Now, Dream has a decision to make: come back to live and potentially hurt the server or remain as a ghost and break his friends' hearts?

Summary
The server has bee suffering and as its admin, Dream suffers with it. He’s been doing his best to push through but during a sparring match with Techno it all comes crashing down.He’s not unfamiliar with this feeling, a heat that spreads through him like a wildfire. It eats away at his very being, numbing at first but slowly growing in intensity the longer the cause of it persists. Sometimes there is a sharp pain in his chest, sometimes his hands and feet grow fuzzy. Sometimes his throat burns and tears prick his eyes as he tries to breathe around a burning rock setting in his stomach. Sometimes it feels like he’s dying alongside his server.

It was a joyless little sound that quickly developed into coughing, into Dream's hand scratching his throat, digging the tips of his fingers in. Techno noticed that some of his nails and a finger were missing.
