jungkook grinned, untrimmed hair falling into his eyes, "it was hard," he admitted, "but that's why i picked you."
jimin didn't really know what to say. was jungkook saying that it was really over? jimin felt like he had lost his eyesight, and was about to walk into a wall. lost, confused and scared. why did he feel this way? shouldn't he be glad?
OR, jimin has competed with jungkook since the beginning of middle school. but when their rivalry finally ends, he doesn't know what to do with himself and all these confusing feelings.

He really had meant every word he’d said earlier that day. Jimin wasn’t one for backing down on his promises, but Jungkook is Jungkook, Jimin is Jimin and they always end up like this. No matter how hard Jimin pushes him away, Jungkook keeps pulling him back.

Jimin swallows, his mouth going dry. His throat tightens as the words leave Jeongguk’s mouth and he doesn’t like what he’s hearing, but he can’t deny that everything he’s saying is plausible. They started living together in college; two broke students from Busan sharing a two-bedroom apartment, working part-time jobs and barely making rent. Realistically, yes – he and Jeongguk don’t have a reason to be living together anymore, and Jimin would probably feel only a little sad about them parting and then move on with his life in a different apartment, if he and Jeongguk hadn’t been having sex for the past year and half.
Or: in which Jimin and Jeongguk are roommates who have casual sex together and Jeongguk wants to move out.
