Summary
Every February at Harvelle’s Costumes and Party Supplies is the same: the store practically gets coated in pink, glitter, and hearts.
Dean Winchester has been working there since his sophomore year of high school, and now, as a junior in college, he hates it--and Valentine’s Day. The only thing that makes the corporate sellout of a holiday worth it is Dean’s coworker and classmate Cas Milton, who Dean may or may not have been harboring a crush on for the past few years.
The only problem? Cas loves Valentine’s Day. Like, a lot. And he's also majorly unattainable.
Unbeknownst to Dean, Cas likes him back and is bound and determined to make Dean like the holiday--and to finally make a move. After all, their university’s student activities association is putting on a Valentine’s formal...
A lot can happen in the two weeks leading up to the holiday and the dance, but can they get on the same page before then?

Summary
Emotionally manipulated into making kitschy paintings on wood and selling them at a craft fair by his brother and sister-in-law (they cheated, though, by using his adorable 4 year old niece to convince him), Dean sacrificed pretty much an entire Saturday to sit in a stupid booth with the stupid pictures that thankfully didn't take long to make. Meeting the knitter across the aisle from him with the voice of sex and blue eyes of impossibleness suddenly made the afternoon seem not so wasted after all, though. Plus, kitsch totally sells at these places, so money and a hottie to covertly
stare atdrool oversketch? Definitely worth it.Bookmarked by sybaritic_soliloquy

Summary
“Are you okay?” Cas asked, trying to not sound too panicked.
When the man finally removed his hands and squinted up at him, his face softened with confusion, lips parting. He stared at Cas for a long moment.
“Cowboy,” he managed to say, dumbly.
“Uh,” Cas responded, equally dumb.
---
When Gabe gets Cas a job at the local western themed buffet place so that he can actually pay his half of the rent, he didn't think he was going to get stuck on sign spinning duty. Naturally, he sucks at it. So badly, in fact, he manages to knock an unsuspecting bystander on his ass, who, unfortunately, turns out to be very attractive.

Summary
The media goes into a frenzy when A-list actor Dean Winchester's soulmark is captured in a paparazzi photo—especially since he recently started dating co-star, Lisa Braeden.
Hundreds of miles away at college, Castiel Novak recognizes Dean's mark as his own. However, he doesn't feel motivated to do anything about it when Dean's quotes to the press make it clear he doesn't believe in destiny and that he's happy with his current relationship.
And yet, in spite of repeatedly telling his cousin Gabriel that he and Dean live in two different worlds that aren't meant to collide, the book he is publishing behind his mother's back becomes surprisingly successful. He agrees to let it get turned into a movie—a movie that will star none other than Dean Winchester.

Summary
Jody has never seen her staff like this. They get one reasonably attractive new hire, and everyone is acting more like the gossiping, horny teenagers they teach than sane adults. If she has to hear one more word about Castiel Novak and his brooding stare and baby blue eyes, she’s going to dump her coffee all over Daphne Allen’s head.
“I’ve been trying to find out more about him, but he’s so reserved,” Daphne sighs. “I’ve always been a sucker for the strong, silent types.”
“Castiel mentioned he was actually a student here,” Kelly says, leaning in conspiratorially. “He graduated the same year as Dean.”
Jody rolls her eyes and adds more sugar.
