Oikawa delivers his message without a flinch, his gaze glued to the side of Hajime’s throne like any mage’s supposed to do. Mages do not look directly to their royal family.
Oikawa has never been one to follow protocol, though. Maybe, realising he’s actually following it now is what makes Hajime’s heart skip a beat.
“Is that it? You come and tell me you are all marrying me off to some random person?”
Oikawa grimaces, “He’s not random,” with a sigh, Oikawa finally, finally, meets Hajime’s gaze.
“I didn’t agree to this.”
Hajime growls when Oikawa snorts at him. “As if that mattered,” the cold hit of that sentence does something nasty to Hajime’s stomach. “You are the son of the King, you don’t get to decide these things.”

Kaminari laughs under his breath, as though the answer is already obvious. Kaminari, with his finger sitting in the loop of his earring, long, untrimmed hair falling into his face from the slow-crawling weeks they've been on the road for the summer, escaping college and responsibilities after a late night whim of a requestーone of many decisions that Bakugou doesn't regret in the slightest.
"Maybe with you," Kaminari says softly, glancing over as he hides a smile with the back of his hand.

yknow as someone who recently came out (to my friends) as non-binary this fic was really lovely to read. seeing kita and his discovery as non-bianry as well as seeing oikawa so confident in themself was really just comforting?? i guess to me. so yeah, im in love with this now!!
