Summary
I read a very reasonable amount of things and thought a very reasonable amount of thoughts about this fic. But I am not an academic, and I almost certainly got some stuff wrong. Here, therefore, is the place for me to lay out where I got all my information and how I made all my choices, so that anybody can check my work and discern what things are plausible vs what things are nonsense. There will be spoilers throughout, and the last chapter will be a bibliography.

Summary
"If he had brought her to Charles Town, then she would not have let James agree to shame himself this way, and none of this would be happening. All he needed to have done was trust her."
Flint left Miranda behind when he went to Charleston. There, he agreed to Peter Ashe’s plan for securing Nassau’s future, and he and Miranda are now on their way back to London with Peter to put it into motion. Left without much to do, Miranda starts finding out things about their past.

Summary
Harry Potter, of all people, knows that life isn’t always fair. And no one gets to be happy all of the time. But surely there’s something more—something better—than a rubbish Ministry job, and a lonely old house, and that feeling that everyone out there is doing a better job of living than Harry is.
And it really doesn’t seem fair that Draco Malfoy is back in Harry’s life, all of a sudden, and even though he’s wandless, and living with Muggles, and making his mother cry with his lifestyle choices, he’s happy. So what's he doing right, that Harry isn’t?
Because things don’t really change, do they? And if Harry can’t be happy, he’ll settle for a good night’s sleep, some posh antiques, and the opportunity to find out what Malfoy has been up to for all these years.
And that’s what starts it all.

the one where Draco has stopped using magic and is really happy, while Harry is still in the wizarding world, isolated and miserable

Summary
For six thousand years, Aziraphale did his best to exist within the strictures of Heavenly conduct. It wasn’t a perfect practice; his relationship with Crowley, just for example, was never exactly what one might call “officially sanctioned,” or even, “particularly wise,” but the important thing was that Aziraphale tried. He wasn’t a very good angel, but he did his best, more or less. Wasn’t that all anyone could really ask of him?
It doesn’t really feel fair, is the point, that in reward for saving the world, Aziraphale seems to be having something of an existential crisis.

Summary
The first man to participate in Janelle's book club is a very shy long-haired guy who's probably a vet, given the prosthetic arm. She really wants the book club ladies to be his friend, and is delighted when he invites his tall blond--friend? Boyfriend? to come to book club too.
(I have tried to avoid major book spoilers, but the list of books is in the end notes if you want to be very sure.)
