Or: Marius convinces the mechs to go back for Lyf. They all agree it's just until they can get the story of the Bifrost out of them, but when someone is stuck on a spaceship fleeing a rainbowy hell with you long enough. You start to get attatched.

Summary
Martin Blackwood can't exactly say that his life is normal. It started out normal enough, but he's pretty sure that becoming a pseudo-immortal space pirate after being ripped open by a vampire doctor is a bit "out there". But he hasn't been home in centuries, and after the events of the Bifrost Incident, he really just wants to return to the mundane for a bit. Maybe he can tie up some loose ends while he's at it.
The new archiving job and extra-spooky supernatural insanity wasn't exactly what he'd had in mind.
