When people thought of the God of Death, they probably imagined something dark, mysterious, and terrifying. Tamaki, though, is none of that. He’s timid and shy, and would frankly much rather spend his time hanging out with animals than of socializing with other gods or mortals. One would think that after thousands years of collecting souls and sending them to the afterlife, he’d have gotten used to socializing. Nope! He’s still an anxious, introverted mess. It’s ironic, really. People are meant to fear death, but in actuality the God of Death is deathly afraid of people.
His boyfriend thinks it’s adorable.
An AU where Tamaki and Mirio are gods of death and the afterlife, and also very very in love.
