Eddie Kaspbrak was alive against all odds. He was a wealthy business owner in New York City. Derry was nothing more than a bad nightmare at this point, all the monsters left in the past. He remembered his childhood, which, hey, that shit sucked, but it also meant he remembered the Losers Club and somehow that seemed like an even enough trade off for him. He was married to a woman who handled the aspects of his job he didn’t want to and cared for his every need. He had mind blowing sex fairly regularly. He had everything going for him when he looked at the facts on paper.
Three nights. He could do it for three more nights. That’s all he needed. Then his world would make sense again. He could do it.

Regardless, it's kind of starting to feel like a big deal that they were going to be spending Valentine's Day together so Richie really thinks he should at least put a little effort into it. It ends with blueberry pie. It always ends with blueberry pie, which doesn’t make any sense. Richie doesn’t even like pie. But it’s never stopped him before because it always ends with blueberry pie, especially on his worst days. They represent something bigger than just a dessert, something safe and familiar. It reminds him of someone that he’s pretty sure he loved, or still loves, even if he can’t remember their face.
It ends with blueberry pie, but it starts because Richie can't sleep.

So, in her defence for how fast the afternoon ravelled out of control: she hadn’t been paying attention. She was distracted by daydreaming up scenarios that would keep her from stripping the sheets from the bed and loading them into the washing machine in their building. She was thinking about how she needed to get a roll of quarters. She didn’t notice the tonal shift across the office as Aneesha’s office door opened and closed a few times, had no idea who had been going in or out of it for the past forty-five minutes or so. She had her Slack notifications turned off because she was trying to concentrate. She had been trying to find reasons to stay late.
They say something about that. Careful what you wish for. You reap what you sow. Maybe she had been asking for it.

You kept one hand in his hair, tugging firmly in a slow rhythm, while the other traced slowly down his spine. You could feel his muscles tightening and relaxing underneath your palm. You paused to tap your fingers with intention right beneath his belt, giving him time to voice any disagreement.
His breath hitched especially hard and you watched as his eyes flew open. He stuttered out a few assenting words and tucked his forehead to your shoulder to hide the renewed blush. You nodded and allowed yourself to slowly skim your hand downward to cup his rear and squeeze. Cove took in a sharp breath again and bucked once more upwards, slamming his thigh into your core deliciously.
“Jamie-” His voice cracked as he spoke, and his breath was coming out in harsh pants.

Honestly, this is just a big ‘ole pile of awkward first-time smut wrapped up in adorable fluff. Plot? What plot? There’s only bumbling love in that way that only teenagers are capable of.
This is set after a particularly *spicy* section near the end of the Charity Ball moment. The first 3rd or so is a spicier and more detailed retelling of that section in the game, and then it deviates from canon.
