    Bookmarker's Notes

Honestly one of my favorite fics, the prose is so inventive and descriptive and I end up being sucked into the world with every chapter. I am a sucker for worldbuilding and this is such a treat, I don't know how many times I've wanted to re-read a really well written phrase and ended up re-reading the chapter or even the whole fic. It's dreamy, safe, adventurous and a bit scary, with a love-story that defies time and space, what more can you ask for?

podficcers old and new, do yourselves a favor and listen to this. It might not be for everyone but you should know that visual editing is a thing that exists.

home is: wading through muddied, fallen petals and memories that litter the streets pink-brown-grey until there's a place to take off your shoes. knowing you're allowed to look down but looking up to see something infinitely soft, indefinitely picturesque; you re-teach your neck strength. blooming clouds are dancing on the trees and you have so many reasons to smile until your cheeks ache. home is.

    Bookmarker's Notes

from the first sentence I'm bought into this whole world and from there everything flows like water. this is like a feel-good fairy tale without skipping the small everyday things that makes it feel so very genuine. it is dreamy but it is not unrealistic, it holds weight and substance without feeling the need to explain the whys or how everyone ended up where they did before this fic starts.

Ryoko feels so real, actually everyone does, and despite them having graduated and matured I never got the feeling that anyone was out of character, even the characters with a very small amount of screen time, give off the vibe that the same amount of care and thought has gone into their characterization as the main cast, its a joy reading everyones character development. its really well paced and nothing feels too heavy handed and while I'm sure this could have been longer, it never feel as if it should have been. what needs to be said is said, there is never a feeling as if something is missing.

I initially clicked on this because I was curious to see what the author would do with this pairing, now this is one of those fics that I keep going back to to reread a paragraph or two, but end up rereading the whole thing instead, if i ever need some hope or want to fall in love with the world again I come here. it is honestly one of my favorite fics and possibly one of my favorite written things of all time (also how this fic is less than 10k I'll never understand, it feels much longer, in a good way).
