Floor 61, he recorded, staring at the elevator display screen and visualizing the task ahead. The light displayed Floor 62. He chucked around the metal casing of a lighter, floor 63, while his temple emitted a radiant golden light that indicated idea and information. He felt the flames against his “skin” as he closed the lighter and opened it again with an ostentatious spin. He looked around the elevator and examined the small area but quickly gave up trying to soothe his curiosity. That simple action landed his elevator onto floor 66 without the android noticing. He put his lighter away and sighed, somewhat thrilled by the blue number 70 that welcomed his olive-green eyes.
Markus straightened his tie and strolled out of the tiny elevator and into an active crime scene.
