Summary
Jaskier let out a sigh. “Oh my love,” Love? His love? Geralt wondered who the bard was talking to now. Perhaps he had begun to drift off into some sort of dream himself. However, before Geralt was able to draw any conclusions, Jaskier started to hum quietly.
Geralt was wholly enraptured. He lay stock still, following the bittersweet rise and fall of the bard’s voice. Each graceful dip in pitch a valley for him to traverse, each ascent, a sloping hill. He walked the trail of his voice until he found himself nearing sleep once more. Then, softer than any rain that could have fallen in that land of which he had so beautifully conceived, Jaskier began to sing…

Jaskier pours his heart out to Geralt while he thinks the Witcher is asleep... He is not asleep...

Summary
Maybe it was how upset he was, maybe it was because he was deliriously tired, maybe it was because it was nearing 3am, or maybe it was because Jim thought he’d never get this opportunity again, as even if it did arise, he’d never allow himself to take it again, Jim asked for what he wanted most in the world.
“Spock,”
“Yes, Jim?”
“Spock, will you please stay with me? Just till I fall asleep I mean.” -

Summary
Golden light spilled through the dusty windows and pooled on the floor of the little upstairs flat. It stung behind Crowley’s eyelids and made his head feel like it was stuffed with cotton.
He groaned into his pillow. Oh G--, Sa--, Somebody, how much had he drank last night? Certainly enough to land him-- wherever he was. Where was he? This was not his bed. It was too soft, too warm. Smelled too much like cinnamon, and dust, and Azir-- No. No way. Nope. Nuh-uh. There was no way he’d gotten so sloshed he’d ended up in Aziraphale’s bed.

Summary
“There is barely a ribbon or a feather or a scrap of silk left this side of Exeter.”
“No woman under thirty is left unmoved,” Tom said, grinning around the stem of his pipe.
“Even our Essie is taken up with the idea!” Esther’s dark eyes were dancing in the firelight. “Though she is far too young to think of marrying at present — least of all to Mr James Fitzjames.”
