Welcome to the House of Bangtan!
Seokjin thought that college would give him a few last carefree, wild years before adulthood and a career. Instead, he finds himself the head of a chaotic household, the oldest of seven young men living on their own for the first time in their lives. The college automatically assigns him the House Master and the others readily defer to him. Seokjin despairs but he's pragmatic and adjusts well soon enough. It helps that his housemates are not a bad bunch. Namjoon, Yoongi and Hoseok are a sensible trio with their own busy schedules, Jimin is cheeky and flirty but an indispensable support, and wide-eyed, innocent Jungkook immediately comes under Seokjin's wings as soon as they meet. Seokjin is looking forward to finding love, but never expected it will come in the form of the final housemate: handsome, enigmatic and charming Taehyung.

Summary
He’s unsure how much time passes between the beginning of his lingering thoughts and when he puts a forceful end to them by standing up. If he just moves his hands, the thoughts will go away. Find something to distract, he orders himself and goes on a hunt for that very thing.
So one cannot say that Taehyung was snooping because that would be a lie. Snooping implies he was looking for something or trying to make trouble and that is simply not the truth. He was just looking for something to read; a book, a magazine, even a takeout menu would do. When he stumbles upon the notepad, tucked between several magazines on the bottom shelf of the coffee table, it is a complete accident. And who keeps a legal pad anymore, anyway?
Apparently Kim Seokjin. And by the looks of it, Taehyung evaluates that the elder uses it, too. The first page is filled with tally marks. He flips to the second: same thing, tally marks top to bottom. Taehyung flips for several pages before finding one where the tallies go only halfway down the page. After that, nothing. No explanation.

Summary
Taehyung bows at his waist, his polite smile unwavering. Seokjin notes the lack of real emotion behind his dark brown eyes, and he wonders if Taehyung has made a similar observation about him. He likes to think he’s good at saving face. The doors to the hall shut, the two now left alone, and Seokjin must put effort into not shifting anxiously. Taehyung has a gaze so piercing it seems to linger even when it’s no longer on him.
“It’s an honor to meet you,” Seokjin says.
Taehyung raises his right hand, and Seokjin follows etiquette and brings the back of it to his lips in a chaste kiss. He can feel Taehyung’s body heat even through the silk and lace of his gloves.
“The honor is mine, Seokjin-ssi,” Taehyung replies, tone flat.

But all of his cynical opinions are tested when someone leaks a photo of Xiao Zhan’s soulmark. Because it is a perfect match for Yibo’s.
