“Yeah,” Ichigo nods just a bit to himself more than anything. “That’s what I thought you’d say.”
Ichigo’s hand clenches.
There’s a wet gurgling sound and the shinigami goes limp in Ichigo’s grip.
For a moment Ichigo just stands there, a dead body in one hand and a bag of groceries on the counter behind him.
“Well,” Ichigo finally sighs. “Here we go again.”
