At her touch, Luke doesn’t stir. His shut eyelids flutter but he’s still under the effects of the tranquilizer. She traces her thumb over his lips and like this, he’s so peaceful. No worries and no thoughts; all of him given to her in desire and trust.
Emboldened by this, Ria leans in closer, straddling his waist as she trails her hand down his body to rest at his warm chest that rises and falls with each breath. Under her palm, she feels the steady beat of his pulse, and the hesitant heat inside of her gut starts to burn hotter. She wants his pulse racing. She wants his breathing ragged around his moans. She wants all of him arching into her touch and singing with pleasure she’s giving to him because Luke is—
“Mine,” she exhales against his bared throat. “All mine, aren’t you?”

Luke groans, and this time it’s not from pleasure. “I’m going to kill you. But before that, can you just fuck me already? Final exam. In half an hour.”
“You’re no fun,” Marius pulls back with a pout. “But I guess you’re right. Wouldn’t be in character for the teacher’s pet to not be early, huh?”

Luke is competing with Marius over who’ll get the highest score in their Intro to Economics final exam. Which is stupid because they aren’t even in the same course, Marius is just such a goddamn asshole and Luke cannot stand him! at! all!
...Ignore the fact that Luke lets Marius fuck him on a regular basis, that’s not important.

Giann happily munches on diced peaches and the sweet victory of Marius failing to rattle him. “And the last big thing I missed?”
Marius smirks, “I’m in a romantic relationship rest of the current NXX Investigation Team in a super cool polycule setup.”
Giann loses all the composure the media loved to praise him for and nearly chokes on his fruit. “What?”

After Giann (and Neil) are rescued, Giann learns that Marius is dating four people. That’s…a lot of people to Giann needs to vet. Because he’s the older brother, y'know? He has to vet Marius’ boyfriends + girlfriend.
And while the logistics of intimidating an entire polycule to Not Break Marius’ Heart are a bit of a doozy, he's determined to see it through.

“I don't know, time?” She’s conflicted on whether to lean outwards into his touch or to snuggle herself closer to his body, press her head closer to his chest. Inside, his pulse beats steadily and she wonders that maybe, if she can make a home in his heart, Marius will let her stay. “This is really…nice.”
“If you open your eyes for me,” Marius says softly. “I promise this won’t all end suddenly.”

He usually holed up for a day after a mission just to get in the right headspace. To shake off Raven and to bring back Luke. He didn’t get to do that (he didn’t deserve it anyway) and he couldn’t help but feel… off.

Artem was the same kind of pillar that Giann was, he stood tall and proud just like his big brother. He helped the team with a small smile on his face that reminded him of his big brother and Marius couldn't stand it.
Whenever he saw that same expression that Giann had all the time on Artem he felt it deep in his stomach and he felt ill and he felt like he wanted to punch Artem in the face because of it.
