    Title: Honest Goodbyes

    Author’s Notes: This story starts out in 2025, but then goes back to 2009 and goes through high school and their years after graduation. It’s long. Also, anyone who has read anything else I’ve written knows my 16 Candles/Jake Ryan and Say Anything obsession. It’s in here, too. This is in the 3rd person, but the emphasis in the first two chapters is on Quinn. Chapters three and four have a Rachel-emphasis. Five and six have a Quinn emphasis. You get it, I’m sure.

    (or: Jisu has been pathetically in love with Yeji, who is progressing through her life so well: she has a kid and a legit job as a politician, and all Jisu has done was write love songs and babysit her kid.)

    Soojin can hear Yuqi and Shuhua talking in a loud whisper, overhearing the gist of the conversation. Before she really thinks about it, her body is making the decision for her by turning around and says, "You know, I'd say yes if you ask, Shu."
    With that she gets on her bus, leaving a dumbfounded Shuhua and Yuqi who is patting the younger's back repeatedly at the bus stop.
