Later, when thinking back on how he first met Harry Potter, Shawn Hunter had to admit that he wished psychotic, bank robbing, clowns didn't feature so heavily in the tale. It really wasn't the meet-cute he'd always dreamed of as a child who'd been overly influenced by both '90s romantic comedies and the sheer ridiculousness that was the Cory-and-Topanga-Love-Story-Extravanganza.
At least it made for a unique story, though?

Footnote [2]. Beatrice’s letters note her husband, Isaac Higgintoot’s (1740-77) close relationship with Dorothy’s husband, Edward. Noting in her personal journals, on news of her husband’s death, “He [Edward] seems even more devastated than I.” (February 1778). This passage, along with his noted close friendship, hints to Beatrice’s husband being queer as well; her relationship with him perhaps an early instance of a true “lavender marriage.” However, this is a topic for another paper, and current evidence is insufficient to support this assertion.

This series is: Queer in a multitude of ways. Morally complex. A massively canon-divergent AU. Filled with oc's and non-oc's. A story about relationships, love, trust, friendship, healing ... and revolution.
There are seven novel-length fics, plus a prologue (to leap and love the fall) and two short stories (with courage unyielding and the gentle sunlight). All are posted in the correct reading order.
