was it any different now. Todoroki grew unsettled as all these new realization spun around in his head.

Bakugou finally spoke up this time his voice clear, "Yesterday was fine. I spent the most of the day with that friend I told you about, I left their place when I realized how late it was getting, that's it."

Unwilling to wait for Todoroki to respond Bakugou walked off, leaving his red and white haired roommate still in a state of confusion. Todoroki could practically f eel the heat rise to his cheeks as he became unable to repress the smile which was creeping on to his lips. For some reason he felt oddly victorious. Now distracted from his previous thoughts, Todoroki  ran his fingers through his hair and allowed a chuckle to force it's way through his lips, "I guess that's a start."

For the remainder of the shopping trip Todoroki had choose to simply follow behind Bakugou quietly. As he figured it was best not to press his friend any further than he already had. With that the two roamed the store in silence. Bakugou surprisingly having made a list which outlined all the things they needed to stock up on, while Todoroki slipped in a few extra things here and there.

As they were finishing up and making their way to the front of the store, Bakugou turned right a few isles before reaching the first checkout lane.

"Did you forget something?" Todoroki chimed, pushing the cart as he followed behind.

"Yeah the whole reason we came here for in the first place." Bakugou said, crouching down in front of one of the shelves.

Now curious Todoroki stepped out from behind the cart and walked over to Bakugou, "What's that?"

Not saying anything in response Bakugou tossed a box in Todoroki's direction. Upon catching it, Todoroki turned the box over only to see the words Esutakku written boldly across it in black lettering. 'Cold Treatment' also written in smaller lettering underneath it. For a awhile Todoroki had forgotten all about his small lie. Thinking that just this once, him and Bakugou had chosen to spend their time together without any other motives.

Sighing Todoroki looked up to thank Bakugou but he was already gone. Alone he smiled gripping the small box. Though it wasn't the perfect circumstance, he appreciated the thought.

"The reason we came?" Todoroki whispered, repeating his roommates words. As bit of belated embarrassment set in and Todoroki quickly followed behind Bakugou trying not to lose him in the crowd.

Later that night Todoroki had begun to pack a small overnight bag in preparation for his night at a small motel near by.

"Are you sure you're feeling well enough to go?" Bakugou prodded once more. "It's not too late, I can go somewhere else."

"I'm fine." Todoroki said, really wanting Bakugou to forget the whole being sick ordeal as if the guilt wasn't eating him alive enough.

Besides having found a hotel a few blocks away, Todoroki had already prepared himself for a quite night alone with nothing more than a few movies and a bag of chips.

Bakugou watched skeptically from the door way as Todoroki shoved some clothes into medium sized leather backpack. Though Bakugou couldn't understand why, a gut feeling had become annoyingly prominent within him as the small voice in the back of his head begged him to cancel his plans and find a way to get Todoroki to stay.

"Why do I care what he does?"   Bakugou thought to himself.

"Excuse me." Todoroki clear voice spoke out, freeing Bakugou from his mind.

Bakugou stepped aside without any hesitation, watching as Todoroki walked down the hallway towards the front door before following behind a few moments later.

"So what time do you plan on coming back?" He asked bluntly. Todoroki paused for a mere second his right shoe only half on as he looked at his friend with a hint of confusion in his eyes. It was unusual for Bakugou to be curious in such things.  Thinking about it for a bit, Todoroki chopped it up to a mere aftereffect of the conversation that had earlier that day.

Bakugou unsure of why Todoroki took so long to answer followed up his statement, "Just so there aren't any surprises."

"Surprises?"

"Never mind. Just don't do anything stupid tonight." Bakugou snapped, turning to walk away.

It took every ounce of Todoroki's strength to suppress the laugh that wanted to force it's way out. That had made two unusual statements from Bakugou in under five minutes, must be a new record of some sort.

Though Todoroki wasn't complete off put by it. "I'll be back around 8 tomorrow morning!" He called out before leaving.

Chapter Text

The walk to the hotel only lasted ten minutes. Todoroki had traveled in silence, only occasionally glancing down at the GPS on his phone to guide himself through a few odd alleyways and side streets. The place he had chosen for the night wasn’t the most conventional but was the cheapest among those which he found online.

Upon his arrival to the run down, one story motel, he had prompt exchange with the clerk at the front desk before making his way down the long stretch of doors with his room key in hand. Quickly dropping his bag off, he ventured off once more. This time in search of a nearby convenience store with intention of buying a large assortment of snack food for the night. Pulling out his phone once more he googled if there were any locations nearby.

“Okay it should be..” Todoroki’s thoughts trailed off as he found himself distracted by a small group of guys walking on the other side of the street. All of them nicely dressed, and laughing quite loudly. Todoroki couldn’t help but notice how they all walked hand in hand almost as if they were clinging to one another.

"Are they.." He pondered as he watched one of the smaller boys hook their arm around the guy next to him, pulling him down for a kiss.

Todoroki cheeks burned from second hand embarrassment as he looked around checking to see if anyone else had saw what he had just seen.

Looking back over at them, he was met with purple eyed gaze. Todoroki's breath stopped short and suddenly it was like his feet had became frozen in place. He watched as the purple haired boy nudged the smaller blonde next to him before pointing at Todoroki. Shit. Still frozen in place, Todoroki couldn't do anything but watch as the two made their way over to him.

"Hey do you have a problem?!" The blonde one yelled out.

"I..uh..no.." Todoroki stammered, "I was just uh..looking at that tree!"

What kind of excuse!?!

The two boys glanced behind themselves then back at Todoroki, "The tree?"

A nervous laughter escaped Todoroki as he placed his hand on the back his neck, "Yup the tree..."

The purple haired boy offered nothing but a judgmental look in return, "Has anyone ever told you, you’re kind of a dumbass."

Nodding as matter of fact; Todoroki responded, "Yes actually. More frequently than you'd think."

"Hey! Are you guys coming?!" another boy called out a from a distance. The purple haired boy looked back at the other half of his group, "Yeah but you guys are good to go ahead!"

Todoroki watched the interaction quietly before the blonde boy blocked his vision, "What's your name?"

“Uh..Todoroki.”

“Mm, no I mean your first name.”

Although hesitant Todoroki responded in a small voice, “Shouto.”

“Cool. I’m Neito, this is Hitoshi.”

“Nice..to meet you.” Todoroki said with a nod.

“So are you gonna tell us why you were staring at us?” Neito asked bluntly. Todoroki took a step back, despite the tone of Neito’s voice being soft it still managed to come off as somewhat threatening. “And before you answer that, I have a boyfriend so don’t get any funny ideas.”

Todoroki didn't know how to respond and only continued to nod as a sign of understanding, “O-okay..”

“So you did have some funny ideas?”

“No!”

“Then?”

Flustered Todoroki didn’t know what to say, a few moments of silence passed before Neito spoke up again, “I’m this close to beating the answer out of you.”

Todoroki eyes widen and he took a another step back before witnessing Hitoshi grab the collar of Neito’s t-shirt and yank him back, “Don’t let this little shit scare you, he’s all bark no bite.”

Despite finding nothing about his current situation funny, Todoroki laughed nervously as he glanced around. Looking for any possible window of escape, but found none.

“You seem..tense, why don’t you come hang out with us.” Hitoshi offered, garnering confused looks from both the boys.

“What with this guy?” Todoroki thought as he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. “Since when am I familiar with you?”

“I can’t, I’m--” Todoroki was cut off as Hitoshi grabbed him by the arm and began to drag him along.

“Don’t make excuses. You’re gay right?” Hitoshi stated.

Todoroki looked at Hitoshi with his lips parted in shock, “How..”

“No straight guy would ever look at a group of gay men with that much interest and awe in their eyes as you did. Like come on I wasn’t born yesterday.”

Confused at what exactly was happening, Todoroki grew more and more confused with each passing minute.”Where are you taking me?”

“You’ll see.”

Todoroki struggled to keep up their pace while also trying to piece together how he got himself into such an unfavorable situation. And although Bakugou wasn’t there, Todoroki could already feel his roommate disapproving glare from a distance. If Bakugou had seen what was happening, Todoroki could already imagine the long lecture that would ensue. Though this somehow brought a smile to his lips rather than any type of worry.

Finally coming to a stop, Todoroki looked at Hitoshi with a new and slightly annoyed look on his face, “Are you done?!”

Thinking about Bakugou had made him realize this wasn't the time to be acting meek or embarrassed.

“Someone hasn’t gotten laid in awhile.” Neito teased. Elbowing Todoroki softly on the arm before walking up and pounding his fist on the large door in front of them.

Todoroki remained skeptical as a large man answered the door, an upset look seemingly carved onto his face. “ID’s out now.”

All of the boy scrambled for their wallets before presenting their identification cards. After confirming they were all of age,the man stepped to the side and motioned for them to enter.

“Where are we?” Todoroki asked once more, trying to maintain his affirmative tone of voice.

“What do you think..” Hitoshi said as they walked down the neon lit hallway. Todoroki could here muffled music in the distance. The cemented floors and concrete walls were covered in graffiti, each depicting something different and unique. As they grew closer to the music, various people started to come into view. First it was one or two, than after a while there were in groups made up of three or four. However it didn’t take long for him to realize something, a majority guys were with other guys and girls were only with girls.

“Is this place..” Todoroki trailed off as two men came into view. One having the other pinned securely to the wall, their mouths pressed together so long you would think there were glued. Having his own question answered, Todoroki turned his attention towards the double doors that were positioned at the end of the hall.

“Now your getting it, but still this is about to be a lot at once..” Hitoshi said as he pushed open the doors revealing a scene in which Todoroki wasn’t completely familiar with.

The large room was too big to even attempt to scale and any bit of light seen only reflected various hues of red, pink and orange.  Todoroki could feel the music pulsating through the ground with each step he took further into the room. Trying his best to take in everything around him, he looked around mentally taking notes of where things were. But even this was to much for him to process.

“So just some basics; Don’t leave without telling us. Don’t accept drinks from strangers, don’t leave your drink anywhere and lastly don’t give out too much personal information. We’re gonna meet back up at the entrance around 2am so keep track of the clock.” Hitoshi spoke into Todoroki’s ear before giving him a light pat on the shoulder and disappearing into the crowd alongside Neito. Leaving Todoroki dumbfounded and alone at the forefront of the dance floor.

“Uh..” Todoroki started, still trying to make sense of what was happening. How did he find himself here? and What was he going to do now?

Craning his neck he tried to take a better look around but could barely see anything through the large crowd of people. “This is impossible.”

Without even attempting to make his way through everyone, Todoroki turned around and exited through the door through in which he came.

Once outside he exhaled deeply, this was too much. While Todoroki had always wanted to visit a gay club and meet more guys, tonight he was not mentally prepared for such a venture.

“I should just go home.” He thought to himself. Yeah, that’s a good idea. Just go home and forget all of this ever happened. Stepping forward Todoroki was instantly stopped as he collided into a strangers chest.

Looking up his eyes widen.

“Wow..” He muttered under his breath, taking a step back. Todoroki’s eyes widened, he had never seen anyone like this before in his life. The clothes he wore, the expression in his eyes, his mere presence was dominating.

“Sorry. Are you okay?” The guy asked, his eyes softening into a concerned expression.

Still in awe, Todoroki nodded. “Uh..yeah.”

The guys lips formed into a smiled as he breathed a sigh of relief. “Good.”

Todoroki couldn’t help but notice how tall he was as it was unusual for him to have to look up at people when typically it was vice versa.

“I’m Chisaki,” he says. “I’m Shouto,” Todoroki replies. “Nice to meet you, Shouto. That’s a pretty cute name,” he says. A sudden feeling of giddiness spread throughout Todoroki’s body. Cute?

Chisaki chuckled, “Your reactions are so honest.”

Todoroki turned his gaze to the ground embarrassed.

“Do take it the wrong way, it’s cute.” Chisaki spoke almost endearingly. He did it again. Cute. Todoroki had never been call cute before. Sexy maybe? Hot, handsome, alluring, a range of different adjectives really but never cute.

“Were you leaving?” Chisaki asked.

“I..uh..no. I was--”
“Wanna have a drink with me?”

A smile spread across Todoroki’s face as a small laugh escaped his lips, “Yeah.”

Following Chisaki back inside, they navigated through the crowd with ease. As a bar came into view, Chisaki reached out grabbing Todoroki’s hand. “There’s seat on the far left. What do you want to drink?”

“A beer is fine.” He replied looking down at their hands. What was happening right now? Todoroki had no idea. Just like the entirety of the night thus far, nothing was making sense.

As they took their seats at the end of the bar, Chisaki called over the bartender and ordered drinks for them both.

“So is this your first time here?” Chisaki asked turning his full attention to Todoroki. “I don’t think I’ve seen you before.”

“That’s because you haven’t.” Todoroki started. “I don’t usually go to places like this.”

“Like this?”

“Nightclubs and such.”

“Ah,” Chisaki responded. “If that’s the case then I’m surprised you found this place.”

“What do you mean?”

“Well it’s kind of a secret among the community. The owner is a friend of mines and he’s works really hard to keep this place under the radar. You aren’t gonna find this place with a simple google search to say the least.”

“Oh..” Todoroki spoke, a hint of surprise in his voice. “Well that’s cool I guess.”
“Did you come with friends?’ Chisaki questioned, just as the bartender set their drinks in front of them.

Todoroki pondered for a second how to answer the question, did he even consider Hitoshi and Neito his friends? They had only just met and on top of that they kind if dragged him here by force. Maybe acquaintances but not friends, “Something like that. Though to be honest, I am not complete sure how I found myself here.”

“Well regardless, I’m glad you did.” Chisaki said, setting his hand on Todoroki's thigh.

Todoroki stared at Chisaki's hand for a minute before swallowing hard and taking a drink of his beer, “What about you?”

“What about me?”

“Do you come here a lot?”

“Only when I want to have fun.”

“Fun?” Todoroki asked, the grip his cup tightening as an unsettled feeling started to stir within him.

“Yeah, you know.” Chisaki spoke in a low voice, leaning in closer to Todoroki in till his lips were almost touching his ear, “If you want, I can show you how.”

The raspiness of his voice sent a shiver down Todoroki's spine and trickling red across his cheeks. Why was he so nervous? And just what was this guy planning?

“That's... tempting.” Todoroki said, trying to remain cool and composed despite instantly regretting his response. Why did I say that? Todoroki couldn’t deny that he had his share of one night stands and this guy was definitely a ten on the ‘I would fuck him scale’ but still there was still something about him that Todoroki just couldn’t quite wrap his head around.

“I’m glad.” Chisaki said once more. “But..”

“But?”

“Sorry, I got to ask, are you a top or a bottom?”

“I--” Todoroki paused, in the past there was never any hesitation but now Todoroki wasn’t sure. Granted he wanted to try bottoming as that was the only thing that had been on his mind for the past 48 hours but that didn't change the fact that he had zero experience doing so. Was that something he should be upfront about or..?

If you wanna get fucked you're gonna have to put in effort!" Midoriya’s words echoed in Todoroki’s head. “I mean if your asking because your scared about your ass possibly being ripped in two, I would suggest finding someone with experience.”

“Chisaki certainly seems experienced.” Todoroki thought.

For a brief moment Todoroki considered coming cleaning and excusing himself. It was already late and Bakugou would probably be home al--

Todoroki’s lips unknowingly fell into a frown. That right, he can’t go home. Bakugou didn’t want him to come home, because he was there with someone else.

“Are you alright?” Chisaki asked, pulling Todoroki back to reality.

Nodding his head Todoroki had made up his mind, “Yeah. I’m good.”

“Okay..you were just spacing out for a moment there.”

“I’m fine.” Todoroki responded confidentiality. “And to answer your question, I bottom.”

Chisaki appeared visually taken aback for a brief moment before a smirk appeared on his face, “Alright then. Let's keep each other company.”

Bakugou stared at himself in the mirror, glancing over his appearance nervously.

“Is this good enough?” He thought to himself, before shifting into a different pose. A few seconds past before the reality of his actions set in, “Ah what the fuck am I doing acting like some girl!” He yelled aloud before quickly shutting off the light and leaving his bedroom.

However upon entering the living room and kitchen area it became apparent that this was the first time he had actually taken the time look around and acknowledge the state of the apartment. Beer cans still littered the living room from the previous night, the sink was full of dishes, and grocery bags from their impromptu shopping trip were everywhere.

“Bastard,” Bakugou spoke as the image of his red and white haired roommate popped into his head. “You’re just gonna leave me to do everything in the house.”

Although rather than anger, Bakugou couldn’t help but want to laugh. He didn’t understand why it still surprised him whenever Todoroki didn't follow through with any type of household chore as it had always been that way. As a matter of fact, Bakugou was pretty sure Todoroki would be completely lost on his own.

“That stupid rich kid I swear..” Bakugou mumbled as he began to pick up the beers cans off the living room floor.

As he cleaned in silence, a sigh escaped him.  He’s two hours late.

“I guess some things never change.” Bakugou said aloud, as he walked into the kitchen and shoved the empty beer cans into the recycling.

Walking over to the sink, he noticed a familiar bottle.

“That fucker left his medicine.” Pulling out his phone, Bakugou angrily dialed Todoroki’s number. After a few rings the call was forwarded to voicemail, Bakugou huffed as he hung up and glared at the bottle. “Does that dumbass have a death wish?”

Picking it up, Bakugou paced down the hall towards Todoroki’s room. Pushing his roomates door open without any hesitation and walked over, slamming the bottle onto his desk. Though thus small bit if anger disapated quickly as Bakugou took a deep breath.

“Now that I think about it..” Bakugou looked around the room. “I don’t think I’ve really been in here since we moved in.”

Looking at the clock on Todoroki’s bed stand, Bakugou shrugged his shoulders before deciding to give himself a mini tour of Todoroki's the room. Only to find himself underwhelmed by his roommate minimalistic lifestyle. A small pile of papers as well as a single condom on the dresser drew Bakugou’s attention.

“What are these?” Picking them up one if the slips of paper, Bakugou came to the realization that they were all just phone numbers. Bakugou smirked, “So even lame guys like him can get laid.” Laughing at his own commentary Bakugou glanced at the condom. The brand looked somewhat familiar, but he couldn't quite remember we're he seen it before. Deciding but wasn't worth the mental effort, Bakugou turned around and walked towards the bed. Of course it’s not made.

The comforter itself however appeared expensive. Maybe a fur of some type. Bakugou reached out and picked it up. Soft. Now holding it with both his hands, he stared at it blankly. “It must be nice to sleep with something like this..” He mumbled bringing it closer to his face. Just as the fur brushed against the tip of his nose a knock at the door pulled Bakugou from his thoughts.

“What the fuck am I doing?” He snapped at himself, throwing the blanket onto the bed with a grunt. Quickly walking back to the doorway, Bakugou switched off the lights to Todoroki's room before slamming the door behind him.

Todoroki felt his breath hitched as Chisaki pinned him to the wall. They had found small and dimly lit area not far from the main club room, it was quite and allowed Todoroki to fully focus on the task in front of him. Their kisses echoed off the walls before Chisakis lips danced down Todoroki’s neck and to his collarbone.

A moan so small it was almost inaudible escaped Todoroki’s mouth at the new sensation. Everytime he had sex up to this point he had always been the one to lead but he had to admit it was exciting to be on the receiving end. Chisaki pulled Todorki’s body towards his own, their hips grinding against one another. He’s hard.

The uneasiness in Todoroki’s stomach made itself apparent once more though he chopped it up to mere nervousness.

Reaching out he cupped Chisaki’s cock through his jeans, “Let me?”

Smirking, Chisaki nodded. “Have at it.”

Todoroki dropped to his knees, his hand finding his way to Chisaki’s belt. It had never occured to Todoroki just how shakey his hands were until he tried unbuttoning Chisaki’s pants. His hands fumbled with the button for longer than should be necessary, till eventually Chisaki unbuttoned it for him out of impatience.

Todoroki swallowed hard, Chisaki was big. Todoroki's heart nearly double in pace as he could feel himself becomingsomewhat excited. Reaching out Todoroki stroked Chisaki's dick. How do people do this again?

“Tighten your grip..” Chisaki instructed as if he and read Todoroki's mind.

Doing what he was told Todoroki gripped his cock tighter as he stroked it. After a few seconds had passed he leaned forward hesitantly and licked the tip of Chisaki's dick, swirling his tongue over and around it. Chisaki let out a low moan and his dick twitched in Todoroki's hand. Looking up at him, Todoroki couldn't help but feel somewhat satisfied. Chisaki liked this.
Chisaki reached out pushing Todoroki's head back down to his dick, though unsure Todoroki placed his lips over the head and continued swirling his tongue over it as he concentrated on mainly stroking him.
Slowly growing a bit more adventuresome and Todoroki lowered his mouth, taking a couple of inches of Chisaki's dick into his mouth. But never stopped swirling his tongue on the underside of it.
“I think I can probably cum. ” The dark haired boy commented. Unable to speak Todoroki just groaned onto his dick. Chisaki reached down placing both of his hands on either side of Todoroki's head, preventing him from backing away. Suddenly feeling apprehensive, Todoroki felt as if a hole had opened up in his stomach. Reaching back he clawed at Chisaki’s hand, wanting him to let go. Though instead of stopping Chisaki only pushed himself further into Todoroki’s mouth. As his eyes began to burn with tears, Todoroki could only think about getting away. It startled him how Chisaki had changed at the flick of switch.

Just as Todoroki closed his eyes, Chisaki grunted and a shot of his cum hit the back of Todoroki's throat. Ten or fifteen seconds later, Todoroki's mouth was full and he started gag.

Without giving Todoroki much time to recover, Chisaki picked him up and slammed him against the wall, holding him up by his thighs.

Still coughing up the cum in his mouth, Todoroki used all his strength to push Chisaki back, “Get away from me. I'm done.”

Wiping his mouth with the back of his hand, Todoroki tried to run. Only to be stopped a mere two feet from his starting point.

“No you're not!” Chisaki snapped.

As if Todoroki's body had reacted on its own his fist collided into Chisaki's face, sending him a few steps back.

“You piece of shit.” Chisaki shouted, before stepping forward and striking Todoroki.

Todoroki placed his hand over his left eye, trying his best to ignore the throbbing pain.

This guy really is psycho.

Todoroki pondered the idea of running but felt the chances of Chisaki just chasing after him was too high. “I’m going to have to fight him.” Todoroki thought, as he glanced over Chisaki’s physique. “Though I don’t know if I stand a chance.”

Before Todoroki could react Chisaki stepped forward throwing another punch at his face. Then another. And another.

Finally after what seemed like forever, the rain of punches stopped and Todoroki’s face had taken all the damage it could take. He could feel the blood coming from his nose and his lips. As his vision had become blurred, and hearing distorted.

“What a waste.” Chisaki remarked as he stood up and spat on Todoroki before walking away.

Todoroki’s mind had become messy as he reflected on everything that had just happened. “Well this sucks.” He said to himself as he got up, leaning against the nearby wall.

At this point he just wanted to go home and go to bed. The whole night had been a bust. Putting myself out there, what a great idea.

Laughing at his own decisions only caused further pain in his facial muscles.

Walking back toward the main club room Todoroki struggle to keep himself upright.

“Where have you been,” A familiar voice called out.

Looking up Todoroki gaze was met with that of Neito’s. Never had he felt so relieved to see someone in his life.

“We’ve have been looking ever-- whoa, what happened to you?” Neito questioned.

“Do me a favor,” Todoroki started, ignoring the blond’s question. “Lend me a shoulder home.”

“O-kay..” Nieto said as he grabbed Todoroki’s arm and wrapped it around his neck.

Carrying Todoroki outside, they were both greeted by Hitoshi.

“Finally! Where have-- Jesus christ what the fuck happened?!” Hitoshi exclaimed, walking up to Todoroki.

“What did you do?!”

“Please,” Todoroki spoke raising his hand up. “Don’t yell.”

Hitoshi huffed, “Un-fucking-believable. What are you a teenager? This isn't the place you go to get into bar fight you know!”

“Hitoshi.” Neito spoke. “Just calm down we don't know the whole story.”

Rolling his eyes, Hitoshi glared at Todoroki disapprovingly. “Care to explain?”

Todoroki didn't respond, but instead kept his eyes glued to the ground. “Can I just go home..please.”

Hitoshi and Neito looked at their new friend with concerned looks, before Neito finally said something. “Man this feels heavy. Seriously what happened? Talk to us.”

“I just..want to..go home.” Todoroki repeated.

After a while both boys gave in, “Fine. Where do you live?”

The way home was quite, fortunately enough Hitoshi actually had a car that was parked a few blocks away so he was able to save them all a walk.

Todoroki stared out the window blankly, every part of his body exhausted. The sky had begun to reflect a light pinkish orange hue. Just what time was it?

Pulling out his phone, Todoroki was disappointed to see that it had died.

“Hey what time is it?” He asked in a small almost timid tone of voice.

“5:20am.” Neito replied.

Todoroki jaw dropped, how had so much time passed without him realizing?

“We spent almost two hours looking for you.” Hitoshi butted in.

Todoroki felt a twinge of guilt, “I'm sor--”

“Is this your place?” Hitoshi asked cutting him off as the car came to a stop.

Glancing out the window once more Todoroki nodded, “Yeah.”

“I'll walk him in.” Neito volunteered.

As the stepped out of the car and made their way towards the buildings entrance, Todoroki seized his opportunity to apologize. “I'm really sorry for all the trouble I cause you two. I'm also sorry if I ruined you night.”

A few moments passed before Neito responded, “It's fine you didn't ruin anything.”

Despite the pain and swelling in his face, Todoroki offer the blonde haired boy a smile.

“Don't give me that look,” Neito spoke. “It’s gross.”

As much as Todoroki wanted to laugh, he was aware it would only hurt to do so and decide to just keep the smile he had mustered present on his face.

Annoyed at Todoroki's staring, Neito let out an aggravated sigh. “I'm sorry too.”

“For what?” Todoroki asked, honestly confused.

“Your face?”

Todoroki continued to stare in confusion, “Why? you didn't do this to me.”

“Maybe not directly but if we hadn't dragged you to that place, this wouldn't of happened.”

Relenting Todoroki responded, “That may be true but despite how strange it was to be dragged to a nightclub by complete stranger. I could of walked away anytime I wanted to, but I willing went with you guys without even putting up a fight.”

Neito stared at Todoroki in surprise as he continued, “So I'd say we're pretty even.”

Pondering Todoroki's words for a bit, Neito finally nodded. “Alright if you say so.”

Walking up to the apartment door, Todoroki began to dig around in his pocket for his keys. “Where are they?” He said aloud.

“What?” Neito asked.

“My keys I can't find them.”

“You're kidding me.”

“No I'm not.” Todoroki assured him. “I had them when I left last night. I stuck them in my bag and when I got to the ho--”

“When you got to the what?”

As if he his memories had come back at once Todoroki felt his heart drop into his stomach.

Grabbing Neito's arm he went to leave, “Come on, hurry. We gotta get out of here.”

“Get out of where? Isn't this your place?”

“Yes, but we can't be here right now.”

“What do you mean?” Neito asked pulling his arm from Todoroki's grasp. “You’re not making any sense.”

“I don't have--”

“Todoroki?” A familiar voice called out. Surprised, Todoroki felt as if someone had glued his feet to the ground. Glancing back in the direction of the person's voice. Todoroki's eyes widen in surprise. It's you.

“Kirishima?”

Chapter Text

*Earlier that Night*

Bakugou quickly made his way to the front door, before pulling it open expectantly. A smile unknowingly having made its way onto his face.

“Sorry I’m late.” The boy at the door spoke.

Shrugging his shoulders, Bakugou shook his head. “It’s fine.”

The two boys stood at the door quietly for a few minutes before Bakugou motioned him to come inside, “Are you gonna come in or are you gonna just stand there?”

“Yeah.” The boy spoke stepping inside. “Wow this is a nice place.”

“Oh, thanks.”

“How long have you lived here?” He started, trying to make conversation.

“Kirishima.” Bakugou said. "You don’t have to be so formal. It’s just us.”

The red headed boy nodded, “I know. It’s just weird.”

“Weird?” Bakugou mumbled, low enough for Kirishima not to hear.

“Well,” Bakugou spoke. “I made dinner. I know it’s late but are you hungry?”

“Yeah.”

“Alright, just let me heat it up.”

As Bakugou made his way into the kitchen, Kirishima took off his shoes and began to walk around. “Do you live alone?”

“No,” Bakugou called out from the kitchen. “I have a roommate.”

“Roommate..huh?” Kirishima whispered before speaking louder. “Oh, nice.”

“Eh, he’s kind of an airhead.” Bakugou replied as he began to stir the curry he had made. “But things are simple when it comes him.”

“How so?” Kirishima asked.

Bakugou hand came to a stop as he pondered his response, “I..don’t know. They just are.”

“That’s good. I’m glad you found someone you’re comfortable with.” Kirishima said, making his way into the kitchen.

Turning around with his eyebrows furrowed, Bakugou laughed. “Don’t get it twisted. It’s not like that. Not in the slightest.”

“What’s it like?” Kirishima said, setting his head down on Bakugou’s shoulders as he cooked.

“Why does it matter?” Bakugou replied. “More importantly why do you care?”

“Bold of you to assume I do.”

“Shut up and eat.” Bakugou snapped as quickly filled a bowl with curry and handed it to Kirishima.

Giggling, Kirishima took the bowl from his hands and walked over to the table.

“It’s been so long since I had your food. I miss it.”

“Well whose fault it that?” Bakugou said taking his seat at the table as well.

“Ouch,” Kirishima teased. “You wound me.”

“Good.”

The two ate together in a comfortable silence before Bakugou finally spoke, “So how long are you planning to stay this time?”

Kirishima's hand stopped halfway to his mouth, setting his spoon down he gave Bakugou a knowing look. “Okay, I know you upset about--”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Katsu--”

“Don’t.”

Resting his hands on his knees, Kirishima started the ground with a complex look on his face. “After meeting with you yesterday night, I thought we had put this behind us.”

Bakugou sighed, “It is behind us. I only asked you a simple question; How long are you planning to stick around?”

“I don’t know.”

Finishing off his bowl, Bakugou gave Kirishima blank look. “That’s all you had to say.”

Standing up, Bakugou took his plate to the sink. “Do you want any sec-”

Warm arms wrapped themselves around Bakugou’s waist, “What the fuck are y-”

Before he could finish his sentence, Kirishima had place his finger under Bakugou’s chin and brought blond’s lips to his.

Bakugou felt his anger dissipate as he melted into the kiss and small moan escaped him, causing a chuckled from Kirishima.

“Even after all this time, you’re still as cute as ever.” Kirishima whispered sweetly.

“Bastard just how long were you waiting to pull this shit.”

“Long enough,” Kirishima said as he leaned in for another kiss. His free hand making its way under Bakugou’s shirt.

Bakugou whimpered at the touch of Kirishima’s warm hands against his skin.

Grabbing both his legs, Kirishima propped him up onto the counter. His hands making there way to Bakugou’s belt, their lips never once parting. Once his belt was off, Kirishima went for the button next, before pulling off his pants all together.

“Wai--” Bakugou started but couldn’t finish as Kirishima cupped Bakugou’s cock with his hand.

“Already excited I see..”

“Shut up.”

Playing with the band of Bakugou’s boxers, Kirishima’s lips trailed down his neck, pulling away for only a brief second to remove his own shirt.

Bakugou’s breathing became shaky as he watched in anticipation.

“What?” Kirishima spoke. “Don’t act like you’ve never seen me shirtless before.”

“Fuck you.”

“Gladly.”

Kirishima dropped to his knees, slipping Bakugou’s boxers off along the way. Bakugou’s head dipped back in pleasure as Kirishima took him in his mouth. Moving his tongue over Bakugou’s cock, he flicked his it up and down; all while watching for Bakugou’s reactions. Pushing it further into his throat he watched as Bakugou’s lips parted, a loud moan escaping him. Pulling back, Kirishima kissed the tip. “That right there, is music to my ears.”

“Shut..u-up..” Bakugou responded looking down at Kirishima, his cheeks burning red in pleasure. A fiery excitement present in his eyes. Kirishima felt himself get hard at the sight.

“With the way you’re reacting, I would think that you actually missed this,” he commented with an arrogant smirk on his face.

Licking down to the base of his cock, Kirishima pushed Bakugou’s legs into the air, revealing his hole. Gliding his thumb over the top he watched as Bakugou squirmed under his touch.

“It doesn’t look like this place has been used in quite awhile.” He teased, pushing one finger inside.

“Ah..” Bakugou gasped.

“How long has it been?” Kirishima teased. “Two-Three months? You're really tight.”

“St-ahh,” Bakugou tried to a respond but as another finger pushed its way into him, another surge of pleasure overcoming him. Kirishima pushed Bakugou’s shirt up, leaving kisses across his chest.

“How long Katsuki?”

The sound of his name on Kirishima’s lips, brought it all back. All the feelings and memories that he convinced himself he had locked away.

“Since,” Bakugou whimpered. “That last time we did it together.”

Kirishima’s smile widened in gratification, “Oh really?”

Bakugou closed his eyes and nodded.

“Then I guess I should make it worth your while.” Pulling his fingers out, Kirishima positioned himself between Bakugou’s legs before pushing himself in.

Moaning out in pleasure, Bakugou felt as if his entire mind had gone blank. He reached out wrapping his arms tightly around Kirishima’s neck. Kirishima started off slow but gradually picked up pace with each thrust.

“Ahh,” Bakugou cried out. “It...good.”

“What was that?” Kirishima teased.

“It feels good.” Bakugou relented. Only motivating Kirishima more as he picked Bakugou up off the counter by his legs and allowed gravity to do the work.

“Let’s..go..to..ro..om,” Bakugou cried out in between thrusts.

“You wanna go to your room?”

Kirishima felt Bakugou nod against his neck.

“Where is it?” Kirishima asked, carrying Bakugou towards the hallway.

“First..ro..om..on the..r..ight.”

“As you wish.” Kirishima whispered, carrying Bakugou into the room and laying him down at the end of the bed, their never once losing contact with one another in the hours to come.

Glancing at the clock, Kirishima let out a sigh. Five fifteen already?

As the sun began to peek through Bakugou’s curtains, Kirishima smiled. He reached out ruffling the blond boy’s hair softly.

“That was fun,” He whispered sweetly, making sure not to wake the sleeping boy next to him.

Standing up he followed the trail of clothes into the kitchen. Everything was where they had left it the night before. Slipping on his shirt and fixing his pants, Kirishima made his way to the door. He hadn’t plan on last night going as well as it did but nonetheless the fact that it had, left him satisfied.

“Get out of where? Isn't this your place?”

“Yes, but we can’t be here right now.”

Two voices from outside the door pulled Kirishima from his thoughts. Out of curiosity, he quickly slipped on his shoes before pulling the door open.

He watched as two boys were making their way back down the hall, a familiar head of red and white hair catching his eye. What is he doing here?

“Todoroki?”

The boy froze, slowly turning back around towards Kirishima; his eyes widening in shock.

“Kirishima?”

Chapter Text

Todoroki blinked a few times, allowing himself a few moments to process who exactly it was that was standing in front of him.

“What are the odds,” Kirishima spoke. “I didn't expect to see you here and I’m sorry for asking but what happened to your face?”

“I, Well,” Todoroki stuttered, unable to speak a single word correctly.

“He lives here.” Neito butted in bluntly, glancing back and forth between the two boys.

Kirishima’s eyes widened as he looked to Todoroki for clarification, “Is that true?”

Todoroki could already see Bakugou’s infuriated face now.  Regardless of his reasoning, he wasn't supposed to know Kirishima was here. Yet here Todoroki was, knowing. You’ve lived a good life Shouto.

Todoroki nodded, “Yeah.”

“Then,” Kirishima began to put the pieces together. “Does that mean you and..”

“Yeah.”

Silence fell between the two, neither one of them knowing what to say next.

“I don’t know what this is all about but dipshit here needs to sit down soon or else he’s gonna collapse.” Neito spoke up as he pushed pass Kirishima and made his way inside. As he sat Todoroki down on the couch, Neito whispered in a low tone of voice. “Who is that?”

Todoroki pondered how to respond. What should he say? An old classmate? Roommate's friend? His friend?

“Uh..” Kirishima started, still standing next to the door. “I think I should go wake Bakugou up.”

“No!” Todoroki shouted suddenly, causing Kirishima to stop in his tracks. “Don't do that!”

“Why not?”

“Um, I don't wanna bother him and plus it's so early. There is no reason to wake him up-”

“Wake who up?”

Todoroki's face drained of color as his roommate's voice rang throughout the living room. He looked towards the floor, not daring to meet Bakugou's gaze.

Having woken up early as he usually did, Bakugou couldn’t hide the surprise on face at the sheer number of people he had come out to find in the living room.

“What are you doing back here?” Bakugou asked, the tone of his voice furthest from happy.

Silence.

“Todoroki.”

Silence.

“Todoroki.”

Silence.

Todoroki did not have it in himself respond and instead kept his gaze averted towards the ground. Could things get any worse? It didn’t feel like it.

“Answer me Todoroki.” Bakugou repeated. “What are you doing back here? We agreed you wouldn’t be back till eight.”

Silence.

Bakugou approached his roommate with a fiery intent, only to be stopped short as Neito stepped in between the them both.

“Who the fuck are y-” Bakugou stopped short as his gaze met Neito’s. A sudden realization hitting them both.

“Bakugou fucking Katsuki.”

“What the fuck are you doing here?!” Bakugou snapped.

“I could ask you the same thing, your ugly ass face was the last thing I ever wanted to see again.”

“Same here.”

“And you!” Neito said turning around to look at Todoroki. “I knew you looked familiar but I didn’t want to say anything because I wasn’t sure.”

Todoroki looked up giving Neito a confused look, “Do we know each other?”

Neito’s glare only sharpened, “You’re fucking lucky you’re drunk or I wou-”

“Fucking move!” Bakugou exclaimed shoving Neito to the side.

Grabbing Todoroki by the chin, Bakugou brought their gazes together. “What. The. Fuck. Happened to your face?!”

Examining his friends face, Bakugou’s anger dissipated. Todoroki’s bruised skin and busted lip bringing him nothing but concern. His thumb lightly gliding over the dry blood on the corner of Todoroki’s lips before Todoroki raised his hand to swat it away.

“I’m fine.”

“Really?”

“Yeah.”

“Bullshit.” Bakugou snapped, annoyed at the situation. “Alright. Everyone needs to get the fuck out of my apartment!”

Shoving Neito towards the door, Bakugou glanced at Kirishima who up until this point had been quietly watching everything unfold from the entrance hallway. “That goes for you too! and you sit the fuck down dumbass.” Bakugou shouted as he looked back over at Todoroki who had attempted to get up.

“Kastu--” Kirishima started to speak but faltered at Bakugou's icy glare.

“Don’t fucking touch me you degenerate!” Neito shouted at Bakugou, before ducking under his arm and running back over to Todoroki.

“Honestly, What is even happening right now?” Bakugou mumbled under his breath, placing his hand in his forehead.

“Here, as much as I hate to admit it; you’re not as lame as you once were. So Hang out with us again.” Neito said placing a small piece of paper in Todoroki’s hand before running out the door.

Bakugou's watched as the blonde made his speedy exit before finding Kirishima’s gaze  once again as bitter words spilled from his mouth, “Why are you still here?!”

Kirishima opened his mouth to speak but opted not to, as it didn't feel like the correct time or place to do so. Walking towards the door he stopped at Bakugou's side, “I want to see you again, we really need to talk.”

With that Kirishima disappeared, closing the door behind him. Now alone with Bakugou; Todoroki continued to stare at the floor, waiting for whatever Bakugou was going to say next. Although the words he was was waiting for never came, instead the only sound to reach his ears was the light tapping of a knife to cutting board began as it echo from the kitchen.

Todoroki's bit down his bottom lip to prevent the curiosity from opening them. Looking down at his fist he opened his palm, the piece of paper Neito gave him still crumpled in the center.

“What even is that?” Bakugou called out, his voice loud and clear.

Unraveling it Todoroki could make out the messily scribbled numbers, “I think it's his phone number.”

“How did you even end up with that guy? I thought you were going to Deku's tonight.”

There they were, all of Todoroki's lies coming to the surface.

“It's a long story..” Todoroki spoke hesitantly, hoping Bakugou wouldn't dwell too long on the subject.

Luckily enough there was no response and ten or so minutes passed before Bakugou emerged from the kitchen a small black bowl in hand.

“Come.”

Todoroki stared blankly in response, trying to figure out what exactly his roommate had done.

“Now!” Bakugou repeated this time the tone of his voice more rugged and impatient.

Todoroki stood up quickly, stumbling a bit at first before wobbling towards the table.

Bakugou watch his disoriented roommate in frustration before a sigh spilled from his lips as he quickly took to Todoroki's side. Wrapping Todoroki's arm around his neck for support and guiding him to the table. Once sitting at the table, Todoroki peered into the bowl. Taking note of the small pieces of tofu and seaweed which floated about. Miso soup?

“Eat.” Bakugou demanded, taking his seat across from Todoroki. Watching to make sure Todoroki ate. Todoroki took a small spoonful of it into his mouth, allowing the salty flavor to spread across his tongue, the soup’s warmth soothing his throat.

“So are you going to tell me what happened?” Bakugou spoke, causing Todoroki to freeze, spoon mid-air.

Quickly regaining his composure, Todoroki shook his head, “I told you before that I'm fine.”

“Seriously, you’re still going with that.”

“Yes.” Todoroki nodded

Bakugou scoffed, “Fine if you don't want to tell me then whatever. It's not like I care anyways.” Standing up he started for his room.

“Where are you going?” Todoroki called out.

Turning around Bakugou racked his mind for some clever remark but found none. “It's Monday, I have class at 9am remember or are you too shitfaced for that?”

“Oh.”

Bakugou glanced at the clock now realizing that it was already edging towards 7am, “Fuck I'm gonna be late.”

Quickly going to his room, Bakugou began to prepare his clothes for the day when a loud thump echoed from the kitchen.

“What the fuck are you doing no-” Bakugou walked back out into the kitchen only to find that Todoroki had collapsed in the floor, spilling what was left of his soup on the way down.

At this point whatever was left of Bakugou's frustration had completely melted away and though he wanted to maintain his careless attitude it would be a lie to say he wasn't concerned. Sure Todoroki could be dimwitted at times but he was always cautious, so him being like this is something Bakugou never expected to see. Kneeling beside Todoroki, Bakugou hooked one hand under his knees and the other on his back before lifting him up and carrying him towards his room. Position him on the bed, Bakugou pulled the soft blanket from the end of the mattress and covered Todoroki with it before turning towards the the door. A small tug on the hem of his shirt stopping him.

“Don’t..” Todoroki said in his sleep, before his hand dropped off the side of the bed.

Rolling his eyes, Bakugou stared at his roommate in contempt.

“Really, I swear you wouldn't last a day on your own.”

Without hesitation Bakugou pulled his phone from his pocket and texted one of his classmates.

-- I'm gonna miss our 9am. Can you take notes for me? I'll be there this afternoon.

Stuffing it back in his pocket, he let out yet another sigh. How many is that already this morning? “You realize the weeks barely begun and you already have me like ten times more stressed out than usual.” Bakugou spoke to Todoroki in a matter-of-fact tone. Rubbing either side of of his temples, Bakugou took one last look around the room before he starting toward the kitchen.

What the fuck is up with today?

Using the dishes as a distraction, Bakugou attempted to quiet his thoughts. Humming slightly as he washed each plate and bowl before placing them in the drying rack.

Reaching for the pan on the stove, he was suddenly reminded of the events which transpired the night before.

“Fuck.” He groaned leaning against the counter. Why did I let him do that?

Cupping his face with his hands, Bakugou could practically feel the embarrassment creeping onto his face. That bastard, just who does he think he is?!

“Next time I see him, I’m gonna set him straight.” Bakugou mumbled to himself. “You already fooled me once, like hell I would let that happen again.”

Grabbing one of the rags from the sink, he began wiping the counter aggressively.

---

Cleaning the remainder of the apartment ended up taking long than Bakugou had expected. As by the time he finished sweeping the floors, washing his blankets and cleaning the all of the rooms with exception to Todoroki’s, it was already almost two. Taking a quick shower he slipped on a grey sweater with black pants and shoes before plopping onto the couch. A deep ridge forming between his eyebrows as he stared at the clock once more.

He’s still sleeping?

Tilting his head back Bakugou pondered what he could do. Missing class wasn’t an option but neither was leaving Todoroki alone given the state he was in. Bakugou’s narrowed his eyes at the ceiling. I’m gonna have to call him.

Grabbing his phone once more, Bakugou dialed his number unenthusiastically.

“Kacchan?” Midoriya’s voice echoed through the speaker.

“Deku.” Bakugou responded curtly, not saying anymore than that.

“It’s unusual to hear from y-”

“I didn’t call to chitchat with you.”

“Right.”

“I need you to come over.”

“What?!” Midoriya exclaimed. “Why?”

“It’s about Todoroki.”

---

Frantic knocking at the door, sent Bakugou running across the room.

“Are you fucking stupid?!” Bakugou yelled in a hushed voice as he it open. “The dumbass is still sleeping!”

“Sorry.” Midoriya said as he stepped inside, slipping off his shoes at the doorway just as Bakugou was slipping his on.

“Whatever.” Bakugou spoke. “I have to go or else I’m gonna be late for class. Just text me if he wakes up, Okay?”

“Okay.”

With that, Bakugou slung his backpack over his shoulder and left. Leaving Midoriya standing awkwardly at the entrance.

Walking further into the apartment the green haired boy set his bag down on the counter before making his way down the hall towards Todoroki’s room. Peeking his head inside he could make out Todoroki's sleeping figure. The slight up and down motion of his friends breathing bringing him a small bit of relief.

Turning around Midoriya started to close the door but a small voice called out before he could close it completely, “Midoriya?”

“Yes?”  Midoriya said instinctively before his eyes went wide with shock. “Wait you're up!!?”

Todoroki sat up slowly, “What are you doing here?”

“Kacchan called me! He told me what happened. He thought you were sleeping!”

Todoroki got up quickly and though a bit wobbly was able to regained his balance as he worked over to Midoriya, “He did?!”

But why?

As Todoroki moved closer toward the door, the light from the hallway shed on his disheveled appearance.
“Wow..” Midoriya spoke. “Kacchan wasn’t kidding. Your face looks terrible.”

“Thanks.” Todoroki mumbled, rolling his eyes before pushing past his friend and heading towards the kitchen. Stopping briefly at the end of the hallway to admire the newly cleaned apartment before going directly to the fridge.

“I’m starving.” He groaned, pulling it open the door.

Going to lean against the wall by the fridge, Midoriya watched his friend with a concerned expression. “So why exactly are you avoiding Kacchan?”

“I’m not avoiding him.”

“Sure, that’s why you’ve stayed in your room all day pretending to be asleep.”

“It wasn’t all day, only a few hours. But after I woke up, I just wasn’t prepared to be confronted by him yet.” Todoroki defended, stuffing a cold piece of fried chicken in his mouth.

“How come?” Midoriya pushed. “Did you get in a fight? Is he the one th-”

“No!” Todoroki exclaimed. “No! He would never. Why would you even insinuate that?”

“Sorry but your acting so weird and plus you’re all beat up. I'm just not really understanding the situation.” Midoriya explained. “Though I guess you're right, when Kacchan called me he was so cold...”

Cold? I knew it. He’s mad.

“..but then he told me that you had gotten hurt and the tone of his voice changed.” Midoriya said. “He seemed more troubled, I don’t know how to explain it.”

Todoroki sighed as he took a seat at the table, taking the whole container of chicken with him. “I think I know what it is.”

“What?”

“I may or may not have seen something I shouldn’t have.”

“What do you mean?”

“Well it’s more like someone not something.”

“Okay.”

“It was by accident though! I wasn’t supposed to come home till later but I forgot me keys and I tried to leave but the-”

“Todoroki!” Midoriya spoke, cutting off his friends rambling. “Who did you see?”

“Kirishima.”

“What?” Midoriya asked a hint of disbelief in his voice.

“I know, I was so surprised to see him. To be honest after high school I never expected to come face to face with him ever again.”

“I mean yeah and after graduation I didn’t think there was any chance of them getting back together.” Midoriya relented as he tapped his fingers on the table.

“Yeah it's cra- wait.” Todoroki paused. “What do you mean back together?”

“What? You didn’t know?”

“No I didn’t! Obviously!” Todoroki exclaimed, slamming his palms on the table.

“Whoa there is no need to get so worked up.” Midoriya said. “How did you not know? Literally everyone knew.”

“Not me.” Todoroki groaned. “Why did they even break up? And that means Bakugou's knew he was gay even then?”

Midoriya shrugged his shoulders, “I guess? I mean he was never really open about it. It was just one of those things that everyone knew but no one really talked about. And as for their break up, I don’t really know the specifics but I know it had something to do with Kirishima up and disappearing after graduation.”

Todoroki laid his head on the table as he mumbled to himself, “How did I not notice?”

“Why does it matter? It’s not really a big deal whether you knew or not.” Midoriya questioned further. “And also that still doesn’t explain why your face is the way it is.”

“Oh right.” Todoroki spoke, laying his hand gently on his face. Wincing slightly due the tenderness of his cheek. “This was something else.”

“What was it?”

Todoroki hesitated to speak. What am I supposed to say? I flirted with a stranger and got assaulted? No.

“Okay, let me take a shower first.” Todoroki said suddenly as he stood up from his chair.

“What?! No!” Midoriya exclaimed as he reached for Todoroki’s arm. Pulling him back down into his seat, “You’re not getting away that easy. Explain yourself.”

Todoroki groaned as he looked at his friend’s face, a concerned look engraved on it.

“It’s a long story though.”

“Don’t worry we have time.”

You’re not letting this go are you.

“Fine! Last night I went out with some people.”

“Who?”

“Do you remember Neito and Hitoshi?” Todoroki asked. “Apparently we went to high school with them.”

“Neito and Hitoshi?” Midoriya repeated, resting his hand on his chin as he spoke, “Ah! You mean Monoma and Shinsou?”

“Are those their names?”

“Yeah.” Midoriya nodded. “But I didn’t know you knew them on a first name basis.”

“Yeah that’s a whole story on it’s own. But basically we went to a club last night and..” Todoroki went on to explain the events which had occurred the night before. Unaware of just how much he had been holding back. The words spilling from Todoroki’s mouth relentlessly which explained everything in detail. From the flirting to the making out to what happened with Chiaki.

“And yeah..” Todoroki said as his words started to slow down. “Then I came home and everything else happene--”

Before he could finish Midoriya had engulfed him in a hug.

“What this?” Todoroki asked, taken off guard by Midoriya’s actions. The green haired boy said nothing in response as a small sniffle was the only thing to escape him. Pulling away, Midoriya placed both of his hands on Todoroki’s shoulders.

“We have to go report this.”

“What?!” Todoroki’s eyes widened. “No!”

“What do you mean no?!” Midoriya yelled. “Todoroki how can you say that when you were..” Trailing off Midoriya lowered his voice, “How can you say that? He assaulted you.”

“And I let him.” Todoroki said bluntly. “I put myself in that situation willingly.”

“That doesn’t make it any less illegal!”

“And?!” Todoroki snapped. “What are the police gonna do? I’m not a girl. If I walk in a say I got assaulted their only gonna look down on me. Like I’m not ashamed enough!”

Midoriya let out a sigh, “Did you atleast tell Kacchan?”

“No.”

“Why not?”

“Because he doesn’t need to know.” Todoroki spoke. “It’s none of his business what happened to me.”

“It kind of is.”

“How so?”

“You literally live together.” Midoriya said. “And you’ve known each other for how long?”

“Eight years.”

“Eight years. Eight years and you can't even confide in each other about such a serious matter. What’s with that?”

Todoroki swallowed hard, feeling a pang of guilt in his stomach. His own words from the previous day echoing in his mind. He had just confronted Bakugou about not being more open and yet here was closing himself off.

“Don’t take this the wrong way?” Midoriya spoke, pulling Todoroki from his thoughts. “But if that's really how things are, then maybe this isn’t gonna work out.”

“What isn’t?”

“You and Bakugou and living together.”

Todoroki lips parted in shock, “What do you mean?”

“I mean, I never said anything because I always assumed that you and Kacchan had just grown closer but now I see that’s not really the case.”

“I can’t move.”

“I know not right away, but eventually. If you need to you can stay with me until you find another place. Uraraka can even help you with the apartment hunting.”

“No it's not that I can't, I don’t want to.” Todoroki said candidly. “I’m not leaving.”

Midoriya looked at his friend with a complex look on his face, “Todoroki, think about it honestly and what's happen. Do you really want to keep living here?”

“what do you mean, nothing has happened and yes! Why is this even being brought up?!”

Midoriya let out a sigh, “I’m just worried about you. I mean you don’t have to decide right away but please think about it.”

----

Bakugou stepped out of his class slightly annoyed. No matter how hard he tried to focus on the lecture, he couldn’t stop thinking about Todoroki. Had he woke up yet? Did he eat? Has he treated his wounds?

Shoving his notebook and into his bag, he pulled out his phone as he made his way to the elevator.

No messages.

“Maybe I should stop by the store and get him some food.” Bakugou thought to himself as exited the building. Heading towards the front gate, freezing in place at the sound of his first name being called.

“Katsuki!”

Looking around, Bakugou's eyes sharpened into a glare as he spotted a familiar head of red hair in the distance.

Great just the person I didn’t want to see.

“What are you doing here?” Bakugou spat.

Kirishima shrugged his shoulders as he inched closer. “I told you earlier that I wanted to see you again.”

“Yeah, but I never said I wanted to see you.” Bakugou said bluntly, turning on his heel to continue walking.

Kirishima reach for his hand to stop him, “Come on, I know you don’t mean that Katsuki.”

“You’re awfully confident.”

“No, I just know you.”

“Correction,” Bakugou started. “You knew me. People chang and stop calling me by name.”

“Just hear me out.” Kirishima pleaded, tightening his grip on Bakugou’s hand. “Please.”

Don’t do it. Don’t do it. Don’t do it.

“Fine.”

A wide smile spread across Kirishima’s face, as he intertwined their fingers and guided Bakugou off campus. Bakugou watched Kirishima’s back as they made their way through the city.

“Where the fuck are we even going?”

“You’ll see.”

Bakugou's lips pressed into a straight line, he always did hate surprises. As the two boys approached a large crowd, Kirishima wrapped his arm firmly around Bakugou’s waist, “Stay close.”

“I can handle myself.” Bakugou muttered inaudibly.

Pushing through the multitude of people Kirishima kept him close, close enough for Bakugou to be engulfed in his cologne.

He still wears the same kind.

The smell along with it’s sweetness brought back a slew of memories from high school. All the times they ditched class to go to that cafe by the station or the late night rides home on the train as well as all the times they-- Feeling the heat on his face, Bakugou’s shook his head. Trying to keep all those memories buried as they arrived to a small restaurant.

“Sit here.” Kirishima said. “I’m going to order.”

As he waited alone, Bakugou couldn’t help but reflect on his actions. Just what was he doing here? This wasn’t the plan. Only minutes later, Kirishima arrived with a few drinks.

“Here, I got you a--”

“What do you want Kirishima?” Bakugou said trying to not drag out this encounter any longer than necessary. Half out of anger and half out of fear. Fear for what exactly? He couldn't explain it.

“I told you. I just wanted to see you.”

Glancing into the distance, Bakugou let out a irritated sigh. “No..not that. Be serious. I've made it quite clear I don't want anything to do with you so why are you being so persistent. Saturday night was supposed to be it.”

“I know but--”

“And then you conned me into inviting you over yesterday.”

“I know, I know and there's a reason.”

“Then what is it?”

“Listen a lot of stuff happened back then and I know I should of tol-”

“Stop.” Bakugou interrupted. “Just stop we're not doing this.”

Grabbing his bag, Bakugou stood up quickly to leave but was stopped short as Kirishima reached out and took hold of his hand.

“I want you back!”

Chapter Text

“You can't be serious,” Bakugou huffed. Unable to believe the words coming out of Kirishima's mouth.

“I am.”

Dipping his head back in disbelief, Bakugou's laughed. “Yeah, No.”

“Just hear me out.”

“That's what I've been trying to do but you really have changed if you think I'm going to just leap into your arms after all this time, after everything you put me through.”

“Please.”

“No! I can't do this. I really can't.” Bakugou spoke, his voice soft in comparison to it's usual irate tone.

“I'm not asking for much..” Kirishima started. “..and I know it would be easier for you to walk away but I-”

“Excuse me, but what?”

“What?”

“No, what did you just say?” Bakugou said as he took his seat once more, his eyebrows drawing together. “It would be easy for  me to walk away? Really.”

Kirishima looked from side to side, trying to put together what was wrong with what he had said.

“Un-fucking-believable.” Bakugou laughed. “I think you're forgetting that you're the one who walked away! You left me, not the other way around! You can't be upset that I'm not letting you just pick up were you left off! A matter of fact, you're not allowed to be upset!”

“Ka-”

“No!”

“Please!” Kirishima shouted, his loud tone garnering concerned looks from bystanders.

“Please what?” Bakugou asked, not breaking his gaze.

“Just let me explain.”

“No, in fact how about you let me explain so maybe you can actually get it through your fucking head.” Bakugou said, his voice dripping with animosity. “I loved you. I loved you so much! You, you were my fucking everything, literally my whole world, and you left me!” The words left Bakugou like air from his lungs and it suddenly it was hard breath.

“Then why?”

Shaking his head, Bakugou's expression dulled. “Why what?”

“Why can't we start over?”

“You really haven't heard a fucking word that has came out of my mouth have you?” Bakugou scoffed. “You left me. That day w e were supposed to sign the rental agreement to our apartment remember, you told me to meet you  at the realtor office the morning after graduation. Everything was planned out perfect. We were suppose to start our lives together."

"I remember that." Kirishima said, the corners of his lips lifting up in a small smile as he recalled the memory.

“I'm glad because that means you know what happened next.” Bakugou spoke sarcastically. “ Someone , meaning you. Never showed. You left me without as single word and I waited for you. I really did, I waited for four hours outside that office like a fucking idiot.”

Kirishima's smile faltered and his lips pressed together, opting not to respond he looked down towards the table.

“And you know what the worst part was,” Bakugou continued. “It’s that years after you left, I honestly thought the reason had something to do with me. That there was something wrong with me. Can you even imagine how much that fucked with not just my heart but my head. You made it impossible for me to move on and yet just when I'm finally better. Finally coming to terms with things,  you show up and ask me to do it all over again.”

Standing up, Bakugou glowered down at Kirishima. “Just stay away from me.”

Walking quickly, Bakugou only made it so far before Kirishima called out to him from behind.

“I'm sorry Katsuki! I am.”

Not turning around, Bakugou only listened as he spoke.

“But no matter what you say, I'm not gonna give up. I love you and I'm gonna prove it to you.” Kirishima continued.

“Idiot.” Bakugou mumbled before continuing his way home.

Returning home, Bakugou was surprised to catch Midoriya just as he was leaving.

“Where are you going?” Bakugou asked, arching one of his brow. “Is Todoroki awake?”

“Yeah, he's taking a shower right now.” Midoriya said, shifting his eyes to the side.

“Why didn't you text me then?”

“Oh, sorry. We were talking.”

“Okay.”

“Well,” Midoriya said. “I'm gonna go now.”

"Wait." Bakugou said, stepping in front of Midoriya. “Before you go, did he by chance mention anything to you?”

“What do you mean?”

“Todoroki. Did he you know, tell you what happened?”

Midoriya paused, unsure of how he should answer but his silence was enough for Bakugou know he did.

“You don't have to tell me. I just wanted to know that whatever it is he's going through, he isn't trying to do it alone.” Bakugou said simply, causing Midoriya's eyes to widen at this declaration.

“Um..Kacchan,” Midoriya said abruptly as he fought against the small voice in the back of his head telling him not to. “Can you walk me down?”

“Hah?” Bakugou turned, cocking his head to one side as he looked at Midoriya. “Can I what?”

“Walk me down.”

Despite his natural instinct to snap back, Bakugou nodded, walking towards the elevator along side the green haired boy. “I'm so tired of following people around today.” He muttered to himself.

“What?”

“Nothing.” Bakugou said bluntly as he got in the elevator with Midoriya and watched the doors close. “Alright, are you gonna tell me why I'm acting as your escort to the first floor?”

“You didn't have too.” Midoriya said simply, already regretting the choice to involve himself in such a situation. Just what was he doing? Todoroki trusted him and he was about to tell Bakugou everything.

“You're right, but if it involves Todoroki I want to know. If he's in trouble, I want to help."

“Kacchan you actually really care about him  don't you?”

“Shut up.” Bakugou barked. “Don't make me seem all sappy. We live together that's it. Isn't it normal to be concerned about the person you sleep under the same roof with.”

Midoriya's eyebrow quirked upwards, “You don't need to convince me. Trust me I didn't mean anything by it.”

“Just get to the point of why I'm here before I kick your ass.”

“Right,” Midoriya swallowed hard. “So about Todoroki. Um, well last night as you have probably put together by now, he went out.”

“Yeah I do know that much.”

“Well somehow, he ended up Monoma and Shinsou?”

“How?”

“He didn't say but they went to some club together.”

“Okay.”

“While he was there he met some guy and they started flirting. Todoroki was gonna hook up with him.”

Bakugou frowned at this statement, a startling uneasiness filling his stomach. Narrowing his eyes, he nodded for Midoriya to continue.

“Well in the middle of them, you know, Todoroki said the guy's whole attitude changed. He became a bit more forceful and well Todoroki didn't like that.”

Feeling sick, Bakugou looked down at Midoriya's feet as the elevator doors opened. "You can stop. I understand now.”

“Kacchan, he-”

“That's enough! I don't want to hear anymore.” Bakugou snapped, his fist clenched tightly at his side. “Go.”

Tentatively stepping out of the elevator, Midoriya watched his old friend with a tight lipped smile as he disappeared behind the closing doors.

Entering the apartment, Bakugou was surprised to find Todoroki standing at the kitchen sink with a glass of water.

“Hey,” Todoroki spoke quietly, his voice a bit shaky.

Taking notice of the small water droplets that sat atop his cheek, he wet hair dangling just over his eyes and the towel around his neck. It was obvious he had barely gotten out of the shower. “How do you feel?”

“Good.”

Stepping closer to Todoroki, Bakugou pushed the wet hair from his face. Now that the dried blood had been washed away, he could see Todoroki's injuries clearer and excluding the black eye and bruising on the right side of his face, his busted lip wasn't as bad as it had looked previously and the small cut above his eyebrow didn't appear as deep as it once did either.

“What are you doing?” Todoroki asked.

“Nothing. Have you ate yet?”

“I ate some left over chicken when I woke up but other than that not really.”

“I'll make dinner.”

“Are you sure? It's pretty late already.”

“Yeah,” Bakugou nodded as he pushed up his sleeves and walked over to the sink. “I could use the distraction.”

“From what?”

“What do you mean?”

“You said you needed a distraction. From what?”

Bakugou faltered at the task at hand, coming to a slow stop as he looked to Todoroki. Every part of him biting back the urge to tell Todoroki, that he knew.

“It's okay if you don't want to tell me.” Todoroki relented, leaning against the counter.

“You know,” Bakugou started as he retrieved some vegetables from the fridge and the cutting board from atop the stove. “I really don't know what I want to do. Yesterday you were preaching about being more open with each other but today you won't even tell me what happened to you.”

“It because it wasn't that big of a deal.”

“Then why won't you tell me.”

Todoroki's mouth opened but no words came out.

“It's because something happened,” Bakugou spoke in a knowing tone. “And whatever it is, you're trying to deal with alone when you don't have to!”

Bakugou didn't even realize the rising tone of his own voice as he spoke, his eyes glistening over as he threw the cut vegetables into the heated frying pan. Making sure to keep his back turned to Todoroki the entire time.

“I'm not dealing with it alone, I'm not dealing with any-”

“That's right you have Deku huh, he's real dependent isn't he.”

“I didn- wait.” Todoroki stopped mid-sentence. “Midoriya? What does he have to do with this.”

Bakugou gripped the edge of the counter, angry at his own slip up.

“Bakugou?” Todoroki repeated, wrinkles forming across his forehead as he looked to Bakugou with the slightest hope that what he was thinking wasn't true. That Bakugou didn't know about that .

Turning off the stove, Bakugou kept his head down as he pushed back Todoroki. “I don't feel like cooking anymore, sorry.”

Without much thought Todoroki reached out, grabbing the blonde boy's hand. “Wait.”

Leaving his hand in Todoroki's grasp, Bakugou kept his head down. “What?”

“Let me tell you what happened. In my own words.” Todoroki declared, tightening his grip on Bakugou's hand.

“Okay, tell me.”

“Can you look at me?” Todoroki asked.

“I don't want too.”

“Please.”

“Are you gonna tell me or not?”

Taking a deep breath; Todoroki, for the second time that night, explained the what happened at the club the night before. When he was done there was nothing. Just silence. Bakugou’s head still firmly locked in its downward gaze towards the floor, giving no response.

“Please say something.” Todoroki pleaded, his voice starting to crack. “Anything.”

Silence.

This is exactly what I was trying to avoid. Todoroki thought as he released his hold on Bakugou and made a beelined to his room.

“Wait,” Bakugou said, grabbing Todoroki from behind. Hooking his arms under his shoulders, pulling him into a tight hug. “Just wait.”

It was in that moment that Todoroki felt it. Droplets, small and hot that seeped into the back of his shirt.

He's crying?

A small twinge in Todoroki heart had him gripping his chest. Never in his life had he thought that he would find something scarier than Bakugou's anger but he had. Bakugou's tears brought a greater fear than any possible kick or punch ever could. Naturally, Todoroki wanted to embrace, to comfort him. But the way Bakugou hid his face proved it would be best if no one acknowledge his tears had even fallen, so instead Todoroki kept quite. Pretending not to notice them at all.

After a while Bakugou finally pulled away, wiping his face. “Sorry.” He mumbled. “Your the one who got hurt yet I'm acting weak and injured.”

“No your not.” Todoroki said, finally turning around to look Bakugou in the eye.

“Today has just been,” Bakugou searched for the correct words. “Complete shit.”

“No kidding.” Todoroki said, taking notice of a single tear which still sat atop Bakugou's cheek. Fighting the urge to reach out and wipe it for him, Todoroki continued. “I think the past 48 hours have been terrible for both of us.”

“Yeah but what's happening to me doesn't even compare to what happened to you.”

“It's fine, I-”

“No, it's not fine. Please don't sweep it under the rug like it didn't happen. It's okay to talk about it, and if you want, I'm here you can to talk to me. Though you don't have to, I know it's unfair for me to want to know everything.”

“It's fine, I feel better knowing I can depend you. It think I was just scared of being treated like some helpless victim. Even if it doesn't look like it, I did put up a pretty good fight you know.”

Bakugou chuckled, “I'm glad, though who ever that guy is, he better hope we never see him again or I'm gonna kick his ass.”

“Thanks.” Todoroki said, feeling the tension exiting his shoulders for what seemed like the first time in forever. “Damn and it's barely Monday too.”

“Tell me about it, I hope this isn't a preview for the week to come.”

“God I hope not. I'm still stressed that I have to go to work tomorrow after blowing off my shift today.”

“Oh, no you're fine.” Bakugou said with a sniffle. “I called them for you.”

“You did?”

“Yeah, I told them you had some family shit to deal with and they said to go ahead take the week off, hopefully that'll be enough for all your injuries to heal. Though I don't think your next paychecks gonna be that good.”

Exhaling, Todoroki rubbed his face as laughter began to spill from his lips. “Damn I don't even care, I've never been so fucking relieved in my life.”

Todoroki's unanticipated cursing caused an equal amount of laughter to escape Bakugou as he walked over and flopped down on the couch. “Yeah I think I'm gonna email my professors tomorrow. Cause after the day I've, I need to take one to recharge.”

“Oh, yeah about that.” Todoroki started, taking a seat on the couch by Bakugou's head. “I wanted to say sorry.”

“For what?”

“Coming home while you had Kirishima over.”

“Forget about it.” Bakugou replied as he stared up at the ceiling. “I'm over it already.”

“Oh, Alright.” Todoroki said, fiddling with his fingers. “Are you guys..”

“No.” Bakugou said quickly. “We’re not. It's, It's just complicated.”

Looking down at Bakugou as he laid on the couch, Todoroki searched his gaze, marveling at mix of emotions they held but at the same time didn't quite know what he was looking for. Fighting the curiosity to push Bakugou for more information on the topic, Todoroki held his silence. Although just as he could with everyone, Bakugou could feel the boy's hesitation to question things further.  Looking up he offered his roommate a small smile, “One day. Not today but one day, I'll tell you about it.”

Chapter Text

Bakugou scrunched his nose at the muffled ringing. Ah, Phone. Moving his hand around the area in front him, he tried feeling around for it but instead found something else, or rather someone. Sitting up instantly he rubbed his face with both his hands, giving his eyes little time to adjust as they darted around the room before landing on Todoroki; who in that moment appeared to have slept sitting upright all night.

Bakugou tilted his head to the side as he watched his sleeping roommate and suddenly it was like all the events which had transpired the previous night replayed in his head. A sigh of regret escaping him as he recalled just what it was he had done.   What the fuck was that? Honestly. Crying in front of Todoroki was the last think Bakugou had ever expected to do. There was just no rational explanation for it. Perhaps it was the sudden openness between them, or maybe it had to do with his underlying issues with Kirishima. Whatever it was, it was making him appear weak and in front of Todoroki of all people. He felt bare, like all of his secrets had been revealed and though that wasn’t necessarily the case, Bakugou didn’t like the idea of people being able read him. He had never considered himself to be an open book either but instead a closed one, that sat on the highest shelf, rarely touched and never read. And that’s the way he wanted it to stay.

Sudden vibrations reminded him of his phone once more, digging around inside the cushions until he found the familiar rectangular shape.

“Who the fuck,” Bakugou mumbled as he looked at who was calling. His lips pressing into a tight line at the name which appeared across the screen. Speak of the devil. He really doesn’t know what to give up does he.

Eijirou -- Bakugou stared at the name on the phone screen, his thumb hovering over the red button. A few moments passing before the screen returned to his wallpaper, a notification appearing at the top to indicate he had missed the call.

Exhaling deeply, Bakugou felt the tension leave his shoulders as he leaned against the couch. Though his relief was short lived as his phone began to ring again only seconds later. Answering with a huff, Bakugou spoke angrily into the speaker. “What do you want?”

“You finally answered.”

“And?”

“Nothing, I’ve just been trying to get a hold of you all morning.”

“And?”

“Well,” Kirishima trailed off causing a brief moment of silence between them before he continued. “What are you doing right now?”

“Nothing.” Bakugou replied bluntly. “Didn’t I say not to contact me anymore.”

“Listen I-”

“I feel like I’ve been listening a lot.”

“Yesterday doesn’t count I-”

“What the fuck do you mean it doesn’t count?!” Bakugou snapped. “I’m pretty sure it does.”

“I mean, I reflected a bit when I got back to my place last night and I realized I probably went about things the wrong way.”

“No shit.”

“So I wanna try again.”

Rolling his eyes, Bakugou glanced at Todoroki once more before getting up and heading towards the kitchen. “See I don’t know what kind of game you think this is, but you can’t just revive yourself after you’ve died.”

“I don’t think this is a game-”
“Really cause it sure seems like it to me.”

“I just want to explain myself.”

“Then explain yourself.”

“I- wait what.”

“Fuck!” Bakugou mouthed as buried his face in his hand. Taking a deep breath he continued, “If you want to explain yourself then do it.”

“Right now?”

“Right now. I’m tired of meeting up with you. It’s more stress than it’s worth and we never get anywhere.”

Bakugou leaned on the counter near the sink as he waited for Kirishima’s response. Minutes passed, each one filled with complete silence, till Kirishima’s voiced echoed hesitantly through the phone.

“I’m sorry.”

“What?”

“I said I’m sorry.” Kirishima repeated. “Last night, when you told me about what happened after I left, about how you felt. I ignored it.” Looking down at his shoes, Bakugou’s grip on his phone tightened as he continued to listen. “I shouldn’t of done that. But I was desperate.”

“For what?”

“For you.” Kirishima said bluntly. “I mean, I didn’t lie when I said I wanted you back and seeing you after all this time was scary.”

Scary? Bakugou’s eyes wandered around the kitchen before landing back on the floor, “What do you mean?”

“I mean you had basically already moved on. I was worried that you had forgotten me, or didn’t need me anymore.”

“Well you're half right. I don’t need you anymore.” Bakugou said. “Though as for forgetting you...I don’t think I could ever do that. Even though apart of me wants to as I mentioned last night, you were a big part of my life. Nothing can erase that.”

“I feel that same way.”

“But.”

“But?”

“That doesn’t change what you did.”

“I know and like I said I’m sorry.”

“You know,” Bakugou started. “I’m past the point of wanting apologies. “I just want to know why?’

“I-” Kirishima stumbled a bit as first. “It was because I need time.”

“Time for what exactly?”

“Myself..”

“Yourself?”

“It hard to explain.”

“Well I’m done wai-”

“Who are you talking to?” A voice interrupted.

Looking up, Bakugou’s gaze was met with that of a half asleep Todoroki’s.

“I got to go.” Bakugou spoke into the phone.

“Wai-” Kirishima’s words cut off as the line went dead.

“It was no one.” Bakugou responded to Todoroki. Wait why the fuck am I lying?

“No one?” Todoroki repeated back to Bakugou.

“Yeah. No one.” Bakugou spoke, walking over and  pulling open one of the cupboards. “Do you want some coffee?”

“Uh, Sure.” Todoroki nodded as he watched Bakugou suspiciously, knowing for a fact that who ever Bakugou was talking to was most definitely someone.

After fixing them both a cup of coffee, Bakugou took his usual seat next to Todoroki at the kitchen table. “Sorry I made you sleep on the couch.”

Todoroki shrugged, “It fine. We’ve both been through a lot these past few days.”

“Yeah..” Bakugou trailed off. His previous conversation with Kirishima, replaying in his head.

Why do I feel so nervous? I didn’t even do anything. Sipping on his coffee, Bakugou would occasionally look up at Todoroki. Only to see him tracing his finger across the rim of his cup while staring off into space. I don’t want to trouble him. That was it, Bakugou decided for himself. Todoroki had just been through hell and the last thing he needed was more baggage on top of that.

“Are you okay?”

“Hm,” Bakugou responded, instantly being pulled back to reality. “Me?”

“Yeah, you look like somethings on you mind.”

“It's nothing.”

“Are you sure?”

“Hey,” Bakugou snapped before he looked down and away from Todoroki's gaze. “Don't get full of yourself okay.”

“What?”

“Just because I..,” Bakugou started but faded into a mumble, not wanting to bring it up again.

“Because you?” Todoroki pushed, his head tilting off the the side.

“Yesterday.” said Bakugou, almost inaudibly.

Yesterday? Although a lot had happened during the previous day it didn't take long Todoroki to figure out what was most likely the thing bothering Bakugou.

“You mean when you c-”

Before the last Todoroki his words could escape his mouth, Bakugou hand came down hard on Todoroki’s arm. “You don't need to say it aloud!”

“Okay! You don't need to hit me though!” Todoroki defended.

“Shut up! What happened yesterday was a one time thing! Let's get that straight. Just because we agreed to open up more doesn't mean I have to tell you everything!”

“Okay!” Todoroki defended once more. “I never said it did! Why are you being so defensive?!”

Bakugou pressed his lips into firm line. He didn't have an answer for that one. Why? That was a good question.

“Does it have something to do with your phone call earlier?”

The blonde's eyes sharpened into a deadly glare and Todoroki caved in immediately, “Never mind. Sorry I asked.”

“Just-,” Bakugou hesitated. “I'll tell you something if I feel I want you to know.”

Not giving Todoroki the chance to respond, Bakugou disappeared down the hall to his room and the loud slam of a closing door followed soon after.

Now I'm ever more curious. Todoroki thought as his eyes narrowed at the entrance to the hallway, “Who were you talking to?”

Less than fifteen minutes later, Bakugou appeared once more. This time fully dressed.

“Are you going somewhere?”

“School.”

“What happened to staying home?”

“I changed my mind.”

“Okay??”

“I'll be home late. Don't wait up.”

“Okay.” Todoroki repeated this time a hesitant tone in his voice.

“Okay, see you.” Bakugou said before disappearing once again out the door.

In the days that followed, this would become routine. As Todoroki so found it had become increasingly difficult to get a minute nor a mere few seconds of Bakugou's time. As the blond boy would often leave before Todoroki got up in the morning and return long after he had gone to sleep. Making Todoroki question if he had come home at all some nights.

On the fourth day, Todoroki emerged from his room. The lingering effects sleep making his body heavy as he trudged down the hallway. Upon reaching the kitchen he found the plastic cloche setting on the counter, a note attached to the top.

Sorry for not being home much. I'll be home early tonight. Let's eat dinner together. I made breakfast as well so help yourself. -- B

Todoroki's eyebrow quirked upwards as he lifted the cloche and saw the food Bakugou had made. Nothing to flashy; English Muffins with scrambled eggs and chicken on rice, though enough to make his stomach rumble at the sight.

Not questioning the home cooked meal which had been made for him; Todoroki heated the food up quickly before taking a seat at the table. Wasting no time, he shoved a piece of chicken into his mouth. A satisfied moan spill from his lips soon after as the savory flavor spread across his tongue. It's good. He didn't know how, why or where Bakugou learned how to cook, but one thing was for sure; his food had always been nothing short of delicious.

Once finished, he sighed. Now what? With only two days left of his leave; Todoroki had done just about everything he could around the house. Including but not limited to fixing the broken cabinet in the kitchen so Bakugou could finally get some use out of it. Getting up he paced around the living room, before going to the kitchen again and then back to the living room. Eventually pausing as he threw his hands up in defeat. “I can’t do this anymore. I need to go back to work or go out or do something! Anything!” Grabbing a jacket from his room, Todoroki then went to the door and slipped on his shoes before heading out.

While Bakugou had called in for him, Todoroki had yet to talk to his boss personally and to say he was avoiding it would be an understatement.
Though the bar wasn’t far, Todoroki took his time. Idling at every other shop he passed, though it didn’t take him long for him to realized he wasn’t properly dressed for window shopping. The cold nipping at his skin every chance it got as the wind blew in from the east. I should of brought a scarf.
Continuing forward, a sweet aroma soon filled the air around Todoroki.
“What is..” Following his nose, he sound found himself in front of a familiar shop. “This place..”

*Three weeks prior*

“Hurry up would you?” Bakugou barked, as he waited near the shop door.

“I’m coming,” Todoroki grumbled still feeling half asleep. It was unusual for Bakugou to wake him up this early let alone at all. “What is this place?”

“Can’t you read.” said Bakugou as he point up toward the sign which read -- Mitts Coffee.

The shop was small and quaint, the entrance crowded with Bicycles.

“A cafe?”

“Yup. Let’s go inside.”

The inside entire was similar to what Todoroki figured it would be. Small, with the cafe-kitchen like area on one side and a long black bar that was lined with stools on the other, a few table sprinkled down the middle and in the corners of the room. None of them big enough to fit more than two-three people.

“Take a seat,” said Bakugou. “I’ll order for us.”

Sitting down in the far corner of the room, Todoroki watched from afar as Bakugou went up to the corner to order before glancing to his side, a painting which hung on the wall catching his eye. His eyebrows raised as he looked it over. It was an unusual painting to say the least. Baring two figures, their heads covered with a sheet of sorts.

“It’s by Ren é Magritte,” A voice spoke up, causing Todoroki to jump a bit in his seat. “Sorry,” They apologized.

“It’s okay.” Todoroki said laying his hand across his chest as he turned to look at the source of the voice; a petite dark haired girl who was wearing an apron, indicating that she probably worked there.

“Ren é ?” Todoroki repeated back to the girl.

“He was a famous artist in the early twentieth century. He focused on realism and was known for wanting to challenge the preconceived notions of reality.”

“That’s quite the mouthful,” Todoroki chuckled. “And a tad outlandish.”

“Yeah, but that was just how he was. He loved psychology.” She explained. “This painting is particular is called The Lovers.”

“Lovers?” Todoroki repeated as he glanced back over at the painting. “That’s kind of sad.”

“Sad?”

“Yeah, I mean they can’t even see each other.”

“Sure that’s true but they’re embracing each other,” The girl pointed out. “The meaning of this piece has been debated but I think it shows how something can be so close, literally within your grasp but you still can’t see it.”

Todoroki pondered her words for a bit, “I guess I could agree with that. In a way that type of thing happens all the time.”

“How so?”

“I mean on average we pass hundreds, thousands if not millions of people a day and any one of those people could be our future lovers or friends and we don’t even know it. Kind of bittersweet if you think about it.”

“Yeah but that does sound like something Magritte would ponder,” The girl said. “He once said that  - Everything we see hides another thing, we always want to see what is hidden by what we see.”

“Clever guy I guess,” Todoroki chuckled.  “You seem to know a lot about art.”

“Oh, I study it in University.”

“Ah that makes sense.”

“What about you?”

“Me?”

“Yeah, you seem to have affinity.”

“No.” Todoroki shook his head. “ Though I admit it’s kind of interesting, I don’t know much about art.”

“Oh well you could of fooled me.” The girl smiled.

“How much was this by the way?”

“I’m not sure, my brother found it at a thrift sale and he just thought it would be a nice addition to the shop’s decor. Obviously it’s just a copy, so it couldn’t of been too expensive.”

“I think I like it.”

“Like what?” A deep voice interrupted. Todoroki turned to see Bakugou standing a few feet from the table.

“I’ll leave you both to your meal.” The girl excused herself.

As Bakugou took his seat allowing Todoroki to give a brief explanation of his conversation of the girl.

“I didn’t know you like art?”

“I don’t, I think.” Todoroki responded nonchalantly.

“Well here,” Bakugou said, sliding a cup of coffee across the table along with a muffin. Though just as Todoroki reached for it he was surprised to see his hand was swatted away. “Wha- I thought that was for me.”

“It is but wait a fucking minute.” Bakugou said as he dug around in his pocket, pulling out a candle soon after and as if a light bulb had gone off atop Todoroki’s head he suddenly remembered something.

“It’s my birthday.” He blurted out.

“No shit.” Bakugou replied, lighting the small candle that he had just put on the cupcake. “There now make a wish.”

“Aren't you supposed to sing?”

“Don't push you luck shithead.”

Todoroki pondered his wished for a moment before leaning forward and blowing out his candle.

***

Todoroki had not been back to the small Cafe since and the memory itself already felt distant despite it only being three weeks ago.

Just as he reached out for the handle, the door had been pushed open causing him to fall backwards.

“Oh my God I'm so sor-” The high pitched voice stopped mid sentence. “Todoroki is that you?”

Standing up, Todoroki came face to face with a familiar head of pink hair. “Oh, hey Ashido.”

“Don’t hey me.” Ashido said as she scrunched up her nose. “Finally decide you wanted to know me?”

“What?” Todoroki chuckled, standing up to dust off his pants.

“You never texted me!” Ashido said, crossing her arms across her chest. “Like what did I even give you my number for?!”

Resting his hand on the back of his neck, Todoroki gave her an apologetic smile. “Sorry. I’ve been a bit busy.”

“Yeah, Yeah. That’s one I haven’t heard before.”

“No really, it’s been ruff.”

They held each other’s gaze for a few minute before Ashido, tight lip frown fell into a smile. “Geez, calm down would you.” She laughed. “I’m just giving you a hard time.”

“Oh.” Todoroki said, laughing awkwardly. “Yeah, I’m usually bad at picking up on those types of things.”

“No kidding.” Ashido smirked, stepping to the side. “Were you gonna go inside?”

“Ah no.” said Todoroki as he took a few steps back, deciding against his original decision.

“Oh, alright. Well, if you’re not busy why don’t you take a walk with me?”

“A walk?”

“Yeah, last time we talked we didn’t really get a chance to catch up.”

“I guess you're right.” Todoroki said, going along with her request. “Where do you wanna go?”

“There's a park not far from here,” Ashido suggested. “Is that alright?”

“Sounds good to me.” Todoroki nodded once more, ignore his freezing body’s requests to go inside as he followed after Ashido.

“So what have you been up to?” She asked, slowing down her pace to match his.

Hesitating to answer, Todoroki tried his best to formulate some type of response in his head.

“Not good, I’m guessing.” She answered for him.

“What makes you say that?”

Rolling her eyes dramatically, Ashido gave him a knowing look. “I mean, anyone could tell just by taking one look at you. What happened to your face?”

Todoroki’s hand shot up to his cheek, having thought that by now most of his injuries had faded.

“So?” Ashido pushed

“What?”

“Did you win?”

A giggle escaped Todoroki's lips despite not understanding exactly why he was laughing at all. “I guess you could say that.”

Ashido nodded as she moved on to the next subject, “So how's Bakugou?”

“Bakugou?”

“Yeah are you guys still not dating?”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“It means exactly what it means. You guys aren’t dating right?”

“I mean, yeah,” Todoroki said hesitantly. “But why do you have say it like that?”

“How did I say it?”

“You said it like we are dating!”

“Are you?”

“No!”

“I was just asking. Why are you getting worked up about it?”

“I’m not.”

“If you say so.” She said, walking a few steps ahead.

Todoroki’s lips went agape, feeling played at his lost words.

Ashido’s head tilted back as she glanced at Todoroki with a playful smile, “But I’m calling it now.”

“Calling what?”

“You guys will be in each others bed by the end of the year.”
“Will not.”

“Will too.”

“Not.”

“So you’re telling me you’ve never thought of doing..that with Ba-”

“No!” Todoroki shouted. His feet coming to a complete stop an annoying heat settled on his cheeks. “N-no.”

“Ha!” She laughed. “You are such an open book!”

Todoroki’s face grew more red with the passing seconds and his eyebrows bunched together into a conflicted gaze, “I haven’t!”

“Spill it Todoroki!” Ashido said. “When did it start!?”

“When did what start?” He responded with the smallest hope she would drop the subject.

“When did you start thinking about wanting to fuck him?”

“I don’t want to fuck him!” Todoroki yelled, suddenly grabbing the attention of passing bystanders. Oh my god! Covering his face with his hands, Todoroki picked up the pace.

Following after, Ashido pushed for more information. “So when are you gonna confess?”

“Mina please.” Todoroki pleaded. “I told you it’s not like that.”

“No you please, the guilt is written all over your face.”

Pinching the bridge of his nose, Todoroki began to ponder ways out of the situation when suddenly vibrations from his back pocket grabbed his attention. Pulling his phone out of his pocket, Midoriya’s named flashed across the screen. Oh thank god.

“Hey Midoriya, what’s up?” Todoroki said , speaking loud enough for Mina to hear.

“Hey do you have a moment?”

“No way! Are you okay?”

“What?”

Mina’s head dipped to the side, mouthing her word to not interrupt. “Is he ok?”

“Yeah of course, I can come right now!” Todoroki kept speaking into the phone.

“What?” Midoriya asked again in deepening confusion.
“Alright! I’m on my way.”

“On your way whe-” Before Midoriya could finish speaking, Todoroki had ended the call.

“Sorry, Midoriya needs my help. Let’s finish this later!” He called out as he started walking in the opposite direction.

“You can’t run away from this Todoroki!” Ashido called out her voice fading with the distance.   I just did. Todoroki thought to himself.

After finally being able to put enough distance between them, Todoroki’s pace slowed. Eventually coming to a complete stop. Taking a moment to catch his breath, he pulled out his phone once more to call Midoriya back.

“What the heck was that?!” His green haired friend shouted through the phone.

“Sorry,” Todoroki breathed. “I had to get away somehow.”

“Get away? From what?”

“Ashido.”

“Ashido? Like Mina.” Midoriya asked.

“Yeah.”

“Why are you trying to get away from her?”

“It’s a long story. But more importantly, what did you need?” Todoroki responded, taking a seat on a nearby bench.

“I was calling for a few reasons. First being to ask how you are doing?”

“I’m good.”

“That’s good. I was a bit worried since we hadn’t talked since Monday night.”

“Yeah. I’m fine.”

“How are things with Bakugou?”

“Why does everyone keep asking me that?!” Todoroki snapped.

“I’m sorry!” Midoriya responded immediately, panicked at his friends outburst.

Todoroki gripped the phone tight at the realization of this outburst, “Sorry, Sorry. I’m sorry, I just a bit irritable right now.”

“No kidding. Are you sure you’re okay?”

“Never been better.”

“Well, okay.” Midoriya said hesitantly. “So, um..”

“What?”

“Well, I was kind of torn on whether or not to tell you this, given what happened recently. But he keeps asking about you.”

“What is it? and who keeps asking about me?”

“Remember when you said you wanted to try bottoming?”

“Yeah.”

“Are you still trying to do that?”

“I hadn’t really thought about it recently. But I guess. Why?”

“I might of found someone for you.”
