TLDR: I’m mad they didn’t include vision when they flashed to the alternate Wanda. So here. Also want to explore what happens after she’s given powers. Probably 5-6ish chapters.

Kate doesn't really know where she came from. Two parents - obviously. But anytime before her father's death, she couldn't remember. Not a second. Just voices telling her that they loved her, but she didn't know the voices or the lips that they came from. And pain: she knew she was somewhere bad. She knew she had done bad things and she didn't remember. She didn't realize her answers were in the same place her family was.

They’d had her right after Budapest. He had pissed a lot of people off that week. A lot of people that you wouldn’t want to piss off. He thought nothing would come of it, but when he went back to that house with Laura, and his daughter. Men, coincidentally with Russian accents, had broke into their home and tried to attack his family because of what he did in Budapest. It wasn’t safe anymore. And they had to send their daughter away. It wasn’t safe. He remembered looking into her eyes the last time when they were dropping her off to the new place they’d found for her. He remembered she’d been asking for her daddy and for her mommy. He was never going to forgive himself for that. And Laura would never forgive herself. But it wasn’t safe.
