Summary
Day drunk, Ed told him the truth with only a little bit of editing, focusing less on the murderous fantasies and more on the psychology of killing, the way his body had to operate separately from his mind, which he felt pretty confident that Stede could understand on some level. That the urge stuck with him, even when he tried to force it away.
Stede, the person who lit fires next to bookshelves, began to analyze him.
“Hang on a minute. You reached some type of understanding with yourself after the kraken fuckery, didn’t you? It was hard, but you were able to feel more at ease with yourself afterward, by seeing it play out?”
OR
Ed still wants to kill Stede after the fuckery. Stede has an idea.

Summary
Things between Ed and Stede are going great, overall.
They’ve put the past behind them. They’ve talked through all their feelings. They’ve worked out a very healthy co-captaining arrangement. The crew is content. The Revenge is successfully plundering every corner of the high seas.
It’s just… one thing.
[Narrator: The thing is that Stede can't last. So he goes to an apothecary to buy performance-enhancing sex drugs so he can finally give Ed the proper railing he deserves. This is the story of that railing.]

Summary
It's a solid plan, a classic bit of fuckery that should get them enough to run the ship for half a year at least. There's only one spanner in the works.
Ed can't stop looking at Stede's tits.

Summary
“So you…” Ed trails off, clearly not sure if he saw what he saw. “You made a deal with a sea-witch.”
“Yes.”
“In exchange for a tentacle dick.”
“To find what I needed to find,” Stede corrects, face flushing at Ed’s response. “And yes, in exchange for a tentacle cock. And today it’s proven it comes with a warning system as well.”
---
In which no one sails to Blind Man's Cove because Stede has a new magical instinct that serves as a warning system and also means he has a tentacle dick.
It's a lot to take for Ed, but Ed wants to give it a go.

Summary
“From the guy at the end of the bar,” Jackie slides a third whiskey neat his way — it’s the Weller 12 that he loves, but hasn’t treated himself to tonight. It’s funny that the guy who bought his drink just so happened to choose Ed’s favorite—
And oh fucking Christ, Ed looks to find his suitor and it’s the one person who would absolutely know his favorite whiskey, but is entirely off-limits.
Stede Bonnet, in a teal silk blouse that’s buttoned obscenely low, raises his daiquiri in cheers (of course he drinks daiquiris and Ed hates how fond that knowledge makes him feel).
—
In which Ed is a therapist and takes his own advice to get back out there. Except he runs into the client he's been pining after for months, and absolutely cannot go there with.Bookmarked by veronamay
