Summary
From the age of thirteen, Adachi has been able to read minds. Sometimes it's a blessing, and sometimes a curse. The strange ability has caused him to turn inward, so he's aloof and introverted. And he doesn't have many friends. He's focused all of his energy on playing the violin, but he's still not very talented, even through master's school. Kurosawa is a famous violinist, one who is popular and sought after. Charming and warm, he's been asked to stay on and teach a master class at Adachi's program.
They've known each other for a year, but Adachi has only admired and envied Kurosawa from a distance. It's not until a night out that Adachi accidentally brushes up against Kurosawa and finds that he's smitten with him, and has been for the entire year. But their burgeoning relationship is threatened by outside forces, maybe before it even gets off of the ground.

Summary
When Zuko was ten, a random palace servant assassinated Fire Lord Azulon. Three years later, Fire Lord Ozai banished him for speaking out of turn, and his mother scorned Ozai by going with him. Three months later, his mother bled to death in a dark alley while Zuko held her hands. Armed with only a pair of swords and a mask, Zuko struggled to survive on his own. By sixteen, he had seen enough of the Earth Kingdom to have doubts about the war, but it was completely out of his hands. He knew he was never going home.
Now the Avatar has returned, along with a sliver of hope for the banished prince. For the first time in three years, Zuko has a choice to make about what he wants out of the war and what kind of person he wants to be.
