Shen Qingqiu tries to give his husband a morning kiss without waking him up.Shen Qingqiu raises himself slowly so that he hovers over Luo Binghe. He doesn’t realize he’s holding his breath as he lingers there above his sleeping husband, heart fluttering in his throat as his eyes slowly drift from his husband’s demon mark to his lips. He knew that it was (sorta) romantic to wake your partner up with a kiss — and knowing Luo Binghe, his husband eats that sort of thing up — but … oh, isn’t this too embarrassing?

Shirogane clears his throat. “You are a very capable fighter and a natural at the helm. If I were to have my say, you would join my crew.”

Langa pushes his board back and forth, the little rumble of the tires filling the late afternoon quiet between them as he takes a deep, audible breath, looks directly at Reki, and nods. “Yes.”
And that’s a surprise. Reki tries not to let it show. “Have you guys been on any dates?”
“Yeah. I mean, I thought they were dates.”
That’s… kind of sweet. Sweet in the way that feels like it's going to make Reki sick. “How have you even had time for that?” he mutters. “You spend all your time with me.”

Luo Binghe develops a hole in his memory, one that is shaped specifically like Shen Qingqiu.
“Binghe, speak to this master,” Shen Qingqiu says firmly, and Luo Binghe gives him a strange look. Shen Qingqiu can’t place it and he leans forward, intending to get closer to see better. But the hand around his wrist instantly tightens to the point where it hurts, and Shen Qingqiu lets out a squawk of pain.“Binghe—!”
“Why do you keep calling me like that?” Luo Binghe returns, and Shen Qingqiu’s eyes widen at the way the words are devoid of any emotion. It is nothing though, compared to the force of what Luo Binghe says next. “Who are you?”
