Summary
Things were different, after what was supposed to be the end of all things.
Obviously, there were the big differences, like the Ineffable Plan being in question, the Apocalypse not happening, the Antichrist being a good kid who did his best to right things, and the fact that Heaven and Hell were convinced Crowley and Aziraphale were hybrid freaks, gone native, and unkillable.
But there were little differences, too. And these were the ones that kept Crowley up at night.
Aziraphale was...different. In the best ways, for sure, as the angel relaxed for the first time in six thousand years. But also in ways that set Crowley’s unnecessary heart pounding, and made his breath catch in fear.

In retrospect, Derek never should have rubbed the lamp.
But Derek did, which is how he got stuck with Stiles, who was truly a terrible genie. He didn’t even do things the way a normal genie was supposed to.
“What do you mean ‘it’s not three wishes’?” Derek bit out, glaring at Stiles, who was perched on the end of his couch. Literally perched. Like crouched on his tip toes.
“I don’t really know how to make it clearer,” Stiles said, long fingers twisting in the bright red hoodie he was wearing. “Is English not your first language? No son tres deseos. Ce ne est pas trois souhaits. To nie trzy życzenia.”
(Or the one where Stiles is a genie and Derek lives broken and alone in New York until a certain mole-covered immortal teenager LITERALLY pops into his life.)

As quills for their letters, they exchange wing feathers: a gesture of great intimacy that Crowley is convinced only he perceives the depth of. But time will tell that it’s not just him who sees it that way.

Summary
It doesn't happen all at once; it sneaks up, seeps into Aziraphale slowly in the months following the Not-pocalypse, which makes it a bit hard to pinpoint which of Aziraphale's many transgressions had been the final straw.
OR
Aziraphale falls. He handles it as best he can. Crowley handles it infinitely worse.
