Summary
Jaskier has been working for the Redanian Secret Service for years. He’s proud to serve his country to be a safer place for everyone. The biggest threat to his people’s way of life are a group of mercenary Witchers called the Wolf Pack. Jaskier’s newest mission is to free the Redanian people from this threat.
But when the Witchers rescue Jaskier from a group of RSS thugs and show him what life is like outside of Redania, Jaskier begins to question the truth he’d been taught his whole life.
His job is to kill the vicious White Wolf for the good of the Redanian people. Falling in love with a kind and noble monster hunter was never part of the plan.Bookmarked by thepythia

Bookmarker's Notes
The one with Redanian propaganda.
There’s all this fantastic tension and then it skips like right to the fluff and it was glorious I love it. -

Summary
“You always did stay, when given the choice,” Geralt replies, staring at the liquid in his glass.
“Isn’t it funny, that,” Jaskier says, and offers up a smile, a bright and true thing that it feels like Geralt hasn’t seen in ages. It warms him just as much as the alcohol does. Then, like it’s nothing, Jaskier continues. "Around you I just….feel like a moth with its wings being plucked off," he mutters, and runs a hand through his dirty hair.
Geralt takes a drink; the wine turns to ash in his mouth. “Am I the one dissecting you?”
“Always, dear.”
Or: Geralt loves Jaskier, and some things are simply easier thought than done.

Summary
Geralt wakes up plastered over a bard.
Plastered in more than one sense. He's completely and utterly drunk and also splayed out over the surprisingly robust body beneath him without a single part of them not touching.
The body groans and shoves at him weakly. "Ge'roff. Heavy."
Geralt obliges. Somethings seems familiar about the voice, and he would hope so given that he rarely allows himself to get properly drunk and never with strangers, but he can't place it. Can't place a lot of things, he realises as he forces his sensitive eyes open and looks around.
For some reason, Geralt has apparently decided to get impressively pickled in the middle of nowhere with a random bard who, familiar voice or no, he's never seen before in his life. There's a saddled horse nearby, complete with Geralt's saddle bags, but he's not Roach. For one, he's a he. He's a well bred stallion, for sure, but Geralt's always had an inexplicable preference for mares, and also /he doesn't remember getting a new fucking horse/.

The one where they jump to all the right conclusions.
This was perfect I’d read another 15k words of it. -

Did @bardofficial win a Grammy? No. But he DID put his husband in a leather tunic for the red carpet and in that sense, we’re all winners tonightSeries
