It was not concern in that dark gaze however, but a possessiveness and disturbed look. He turned Harry’s face to the left and right, smoothing his long fingers over Harry’s cold, cold scar.
Riddle lowered himself down, so he was chest to chest with Harry, allowing Harry to clasp at his body in a tight hug. Riddle pressed his cheek against Harry’s, the bone sharp enough to cut. His long fingers carded through Harry’s thick, sweat-logged hair, pressing a scorching kiss to his temple as though Harry was fresh as a daisy.
“Oh, my little one. We will fix you.”

The cost of making a horcrux was steep and when Voldemort manages to kill Harry, destroying the horcrux within, Harry finds out the exact price of losing a piece of your soul. It made a cruel joke that if Voldemort loved his horcruxes, Harry should love them too.

Harry’s green eyes slowly blinked open to stare blearily up at the ceiling overhead before turning his head to one side to take in the unfamiliar room in which he found himself lying on his back, lovingly tucked into a large and comfortable bed. The raven didn’t have the slightest idea where he was; the last thing that he could remember was leaving the corner grocer near his house with the half-gallon of milk his mother needed in tow and setting off towards home. His head was muddled and his thoughts were confused.
The bedroom door swung open with a quiet creak and a man stepped into his line of sight holding a metal breakfast tray in his large hands. Seeing him awake his handsome face broke into a kind smile, dark eyes overflowing with love.
“Did you sleep well, my darling?” he purred, crossing the room towards him. “Have you any idea how much I’ve missed you, Harry?”- Language:

“Whose children are these?” Tom Riddle hisses. His voice is deathly quiet and yet it carries unnaturally through the common room.
No one answers him. The students look shocked. Behind him, Tom hears the rustling of a child. He steadfast ignores the noise.
“Someone better fess up or the brats’re getting kicked out into the cold,” Abraxas drawls.
“Daddy,” one of the children says.
In which two random children won't stop calling Tom 'dad' and it's actually driving him insane.
