Midoriya Izuku has been in love ever since he could remember. He never made a big deal out of it - here he was, at mere age six, deeply in love with his best friend. And so was when he turned sixteen, and when he was soon to be seventeen.
But the hanahaki in his lungs was never supposed to be more than just a little bush.

Izuku and Katsuki aren't together anymore. To take up his time, Izuku joins his school's band club, becomes the lead singer, makes some impulsive decisions, and accidentally gets a little famous. All because he's downright heartbroken, and Katsuki isn't (or at least, he doesn't look it).
Maybe some people were just meant to find their way back to each other. It might take a few stumbles, though.

He’d always been the creepy, quirkless kid before anything else, All Might’s protege or not.

Or: Izuku is expelled because of his notebooks, being 'too dangerous' to stay in U.A, traitor or not. Class 1-A isn't happy about this, and they all withdraw with him.
