An amnesiac Amir as an outsider POV. Very clever! Beautiful control of words and a cute and comforting scene with the dog tags.

Summary
Four years ago, Stiles left Beacon Hills, to go to college, to get away from the pack, to try to mend a broken heart. He thought he'd succeeded but right when graduation came around, his whole world fell apart. Again. There's only so many times Stiles can deal with his world falling down around him. This was one time too many.
It isn't about getting the girl, or the guy, because romance and lovey feelings aren't a cure for depression.

Bookmarker's Notes
An unflinching look on depression. Not pat and neat, but unflinchingly real, gut wrenching and nowhere cliche. The ending is so hopeful in the end, I cried out of sheer relief for it. Even though it's labeled slash, it's very mild, practically sexless. However, the subject matter is a dark and desperate one. If you ending up crying while reading, be reassured it will be all right in the end...

Bookmarker's Notes
Brilliant plot with visceral descriptions from the moment Harold was shot, to the rescue. Harold refusing to leave, John making him go, Root's involvement then blase departure were all believable, in character and wonderfully realized.
This was an episode I wish we saw.

Summary
"You and Mr. Reese must have been getting along." Finch said.
Nathan offered him that rumpled, full-shouldered shrug. "He didn't shoot me, and I didn't hit him over the head with a Jack Daniels. So I'd say so, yes."After the events in God Mode, Finch and Reese are settling back into their routine of "normal". When they find out Nathan has been locked up in a government facility for the past three years, that all changes.

One of the best POI fics I have encountered. Excellent plot, IC and a good long read without getting too wordy.
