Seeing him up close – out of the shadows – Robin’s younger than he’d realised by a good couple of years. He’s Barbara’s age. The thought of it, of a kid his daughter’s age out walking the streets every night, getting smacked around by grown men, makes his guts churn.
He trusts Batman. It’s a strange thing, to know so little about someone – to not even be trusted with a person’s real name and face – and still trust them.

Summary
Every single school had one: someone at the top of the food chain. An acme. Someone who could do things under a teacher's nose, escape consequences, and terrify other people. Someone who looked down on everyone else like they were prey. An apex predator. And Izuku couldn't count on teachers and adults to protect anyone. Even a hero school wasn't safe from the phenomena. When Izuku gets to Yuuei, he's determined to find out who it is and ensure they can't hurt him or his new friends.
...and accidentally, in the process, becomes the apex predator (though he is mostly unaware of this, and uses it for good. But still, people are terrified of him.)
(Or, a snowball chain of events wherein Izuku's paranoia leads to 1A becoming a family, everyone in school being in debt to him, Aizawa adopting everyone in his sight and slowly growing closer to committing acts of arson, the League gaining redemption and working with the resident Apex Predator to combat the Hero Commission whilst gaining technically legal identities, and Hawks finding a family. Hurt people help other hurt people, and they're all doing their best. Some laws may or may not be broken in the process.)

or,Reki’s left arm was the arm he always braced with when he fell. It was the one that, by extension, got injured the most.
Maybe he’d been fooled by naivety, by the vague idea that he’d be fresh and able-bodied forever, but limbs weren’t meant to be sprained or fractured or broken as often as his left arm was. Each trip to the hospital, he was tempting fate more and more. Really, he should’ve seen it coming:
Nerve damage.
There was a constant, never-ending ache in his arm. A dull throbbing that he eventually learned was easy enough to ignore (except, of course, when it burned like the fucking sun and he couldn’t sleep and he just curled up in his bed wishing for anything to make it stop-). It was always there, but always ignorable. He was good at ignoring his problems.
Reki's repeated injuries have left him with chronic pain. He likes to think he deals with it pretty well. It's not a big deal; no one has to know.

Summary
Normally, Simon would have no issues working with someone else on a case. There’s just one tiny, specific problem with this assignment in particular.
Simon Blackquill does not like Nahyuta Sahdmadhi.
(At least, that's what he tries to tell himself.)
Or: enemies-to-lovers, but they were never really enemies in the first place and I lean way too much into their narrative parallels.
