Summary
Eight times Siyang and Zhuo Zhi find each other across lifetimes, seven times they lose each other, seven lessons they take with them, and the one time they get it right.
this is a story about soulmates, and all the things they learn, which means... they don't always get it right, even if they come close. banter, laughter, and tears ahead. this was an excuse to flex the angst writing muscles. also research chinese poetry. tbh mostly the poetry.
while some tales may involve death, not all of them do! i'll flag in the author notes beforehand so you'll always be aware and can skip if you need to.
